DON'T EVEN! I remembered Super Shuttle from many years ago - had a good experience, so booked a car to and from ONT. Big mistake. First of all, I'm not sure Super Shuttle actually exists anymore. It seems to be a website that solicits business for another company. There were two other companies involved in the whole thing, Execucar and Prime Time Shuttle. Next, it turns out that both of our drivers were sent from LA - for a trip from Redlands to ONT??? I'm going to tell you about our return trip first because that was worse. (I booked both at the same time.) We had two layovers on the flight home and at each one I checked for a message from the company - nothing. So when we boarded the last flight we were two hours from the pick up time and I still had nothing. Just as we walked up the ramp at ONT, I received a text saying to contact my driver if I hadn't heard from them - but I had never received any driver info. Well, it seems like they never booked a driver, because I called the number in the text (for the office) and after 10 minutes they told me the drive was on the way and would be there in 7-10 minutes. This was right at the 11:45 p.m. pick up time. This was a lie. The (poorly designed) tracker showed the driver in the East LA area when I started to follow it. We were picked up at 12:30 a.m. - 45 minutes late. I guess I should be thankful that we were picked up at all. I do have to say that Yerar, our driver, was professional, apologetic, and courteous - and got us home safely. The driver for the first trip arrived super early, so we felt rushed. Then, he was falling asleep as he drove (it was 4:45 a.m.) We talked to him just to keep him awake. His nav was set to the corporate office of the airport - which is on the opposite side of the runways from the terminals. He had no clue and we had to tell him how to get to Terminal 2. He also complained about how poorly he was being paid for the drive - maybe fishing for a bigger tip (which was included in the price). But we got there alive and without giving him a bigger tip. BTW, the online tracker for the second trip also had the corporate office as the pick-up point - if this is your business shouldn't you know where the terminals are - info that was in the reservation? I sent an email to the company the next day - a week ago - and have had no response. If you're in the IE, it looks like there are plenty of other quality choices - use one of them! read more

We made our reservations on line. They arrived early for pick-up. We made our flight. The return was a little different. I was on hold for fourth five minutes trying to let them know we were waiting. Expecting our ride to show any minute, we were shocked to find out that although we had set a time and place for pickup, the dispatcher informed me that there were no shuttles available in our area. He said it's best we just refund our money and find alternate transportation. Ask me if I'll ever use super shuttle again... No fucking way... You have to rate at least a one star to post... DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY Incredibly bad business I had reservation for airport shuttle & received a phone call & a text ONE HOUR before the scheduled pick up time that my reservation was canceled and no alternative solution offered. I have copied & pasted my request to SPEAK WITH SOMEONE BY PHONE and I have also copied & pasted the lame email response I received from the "customer care case manager " who obviously can't read. Also note no phone number for me to contact this " manager" is provided. I was able to find an Uber driver at 4:30 am. Seems likely Uber & Lyft will put these people out of business. I was doing the right think by having my father get picked up by the Execucar component of Super Shuttle. My father had to find out after his pick up time that they had no drivers that could pick him up. Thank goodness for Uber who came in 7 minutes and were cheaper. I cannot recommend NOT using this company more strongly. If i I could give a lower rating than 1 I would. I have been trying for 2 weeks to get a receipt from them for a $116 Shuttle ride home in San Jacinto after my deployment for the Air Force. What they email you is not a receipt and is not accepted for military travel vouchers. As it was, I waited over 30 minutes for a ride I had reserved and when a Shuttle finally showed up, the driver said he was not there to pick me up. Eventually he contacted his dispatcher and they said to take me. This company sucks. read more

I would give a much lower rating if I was able to. After scheduling pick-up and transport for my wife and grand daughter to LAX a week before our flight, they left us a text message one hour before scheduled pick up saying they were canceling due to not having a van available. This is totally unacceptable. Luckily I was able to jump in our car and make the 4 1/2 hour round trip to LAX to get them safely on their international flight. It was not an easy trip as I am still recovering from recent surgery and was not prepared for such a long commute. Unless you like the excitement of the gamble, I highly recommend you make other arrangements to get yourself and/or your loved ones to the airport. I will never use this service again and I learned a lesson to always check reviews as I had based my selection on past service experiences from years ago. If I could give negative stars, I would. We booked with them far in advance (about 2 months) and we expected them to pick us up when our flight arrived. Our flight was on time, by the way. Anyway, we collected our luggage, checked in online and waited. We waited, waited, waited, well you get the point! Finally, after about an hour, we hailed a cab to take us to our destination. We arrived, with the help of the taxi and it wasn't until about an hour later, we heard from Super Shuttle. They finally assigned a vehicle but there was no mention of a pickup time! The worst part was that I couldn't cancel the reservation even though they didn't show up so I ended up paying for a ride that never happened!!!! read more

