Dr Amy Yang is the best acupuncture doctor! I have seen many acupuncture doctors over the last…read more~20 years, and none of them are anywhere close to being as good as Dr Yang. She does Chinese Traditional Medicine, and has been trained by top doctors in China. After I started seeing her, I found out she even has written multiple books and has a Phd! She is super smart and is fluent in both Chinese and English My Story: I have ITP, which is an autoimmune disorder. I have been seeing American doctors for years, and have to take several medications for it. The doctors, hospitals, and medications have taken their toll on me. After seeing Dr Yang, my energy is noticeably better, I look younger, my thinking is much better (which shows up in my work performance), my ITP is getting better, I'm sleeping better, and feel happier. My body feels like it is getting stronger starting on the inside, which is the best way to heal. Recently, I had really bad allergies from pollen, and my nose and sinuses were complete stopped up. I mentioned it to Dr Yang, and she added in extra treatment to deal with that. I had fast relief, and my nose and sinuses opened up and everything cleared out! At each appointment, Dr Yang will check the tongue, and use other Chinese methods see how my body is responding to treatment. Then she will adjust the treatment accordingly. She also teaches methods to deal with "life" things that come up, and teaches better mindset during treatment. She taught me breathing excercises to do, and she uses QiGong while placing the needles, which makes treatment even more effective. These things all make a noticeable difference. Though Dr Yang is an amazing acupuncture doctor, she is also far more. She is very compassionate towards her patients, is deeply concerned with their well-being, teaches problem-handling skills, provides new perspectives on "life", and teaches healing energy. All of this in addition to the QiGong mentioned above. I am very grateful for having found Dr Yang.

I'm almost hesitant to post this because I don't want her schedule to get completely booked up but…read moreQueen seriously has magic hands! She does an incredible job releasing tension. The deep tissue is definitely not your "relax and fall asleep" kind of massage -- it's more of a true deep tissue massage where she really gets in there and works out the knots. I walked in carrying a ton of tension and walked out feeling like my shoulders had finally unclenched for the first time in forever! What's crazy is she's tiny, but so strong and relentless when it comes to getting those knots out. Don't let the size fool you -- she will find every tight muscle you didn't even know you had... and probably a few you were hoping she wouldn't find. The place itself is clean and has a nice atmosphere. It's not a luxury spa-type place, but it's comfortable and welcoming. If you carry a lot of stress or muscle tension and want someone who actually works things out, Queen is amazing and I highly recommend her.

Found this place through social media after seeing how highly rated and recommended it was. Queen…read morewas incredibly accommodating and even fit me in a day earlier than scheduled. Now...her style is not for the weak. She will get every knot out of your back and release tension throughout your entire body, and sometimes that requires full-on pressure that not everyone can handle. That said, you can absolutely ask her to go lighter, she's very attentive and will tailor the pressure to your comfort. In my opinion, she's perfect for blue-collar workers who are on their feet all day, caregivers, nurses, athletes, and regular gym-goers who truly need relief. She knows exactly what she's doing and is deeply in tune with her work. I felt immediate relief after my Swedish hot stone massage. The pressure was intense at times, but I breathed through it and didn't ask her to go easier because I knew my body needed it. I did notice a previous review mentioning bruising..this can be normal with deep tissue work, but again, communication is key and she will adjust to your preference. Thank you, Queen T! you are a gem.

I've gone to Physical Therapy in many places; but none of those places are as great as Golden…read moreHills. Everyone is so friendly here: the therapists, aides, and front desk staff are all awesome! My therapist Vanessa is helping me get my mobility back and my attitude has completely improved. The aides who work with me (usually Sam and sometimes Tuette) are patient and so helpful and encouraging. (Sam told me I WILL dance again!) My main aide last year was Angel, who always greets me with a smile. The atmosphere is more like a fun gym and less like a hospital (some PT places made me depressed like that!) There's music and laughter here; everyone is ready to assist. The only drawbacks: high copay (for me anyway) and who ever heard of a Physical Therapy place on the second floor?? (There IS a creaky elevator). They do not have a bathroom so you have to use the building bathrooms, which are frequently filthy. (But that's not on Golden Hills; that's the building management!!) Come here and get moving - I highly recommend this place. I've on my third round (different issues) and I love it here

Not the Best Experience…read more I understand many businesses are often busy and understaffed, but that should never affect basic patient/customer courtesy and providing decent service. Pros: - Organized - Good upbeat music - Comfortable room temperature - Nice small play area for small kids - Sessions ends w/15 min ice or heat therapy rest Cons: - Highly internally social front desk area, neglectful to patients - No proactive follow-up regarding VM messages & call backs - Sometimes smells stuffy and sweaty with everyone The front desk area often feels like a social gathering, frat-party among the staff, leaving paying customers feeling like an afterthought. Communication and follow-up was disappointing. I left multiple VM messages and spoke with staff over the phone regarding important time-sensitive medical records I needed. Out of about seven attempts, I received only two callbacks, one a couple of days later, and the other several days later. In most cases, I had to repeatedly follow up myself and repeat the detailed messages I left. Suggestions for Management: - Hold the front desk and all staff accountable to provide welcoming and professional service to all patients/customers. - Set clear expectations for prompt follow-through service. - Maybe incentivize good behavior from your staff with Starbucks gift cards or something. - Make sure you have a trusted Office Manager to keep everyone on point. The clinic could benefit from a few simple additions, like a few plants, framed health tips, encouraging quotes or posters, updated magazines in the lobby area, and maybe an essential oil diffuser to keep the workout area smelling fresh and pleasant, especially considering how busy it gets. The QR codes and flyers that are displayed on the walls that encourage us to post reviews would look more professional if they were placed in simple frames, and the QR codes were placed in an easy-to-scan, non-high-traffic walkway area. Overall: Healthcare is about more than treatments and exercises. Studies show that positive interactions, genuine kindness, and feeling acknowledged can improve a patient's emotional well-being and overall healing experience. Something as simple as a smile, warm greeting, or thoughtful gesture, and a pleasant smell can truly make a meaningful difference to someone's mood and nervous system. This clinic has potential, but the overall patient experience needs a massive overhaul. The positive qualities, unfortunately, are overshadowed by poor and careless communication from the front desk area and some of the other PT staff on the floor. Sometimes it feels like no matter who I talk to there, I just feel like another number.
