My gf and I were craving birria tacos so I chose this spot based on reviews. We were not disappointed! I ordered the birria plate with rice and beans, two asada tacos on the side. My gf ordered quesa birria tacos with consome. The birria meat for the plate was a bit dry as it lacked consome but I was able to use the consome from my gfs taco plate. I ordered a coke and Jamaica drink, which was a bit too sweet. $11 for two drinks , food was amazing. Will come again! read more

It was really good. The beans and rice were perfect in texture. The rice didn't seem like it had salt but it was still good.

Stopped by this morning, everything was insanely good and very fresh! I had the carnitas and chicken hard tacos. The shell was super light and crispy, which is hard to get right; theirs is outstanding. And the carne asada burrito could make a grown man cry with tears of joy. Nope! Yet to find a good Mexican restaurant near me. I'm Mexican, so I know Mexican food. Drove by this place and decided to to order something quick to give it a try. Place is cute and lady that took my order was friendly. Wanted to order a shredded beef crunchy taco. Was told they only had chicken or pork. First red flag, but went for the chicken. Quite possibly the worst I've ever had. The chicken had ABSOLUTELY NO FLAVOR. I mean none! It was just a blank piece of chicken with lettuce, cheese and crema. SHAMEFUL!! read more

Ate at Super Taco yesterday and all I have to say is WOW. Everything about it was excellent. The customer service was very friendly and I got the feeling that they really tried to give excellent customer service. The were the best I have ever had. And they explained each item so I understood exactly what I was ordering. I do wish they had fountain drinks, I prefer soda from a fountain with a cup and ice. But this was not a big deal. The restaurant was very very clean and the bathroom was spotless clean ( this is super important ). So overall I will be back for sure. Tacos were terrible. The chicken taco was really dry. There were bits that were like eating straw it was so dry. The Beef wasn't as bad but still dry. The salsa bar had no cups so u could get salsa. AND THEY CLOSE AT 5PM! Who opens at 7 am and closes at 5pm and is closed 2 days a week and expects to stay in business? They brought out a few cups for 1 customer toget salsa and didn't bring out any to leave out for the rest of us customers. Really not great customer service. I ordered a burrito as well. It was average. As far as quality I give it a 2 out of 10. As far as taste I give it a 3. Customer Service a 3. With a Mexican restaurant on every block, WHY would you not do better?? There's NO point in eating here when there's so much more to choose from with better quality. In fact, I'd rather go to Del Taco next door, at least there, the meat isn't dry, the taste is a 7, and it's half the price! Can't rave enough about the amazing food and service !!! Alex was very attentive and helpful with the suggestions, drinks and he even went to the table and brings us a sauce to try. My husband had been here before and he keep telling me about it and I finally got the chance to - I been missing the best taco & service in town- also the girl that was at the the seating area was super friendly and make genuinely nice conversation and suggest a great dish to try next time .... Very friendly staff and they have decorated the place up and installed a few flat screen TVs inside. The outdoor patio looks really nice and weather permitting, it would be a lovely spot to dine. You order at the counter and then take a number to your table. Restrooms clean. Ordered a cheese quesadilla, Carnitas hardshell taco and a quesa birria taco. All 3 were really good. Salsa bar limited to 3 sauces, but they were fine. Only reason they did not get 5 stars was that the refried beans while creamy and cooked correctly, were too salty. We mentioned it to the staff and they took note. Will definitely return. read more

What a great new addition to the Palm Springs/Cathedral City area. I went there and had a great meal. Prices are very reasonable and it is family owned and operated. I take the time to review ONLY if the place meets my taste buds needs...because afterall that is what Im here for, the FOOD. I discovered this wonderful quaint spot 8 years ago when we first moved out here. The menu is small but for good reason. Every single item is scrumptious. I grew up in South L.A. and we know our Mexican food out there. This place has Authentic tasting Mexican food, the kind moms and grandmas make at home. You know the finger licking good kind!