Planned, prepaid for a execucar to pick up my 70 year old mother at 11:30PM at the airport, provided all the flight information, gate, flight # etc, when she called after baggage claim as per instructions was told it would be nearly an hour for her ride. I called the customer service number and after 2 people passed me back into the call que not wanting to deal with me a 3rd had the audacity to tell me that was impossible, then corrected herself as I told her that was precisely what happened and she verified per notes on the reservation. The total of the call was no explanation why a customer was left on the curb, no apology, no nothing, only that I could go to the website and post a complaint. Since we don't know each other, isn't it normal that we remain silent? And i am pretty sure at least three of us are awake enjoying our own music. Racist: After I answered the driver's question " turn right on B street?" with " go straight on A street," he pointed at me and asked the front seat passenger " no english?" I don't even know that guy and I clearly answered in full English. Been in US since age of 9 and now in college, I am pretty sure I can perfectly pronounce "go straight on A street." We took a trip to Alaska recently, and we needed handicapped services as my father is in a motorized wheelchair and would've required help getting into the vehicle. In BOTH trips--to the airport and back--we got a van with a mechanical lift for wheelchairs. We made our flight in good time, with time to spare. THIS was a GREAT RELIEF TO ME. Also, on our return trip, we managed to get home early. Contacted them before boarding our return flight home, and our driver was waiting for us before we even picked up our luggage. These guys not only did their job, they did it well. Drivers were friendly, considerate and helpful. Reservation was made online from their website, and driver status could be monitored from their app. I would recommend this service. I would also recommend making decent allowances for Murphy's Law in ANY planning in general. read more

Let's see. Driver falling asleep at the wheel? Check. Highbeaming other drivers on the road? Check. Unable to stay in a lane and almost hitting two motorcyclists? Check. Cutting off big rigs? Check. Tailgating other drivers? Check. Hard braking due to tailgating? Check. Moving in and out of the carpool lane illegally? Check! Nearly causing multiple accidents?! Check! My wife and I were on our way to LAX to catch a flight for our honeymoon and decided to use Supershuttle to drop us off seeing that we were both tired from the wedding festivities. The driver arrived on-time (barely). Things were fine until he got on the freeway. Everything listed above ACTUALLY HAPPENED! It's almost like the guy wanted to get into an 'accident' so he could take some time off. He was either really sleepy or really intoxicated, I couldn't tell. My wife, another passenger we picked up, and myself all were nauseous because of this guy's erratic driving. By the grace of God, we all somehow made it to our destination. Not trying to ruffle any feathers here, but I think we would've been safer on the Titanic. That's how bad the Supershuttle service was. Good news is, we'll never use them again. I wish I could give them zero star. They are simply awful!!! Avoid this business at all cost!! Worse customer service! Use Uber/Lyft instead! The driver showed up 30 minutes late for the scheduled pick up time. As I waited, I tried to reach the driver several times; all my attempts were ignored. Then, the driver ignored my pick up instructions and went to a wrong location. By then, they were 45 minutes late. Did the driver even try to acknowledge his mistakes or apologize? Hell no! We just got into the airport after being away for a week all we want to do is get home, but our shuttle is no where to be found. After checking in and waiting for 20 mins I finally called dispatch and after being transferred a couple times I finally got the ontario dispatch office and they told me that no one was assigned to pick us up, after putting me on hold he came back to tell me that he was unable to get a hold of any of his drivers even though they were available for rides, so now we have to wait another 30 mins to get a ride. Worst service ever wouldn't recommend it to anyone and dispatcher was not even apologetic about it. Super Shuttle a no show at 1158 pm. Left my 80 year old mom waiting alone at the pickup location without knowing what was going on. Called from Dallas to rescheduled pickup time due to major flight delay. They said no problem, noted flight #, 1141pm arrival time, etc. They said they keep informed of the flight statuses. I thought great, it's handled! Received instructions to text them upon reaching Ontario, Ca. This is where everything fell apart. Notified them of arrival by text as per instructions. Arrived at the designated pickup location, designated time. And no shuttle. No communication back from them to indicate when shuttle might arrive. Waited, waited. Called and found out they were closed for the night. A taxi driver walked over to my mom to say that they won't send out a shuttle just for one person. They will wait for another plane to arrive. If one doesn't then too bad, are out of luck. And since the flight was so late, they won't send a shuttle. They'll just leave people hanging, wondering, waiting. My mom ended up taking the taxi, which was only $10 more than the total for the super shuttle. I won't receive a refund because they noted on her account that "Ride has been completed or reservation pickup time has already passed." Never again. Zero stars if I could. read more

