Huge store with all their clothes organized by color within their categories. It's a big store so obviously there will be a little bit of a mess, but the bigger issue was me going through every single piece since there's just so much! Easily could've spent 2 hrs in here. Checkout was quick, they take card, and Sandra was very sweet during the process. Also, they seem to have lots of sales on top of what I believe are to be pretty reasonable prices. Walked out with 11 shirts (including a blazer and a flannel) for $27. For someone who doesn't thrift, I'm pretty excited. Parking lot is pretty decent for a thrift store (located all the way in the back) and was surprisingly full for 1 PM on a weekday, but now I know why. I have become a real fashionista. You name it, I have found it at this store. I have bought jeans, t-shirts, shoes, sports jackets, dress shirts, hats, sweaters, suits, leather jackets etc. I have found electronics, books, records, jewelery, watches, wallets, treadmill, household items, etc. I am always surprised by my newest discovery. This is a fantastic store. Very neatly arranged. Clothes are hung by color and item. Easy to find what you're looking for. Prices are very reasonable. I love to shop here for costumes for plays. So many interesting pieces. Clothing, bedding, towels, purses, shoes, scarves, children's clothes, jewelry, menswear, evening wear, coats, suits, jackets, sweater, everything. Shop till u drop! I am typically weary of going to thrift shops anywhere in LA given how picked over and overpriced they are but this place is a neat little gem. I currently reside on the west side and every few weeks Ill take an adventure out to the SF valley to check out the thrift stores and more frequently than not I find myself returning with a new favorite shop. I have a great allegiance to valley value though at times I experience it to be crowded and chaotic and that was not my experience at all here. Parking was a breeze, the store was practically empty and the staff was friendly. I ended up spending about twenty minutes in the store and left with a vintage LL Bean jacket (five bucks) and a few mugs that were about a dollar each. I am typically someone who comes on a mission and that being said, I crave order. This store was incredibly well organized and clean ( at least for a thrift store). All of the prices were clearly marked and competitive compared to other thrift stores (I.e. goodwill and Salvation Army). If you're coming to super thrift store searching for newer and "consignment" type items I would continue looking and suggest checking out one of the many (overpriced) goodwills throughout LA. I almost hate to share this one cuz a good thrift store that's not too picked over is hard to find. Too many hipsters on to a place and it's killed. I would've given this place four stars but I spent an exhausting hour walking in the sun to get to this place all because of bad directions, so that tends to color my perception. It's out of the way so I'm not sure I'd be back but I definitely did see CHEAP gems here, like the calfskin Bebe pink skirt and those shoes that fit me perfectly despite being scuffed up. It wasn't crowded per se, but there was definitely light hostility in the air to get to certain items before your competition did. I think next time I'll leave super early in the morning and get here when they open so I can shop and leave before the afternoon crowd comes by. LOVE IT. I'm an Ebayer and avid thrifter with a keen eye for style and good taste. I always find gems here and often struggle with trying not to spend too much money. I've sold things on Ebay I found here for over 100% profit mark-up. I definitely was hesitant about yelping this as I consider it a thrifting gem. I've read some of the bad reviews about them not having good items but all I can say is that if you know good style, you will find something. Parking sucks, staff is ok. Sometimes you see hipsters. One lady who worked there tried to jack me for a really cool vintage picture/painting that had a cameo profile of a man in a top hat that read "HOMME" but could be considered very hip or cool or read like "HOMIE" if you're down or into that kinda thing. I had brought it to her for a price check and she tried to take it from me and say they couldn't sell it to me! She even tucked it away behind the counter. I inquired with the manager and she immediately priced it to me for .99cents! A total come up! It's hanging on my bathroom wall as I type. At the checkout, the same lady that tried to lie and jack me was straight eyeballing the painting to see how much I got it for. SMH. Kinda funny though. It's organized in here, which feels good when going through the sections. Cheap prices, especially for their clothing (compared with Goodwill, which I had gone to right before coming here). Most clothes are in great shape. So many options to choose from. They even