Carne Asada plate and 6 tacos - fish, steak, and pork
    Nicole L.

We really only come to Super Tacos Moy because it's close to Low Daily, but I'm grateful to have good Mexican food that's quick, cheap, and easy to take out. We usually get the tacos, but this time we got the Carne Asada meal, and it came with grilled cactus, grilled scallions, grilled jalapeño (way too spicy), rice and beans, and of course all their normal salsas. This is definitely one of my favorite meals that I've ever had from here. It also looked pretty bouncing in there when we went to go pick up our food last time (usually I make my boyfriend to it LOL), but I would definitely consider actually dining in if it wasn't just super busy night.

We walked in and the place is super small - about the size of a bathroom. There was a line at the door. When we were seated at a table it took awhile for our waitress to come over. I was disappointed they only had original and mango margarita- no other flavors. I then tired to order a sangria which they didn't have "the mix for". I then ordered a mango margarita on the rocks. My husband ordered four fish tacos. There was hardly any fish on the tacos. I ordered tacos Al pastor. My tacos were okay; a lot of fat on the meat. I was told my bill was $51 something and then my receipt came and it said was $64 something..... like WTF

Amazing authentic Mexican food. The service is sometimes slow due to be a small family run business. However you will not be disappointed.

Plenty of parking space. Restaurant is spacious and clean. We had a very early dinner so we were able to choose our table. Not many customers but by the time we finished eating, more people came in. Pleasantly surprised to be served Ceviché, salsa, and chips right away since we did not order it. Even better, it was complimentary. Nice touch!! Had the Cantaritos Special. Great presentation!! It's a fruit drink with Tajín and Tamarind. A mini bottle of Tequila is laced with what tasted like Chamoy. It was delicious!! My new favorite drink!! Our food was delivered quickly. We ordered the Shrimp Empanadas with Mozzarella Cheese. Intrigued as I thought it was a weird combination. What an excellent pairing!! Generous portions of Shrimp and gooey Mozzarella Cheese dipped in a sauce that tasted like Thousand Island Dressing. So good!! My husband ordered the Huachinango Diabla. Crispy Red Snapper on the outside and moist, flaky on the inside. Diabla sauce complimented the fish very well. Mild and a touch of sweetness. I had the Mendigo Special. Wow!! So much depth of flavor in the savory soup that had generous portions of seafood; octopus, shrimp, and crab (imitation). Topping of cilantro, onions, and avocado all enhanced the already flavorful soup. The dish comes with this buttery, soft, warm bread to soak up the delicious soup. I would definitely recommend and will be coming back soon as everything tasted so delicious!!

I tried a Citrine martini and it was ice cold with fresh lemon -- yum. My dining companion had a seasonal tap brew and the perch fish fry; he ate every bite! I had to try the shrimp and grits. It's not something you see on the menu every day in Wisconsin, but I have a love for it from trips down South... And they nailed it. Fragrant with garlic and generously portioned, it had a brothy, exquisite base. It makes my mouth water to recall! We will return for some of the other delicious items on the menu. Plenty of beautiful side dishes, omelet station, and other tasty dishes, complimented them! Bottomless mimosas on the house! If you had room, which I didn't, the pastry assortment was outstanding. Ambience was cools and laid back at night, there was some soft jazz playing. Order 2 jerk salmon burgers and some wings with the "crab it your way" sauce. Flavor was on point for both. Wings were delicious and super crispy, just like I ordered. The burgers, although they were good, they were small for $18. Fries were decent, but a bit on the greasy side. Took 2 stars off because we waited 45 minutes for our food, when we were told 20 minutes, the burgers were small for the price and they charge an automatic 18% gratuity even for carry out ( I don't mind dine in). Also the girl at the front didn't seem too knowledgeable about the menu. Although I'm not a big fan of The Q, I would definitely go back for Crab It Your Way. Family & Crab is conveniently located right off Grand Ave and has been beautifully renovated to a modern restaurant with a seafood theme. We visited right when the restaurant opened and the place was super clean. Since we were there to celebrate a birthday, we ordered one of the family platters consisting of crab legs, shrimp, sausage, corn and potatoes. For a party of six we had more than enough food. We easily could've had two more people with us for a platter this size. The sauce was delicious as well and ranges in spice level. I will say that the seasoning was quite heavy so it was a bit on the saltier side while I prefer a heavy garlic flavor, but overall nothing to complain about. The kitchen seemed to be very accommodating so if you just told them how you prefer your sauce and seasoning I'm sure it won't be an issue. We also ordered the fried oysters as an appetizer and a simple veggie fried rice to go with the boil. The fried oysters were perfectly crisp and came out hot. I will say that the breading is more flaky, kind of like a tempura. The oyster itself was not overcooked or chewy either. Service was wonderful and super helpful at explaining the menu and what was recommended. She even brought us a complimentary cheesecake slice for the birthday celebrant. Overall, this was a great experience and I highly recommend for anyone craving seafood boil in the area to save yourself the drive and come here!