I have used their service on 5 separate occasions and was not picked up on 3 of these! Incident 1: Arrival at LAX on 8/17/2015 I had a confirmed reservation for my American Airlines flight 1092 to be picked up at LAX (11:04pm). Upon my arrival, I contacted the dispatcher on the ground, who told me they wouldn't be able to honor the reservation, as there wouldn't be any van available and no contacted driver wanted to take me. His recommendation was for me to take a cab and pay for it myself. I then escalated the matter to the callcenter supervisor, who arranged a van with 5 other parties that picked me up at LAX 80 minutes later. It took me an additional 3h and 40minutes to make it back home to Riverside. Incident 2: Arrival at ONT on 12/20/2015 I had a confirmed reservation for United Airlines flight 5422 to be picked up at ONT (12:30am). Upon arrival, I contacted the phone dispatcher, who told me they wouldn't be able to honor the reservation, as they expected me an hour earlier (despite me having email proof to the contrary). Her only recommendation was for me to take a cab and escalate the matter to the customer service department, asking for a refund and the fare difference between the Supershuttle fare and the cab fare. Incident 3: Pickup to ONT on 3/17/2016 I had a confirmed reservation to be picked up at home between 5:20pm and 5:35pm. Since the driver did not contact me (neither by text, voice call, or by ringing the door bell), I called Supershuttle 3 minutes past the pickup window, i.e., at 5:38pm, only to found out that the driver had been in front of my house at 5:28pm and had since left. The agent told me that my only option would be to hire a private cab service as the driver could not go back and pick me up. I escalated the matter to the callcenter supervisor Bob, who told me that my phone number was listed as "international," although my email confirmation (attached to this email) clearly states a standard US number. Finally, the agent indicates that the driver had no obligation to contact me. This was clearly not communicated in the email confirmation that I had received after making my booking. That message stressed that I would NOT be required to take additional action and that all I needed to do would be to be "ready" at the beginning of the pickup window, which I was! No mentioning of having to wait on the curb, which I have also never witnessed other passengers do on my previous trips with Supershuttle. So, in sum, my experiences point to systematic service failure by Supershuttle. Get a lyft or uber instead. This "super shuttle" service is fake news....and definitely far from 'super' ("Super Horrible Shuttle would be 100% more appropriate.") They don't show up to get you, even if you had a reservation. In addition, if you'd like to contact someone to get an ETA for your ride, forget it. If you do have to call them, plan on being transferred back and forth and spending a while on hold waiting for them to figure out who can pretend to help you. Do not use this company unless you have all night to wait at the airport for your reserved shuttle to pick you up. Apparently you have to check in at a kiosk-- that doesn't exist. If I could give Super Shuttle negative stars for their service on the morning of April 22, 2017, I would. So very disappointed that morning because I have used Super Shuttle for 2 years prior to this bad experience and never had issues. My red-eye business flight arrived back from Hawaii at around 3:45 at LAX. My Pre-booked Super Shuttle Van (booked at least 2 weeks prior) never turned up, I was stranded at the curbside of LAX arrivals for nearly 3 hours! (the sun came up). I happened to find the Super Shuttle Supervisor van parked at the curbside at around 4:50 am, and the supervisor was sleeping in the vehicle. I woke her up, shared by Super Shuttle struggles of "not being picked up", and she responded "I will see if we have a van available".. So obviously I was like..."Whaa? if a van is available? that I pre-booked and confirmed 2 -weeks in advance???" So...meanwhile, after she drove off to look for vans it got even more spontaneous. 3 vans past be up. One driver stopped and asked me what my issue was. and I told him that I had been standing there for over 2 hours, and I wasn't getting picked up...and he decided to step on the gas while saying "sorry I can't help you!" So needless to describe how tired, appalled and upset I was (as the sun rose), I decided to call the Super Shuttle Los Angeles dispatch to figure out what was going on. Of course I will admit, I was slightly yelling on the phone at this point because of the circus I was experiencing at LAX, the Super Shuttle Dispatch person was probably the rudest person I had ever spoken to. He gave me attitude over the phone (I mean like gnarly attitude) and hung up on me! Anyways long story short, after desperate phone calls and flagging vans down (by this time my business suit was wet under my arms with anger sweat), they sent a van 3 hours after the fact, and on the way home, we must have made 3000 stops and circles to drop off others before I finally got home to my wife and children, around 10 :00 am near Green River Road. Wow, never have I experienced such rude, and demeaning treatment from a company in my entire life. For @#$% sake! The Chicago CTA, New York MTA or LA METRO had never been this bad! These people at Super Shuttle left me stranded curbside for 3 hours! and 3 vans past me up! and ooo so rude was dispatch! I will never take them again as long as I can help it. This is the WORST airport shuttle service I've ever used. I made a reservation to be picked up at Ontario Airport weeks in advance. However, I waited an hour and a half for my shuttle to show up and it never arrived. I could not reach the company by telephone, online, or through their app. Their airport agent had already gone home. I finally had to take a taxi at a significant cost. On Tuesday, October 16, 2018, one half hour before I was supposed to be picked up by this company's van, I received a phone call from them saying they could not pick me up to take me to the airport. I asked if they could offer me an alternative and they said could not and suggested that I call uber or lyft. Being that this was the first time I had visited the area and was alone in the apartment I was visiting because my hosts had already gone to work, I was in a panic and told the super shuttle employee that I had never used these services before. He had nothing to say to that. I only wish that I had read some of the reviews about this company before I made the reservation with them. read more