have another room I didn't get to explore since I was on a time crunch and needed to B-line to the women's dresses. One of the last places in the valley where you can find great vintage items at thrift store prices. Not that great. Not great selection, prices slightly lower than elsewhere but who cares when they don't have good stuff? No dressing room and no returns or exchanges. Not a big fan of unwatched kids running between you and the clothing racks either. I'm a "roughing it" kinda of gal but I felt downright unsafe as I walked the loong walk back to the dimly lit parking lot-- especially as creepy guys had been saying things to me in Spanish in the store. Went in this place for the first time yesterday and I'm already aching to go back. The place is huge and the merchandise was surprisingly well organized for a Saturday afternoon. There was a great selection. I'm a plus size gal and thrift store shopping can be disappointing, but this place was full of bigger sizes. I picked up three amazing pieces for less than $20. The prices were very, very reasonable Their furniture selection was small, but the pieces they had seemed to mostly be new. The stuff that was older was great. Whoever picks through it before it hits the floor does a great job. I think on Wednesdays everything is 25% off in the morning. That's when I'll be back. This is a large thrift store located in a scary part of San Fernando Valley. Although I would highly suggest locking your doors and rolling up your windows in the lot behind this store, it's still well worth the visit. It loses a star for the neighborhood and the kind of crowd it attracts--mainly people who tear apart the racks and leave a wake of disaster behind them. However, Super Thrift earns a star for its completely eclectic collection of items. The huge open expanse you enter through the front doors is the clothing selection, split pretty evenly down the middle between men's and women's clothing. Plus size items are sequestered to the far side of the room and trinkets line the walls. Lose yourself in sifting through such treasures because these items are generally the true "good buys." Their clothing can be hit or miss, and to be honest, it misses more often than not. Rejects of synthetic fibers from the 80s and 90s make up most of the collection and shoulder pads run rampant. Finding designer clothing here would be an absolute trick because I'm not sure anyone with the budget for such items lives within reasonable driving radius. But as I said before, the clothes are not the reason to come to Super Thrift--it's the loot. Relics of Christmas past lie forgotten on overcrowded shelves, waiting to be plucked up for dandy prices. I saw a polaroid camera price at $4 (but I left it: film cartridges usually run about $20 nowadays). In the room behind the large clothing room, housewares, books, children's clothes and games abound. It can be mistaken for a back warehouse from afar, but don't be shy. Back there, I found a mirror with a great vintage frame for $3, and board games for $1 and $2. Although the selection is large, it can be rather overwhelming. It can be disorganized, especially because clothing items can be found in many different areas, with some lack of order. Very local Thrifty for me so of course I hit it up. I first discovered this spot when I was on my way to a bar right across the street. Very industrial street by the way. Super lonely and hidden too. You wouldn't think there is a thrift store here. Yet alone, people. This is the epitome of a store that's in a hole in the wall. Any who, this location is pretty big in size. I came to the conclusion that I better brace myself for a either a good purchase, or a very dry trip. You can tell when they've re'd up or when they're basically out of options. The very little furniture that they have is good in price but they don't have a wide selection. 3 out of 7 items have been there forever. Their clothing is not always the greatest. I've came across a bunch of raggedy items like a floral top with uneven colors or a XXXS see-through top. You can tell that the people that came to donate their things had a very horrible taste back in the 90's. So in other words, there is nothing I can relate to when it comes to dressing up my upper body -_- I mainly come here for their denim. They have a good selection of jean shorts and jeans that you can rip up and make it your own. SCORE! This place was disappointing- it's in a sketchy industrial area on a busy street with unsavory characters staring...While the store is big, it didn't seem to have anything of note- the name brand jeans they had were marked at $18.99 and were well worn, there's racks and racks of clothing and I didn't go through them all so there could be some good finds, but the vibe of the place doesn't encourage you to linger. For the sparse glassware selection, it appears there was a glass bong among the run of the mill plates and glasses. It definitely wasn't worth the trek here and there's nothing else to look at in the area, which borders Van Nuys. Won't be returning! read more

