I'm really disappointed to have to give such a low rating. It's been a year since my last visit, and while I had some wonderful experiences in the past, today was unfortunately not one of them. I brought my cousin, who's visiting from LA, and she also had a less than satisfactory experience with her masseuse. It seems like my cousin had an older gentleman, who I remember not being the best from my previous visit. He's certainly a nice person, but he could benefit from some additional training in massage techniques. My massage was similarly lacking; my therapist kept rubbing in the same direction on my back and didn't really address any of my knots. In the past, the staff seemed to have a better intuition about where to focus, but today felt quite different. I really hope they can improve their training because I would love to come back--this place is so convenient and the staff is generally very friendly. It's just disappointing to have such a mixed experience. read more

Found Green Healthy Spa on yelp search, needed a new place to visit since the last place I went to my go to masseuse had left. Went on a weekday afternoon as a walk in and they gladly accepted. No worries. Got Jaisy as my helper and am glad I did, she definitely found my spots that needed a lot of attention. No pun intended. She started with a warm up with a towel while on my back from neck to calves. Then she worked on my upper body like shoulders and upper back with oil and kneaded with firm hands. I was feeling pretty confident and relaxed with her. No rush. For a no frills massage business at 60$ for an hour session, the private and clean room are worth it. The rooms are clean and have no open overhead, which is nice not to hear conversations or distractions. Enso forever. Professional. Clean. Friendly. Quiet and do not ask/ beg for a tip. The deep tissue massage felt like heavy pressure, and my body just hurt when I breathed in. I felt so scared because of the crushing sensation and was hoping I wouldn't get hurt. I was stressed from it and that made my bad day even worse. I was disappointed that they couldn't converse with me, or provide suggestions on an after care plan. I was kind enough to say "thank you" and the look in the woman's eyes were hard and stern. I just felt that there is a story behind that kind of stone face, and I definitely felt that she didn't want me to come back. I'm not understanding why this place feels so uninviting? Great massage. Clean and private rooms. Good price. I've been to quite a few massage places from fancy to questionable. Green Healthy Spa hits a very nice balance with simple, but tastefully decorated private rooms. The masseuses give quality massages tailored to what you ask for. The prices are very reasonable for the quality of service and environment. On tipping; Most of the base price of a massage goes to the owner for rent, and other maintenance and supply costs, taxes, their profit, etc. The massage therapists get little to nothing unless you tip them. If you can't afford a 20-25 dollar tip on a $75 massage, or worse you're too cheap to tip, you shouldn't get a massage. Not tipping is expecting the therapists to work for free. While owners could never say this in a public forum...I'm sure talented massage therapists are delighted for cheap, non-tippers to go elsewhere. read more

I've been coming here for a while, but held off writing a review because I selfishly wanted to keep it as my hidden gem. However, I've matured and decided it's time to share how awesome this spot is! I like to try to treat myself to a massage once a month or so, so reasonable price is my priority. It's $50 for 60 minutes, which I think is a great deal. Rooms are private and clean. Although not completely soundproof, it's rarely loud outside so there's little to no outside disturbances. It's always been easy for me to snag an appointment, even same day. I don't have a specific person I ask for, because every masseuse I've had has been fantastic. I like hard pressure, and I've always gotten that here. The free water bottle at the end is an added bonus! Definitely recommend trying this place if you want a no frills, but great quality massage. They prefer payment in cash, especially for the tip so prepare accordingly. read more

It was 5:30 when I looked at the end time. It's like I paid for a 35 min massage instead of 1 hour. I've been here 1 other time and it was good as well, but I didn't pay attention to the time. I have been looking for a reasonably priced place to schedule massages on a regular basis. The cost of somewhere like Burke Williams feels a bit excessive. Green Healthy is located in a strip mall by Dominos, but the parking is easy and its really clean and nice. I recently had a 90-minute massage with Nicole and she did a great job. Although I really REALLY ENJOY the massages that the masseuses' give here but .....I DO NOT APPRECIATE being unprofessionally pressured for a bigger tip. I am not the most wealthy and getting a massage every now and again is a splurge for me. So being asked to give more to the masseuse on a $75 massage is incredibly unprofessional and this is the second time in a row they have pressure me. I was asked to give $25 dollars tip on my $75/90 mins massage which = $100. I would've gotten the 120 minute/$100 massage had I really been able to pay more. In the interest of "full disclosure", I have been a customer of the owner's first location for years. When he told me about his new place I was anxious to give it a try (closer for me!). This is an almost-new facility benefiting from Ken Li's experience at his Green Healthy Massage in Santa Clara. Rooms are clean, quiet, nicely decorated and appointed, creating a perfect ambiance for a relaxing massage. The affordable pricing makes this all the more unexpected. I was fortunate to have Cherry as my masseuse. My body was very much "in need" this day; stresses had left my muscles knotted up like pretzels! Cherry asked how deep a massage I'd like and I replied "have at it...you'll soon see!". The initial "fact-finding" rub felt so welcoming... After a bit she was walking on my back, the transition as imperceptibly performed as a Cirque du Soleil acrobat! Her feet were at least as talented as her hands at smoothing out my kinks, and her ability to fine tune her weight's pressure with the ceiling bars made for a more comfortable yet effective experience. Ninety minutes flew by; Green Health's "signature" hot towel rub down means it's soon time to flip over and enjoy the final few moments of your massage. Cherry also manipulated my body with some useful stretching maneuvers which I feel help make the massage benefits "last". I certainly had no qualms in presenting her with a nice tip for a job well done. I have been getting massage for many years. Love this place! Discovered it from Yelp and am so pleased. I was merely expecting a good massage, and not only did they fulfill that, but they have private rooms for your massage WITH A DOOR. That means you are not listening to your neighbors snoring, talking, laughing, etc. To top it off, the 3 individuals I spoke to all spoke a fair amount of English. It's easy to find because it's located in an outdoor mall next to Taste of China and near Safeway. And it's still quiet and relaxing with plenty of parking. He had his massage from Lucy and absolutely enjoyed it. I got mine from Ken. He was polite, introduced himself and asked for my name. First time visit here. I had an hour appointment, but I was enjoying the massage so much, and since I had the time, I asked if I could have 90 minutes. I felt like the cost for 90 minutes, $75. was quite reasonable for the wonderful massage I received. I saw Emma, and when I asked her about her schedule, she replied she works "everyday".