But in our return we checked in as directed, and got a text that our driver was waiting, but no one arrived. 2 other parties were also waiting at the SuperShuttle podium with the same confusion. I called customer service and the rep acted like it was my fault! Did you check in? Yes. Did you go to the SuperShuttle Podium? yes. Have you talked with Customer Service at the podium? There's no one at the podium... except unhappy travelers. The 800# rep found our reservation and called dispatch, who could not locate our driver or offer an ETA. I asked what she could do to compensate us for the inconvenience and she suggested I go on their website and offer my feedback. We've been traveling for 12 hours with two small children who are hungry and tried. Leave a comment on your website???? Totally unacceptable. In the end, I cancelled our shuttle (refund up to 5 biz days!!), and called a family member to come 40 mins and pick us up. Purchased round trip to Ontario Airport from home in Upland. Trip to airport was great, driver was early and got us to airport on time. Returning from trip was another matter. Will never use them again. Flight was delayed and I notified SuperShuttle they said no problem. We were scheduled to arrive 8:30pm but arrived at 1:30a.m. shuttle was not there so I called. After long time on hold I was told they were looking for a driver. Luckily there was taxi there, cancelled shuttle and paid for taxi. Got home at 2:45am. read more

My daughter went on a trip with her school and the advisor rented a shuttle for pick up and drop off. They arrived at the airport and no one showed up. After being assured someone would be on the way no one showed up. After a few additional calls the adviser was told no one would be coming to pick them up. Pickup to go to Ontario airport was okay... Driver was on time and ride was without incident. The trip going home was a nightmare. My flight landed at 11:30 pm. I had requested a pickup at 11:50pm. I followed the email directions to go to the shuttle kiosk to check in with an attendant... And nobody was there. After several minutes, another passenger showed up who had received a text reminder for pickup (i never received one) and a van showed up eventually (12:10). The driver offered me a ride if I would allow him to drop off the other passenger in Redlands first... About 30 minutes in the opposite direction of my home (1 hour+ detour!!!). After I complained, he drove to the next terminal and another van took the other passenger to Redlands and we headed to drop me off. The driver seemed friendly enough, although he and his co-pilot (wife?) did not seem happy to have sent the other passenger on the other van (work on commission?). The ride home was a bit nerve wracking... We had trouble staying in one lane, with the van lurching around the road and straddling lanes. We also got lost more than once while using GPS. Driver was having trouble following along. I tried to give him manual directions but he really insisted on trying to follow the flawed directions. We eventually made it to my home. Bottom line, I will not be using super shuttle again. There are other much better services that actually show up to pick you up when promised and do door to door service for only slightly more. read more

My pick-up window was 2:30 - 2:45. At 2:50 they called me to say no vans were in my area, so my reservation was cancelled. I had a reservation, they didn't arrange to honor that, and waited until after my pickup time to let me know. It was a scramble for me to find an alternative way to get to the airport in time for my flight. This is absolutely the worst shuttle experience I have ever had. We ordered 3 shuttles and waited for over an hour to get the first one. The second shuttle DID NOT arrive. We were told that it was on a loop and it "could be 15 minutes, could be an hour" according to Clarita on the phone. It is ridiculous that this company does not provide accurate information to customers. There is no point in making a reservation when there is no guarantee that your shuttle will be there. It was a waste of both our time and money. Additionally, once we got in the car, the driver (the SAME driver that had taken the first half of our group) found the whole situation comical. Do NOT book this service if your plane lands after 11:45pm. Despite accepting my reservation and prepayment for pickup at 12:30am, the shuttle never showed, stranding my mom and me and at least one other passenger at ONT. Thankfully a line of cab drivers were available to take us to our destination. They warned us that Super Shuttle doesn't operate past 11:45pm and finding people stranded at the curb was a nightly occurrence. I was able to receive a refund after calling customer service, filing a claim and following up with the Customer Advocacy Department. read more