Definitely one of the best thrift stores in the Los Angeles area. For a 20something like me who is into fashion but likes clothes that have a history and are half the price. This is the ideal stop. A giant selection of women's clothing, all in good condition! My favorite section is their women's suits. They have the matching separates that are so in right now but that are from the past 20 years. Also they have a huge kitchen section! With a lot of used plate,pans, and pots. Very nice stuff. Love this place! I actually can get lost in here for hours rooting through the racks. So give yourself at least 2 hours. Have purchased many unique clothes from tv shows that are new with tags or maybe were worn once on the set. Shoe section is great as well. Skirts/Dresses section is abundant & fun. So many great prices for nice clothes. You'll be there for hours looking through all of the racks of clothes. You'll probably buy more than what you came for. The downside is that they only have one dressing room and the time I went they were unusable for customers for some reason so I couldn't try on any of the clothes which sucked but it is definitely worth shopping here if you are on a budget or just like to shop cheap :) read more

This store is very large and with patience, one will find excellent clothing. The clothing is organized by color and sections making it easy to find what you are looking for. My issues with the store are lack of parking and no fitting rooms. I had to find a secluded part of the store to try on several tops. Ensure your items have price tags because they will not sell items without a price tag. I found two blazers that did not have a price tag and was unable to purchase them. I was crushed because they were exactly what I was looking for. They offered to price the items for me, but I would need to come the following day. As thrift shops go, it's OK but not great. I used to go here often (every weekend), now I only go occasionally (if even that often - maybe once every couple of months). What's good about it? * Its well organized (usually). You can also generally find something nice here. What's not great? * Recently their prices have inched up to the wishful thinking category for items they got for free. Sadly, they won't learn anything from this because there's always people who will pay the price no matter how ridiculous and expensive they are. * Maneuvering in their parking lot is a gamble - they never sweep the parking lot so there's usually broken glass there. It's quite narrow to just drive through. Added excitement are the huge dumpsters they sprinkle throughout blocking much needed room. The parking spots themselves are quite narrow too. It helps that many of the shoppers have no idea how to park or what those lines mean taking up multiple spots. * Recently when I have gone it's looked like a hurricane blew through the store. Items all over the place, on the floor, thrown over the rack, lots of stuff on the floor, etc. Is there no one there who straightens up? Wait, I know the answer, the answer is no one straightens up. Not unless they have to because the boss tells them so. Where's the boss? * Lastly and this is the big one -- the IQ of the cashiers is going down (which is an impressive accomplishment). I am not being mean. But the last time I went the cashier ACTUALLY ARGUED WITH ME that the sign on both cash registers letting customers know what items were on sale, was not current. Really? The sign that says this Friday and Saturday (and it was Saturday) isn't current? She really had no idea. Saying that those items were not 1/2 off. But yet no one took the signs down. Even after our discussion she STILL didn't take the signs down. Why leave signs that's are wrong up? Fortunately I didn't have any of those colored tags but seriously it was very upsetting that she really didn't have a clue, didn't want to have a clue, and thought it a good idea to antagonize the customer. I'll give her credit, she pretended to call for the manager - but no one ever answered nor did anyone ever come up to the front. I wonder how many customers you are losing because of her. So I give this place two thumbs sideways... If you really want to go to a thrift shop, its OK. Maybe your experience will be better than mine. Or maybe not. Again I used to go here often -- recently, its really taken a nose dive in quality and customer service. I love this thrift store so much!! It's huge and filled with so many goodies!!! The whole back room is for kids which is huge too. On certain days they do markdowns and you can end up getting clothes for 50 cents or a dollar. I go to this store like once a week to see what I can find and the staff is always super nice. read more
