Visited: 4/11/16 Cold Noodles ($9.99) = 10/10 It was prepared right in front of us by the employee (Andy), who also checked in about any substitutions (like peanuts or garlic) and our spice preference. It was easily our favorite dish as it had a great flavor and really satisfying texture from the noodles! I was already full, but it was so good I couldn't stop eating. Homemade Soybean Milk ($2.99) = 10/10 Fresh, flavorful, and served quickly! New Orleans Chicken Sandwich ($10.99) + Fries & Drink Combo ($4.99) = 8.5/10 The chicken was fresh, juicy, and well-seasoned. Unlike the typical fast food-style patty, this is a real cut of chicken, which makes a big difference in texture and flavor. I just wish the bun was a little more toasted so it matched the chicken better and brought everything together more, but it was still great! The combo is an extra charge, but the fries were solid and you get to choose your drink. We went with the Lotte Milkis Banana Soda, which ended up being a great pick. Service = 10/10 Andy really stood out and gave amazing customer service! He was super accommodating and attentive even though we came in about an hour before closing (2 AM). He made sure we had a great dine-in experience and even gave us to-go menus. Pricing: Everything felt well-priced for the quality and portions! Parking: There's a spacious, designated parking lot outside, so parking wasn't an issue.

Hot dry noodles are delicious. I love their food the most. Their food is very delicious, and the fried chicken is crispy--absolutely amazing.

Came here for breakfast today as it's one of the few places in Irvine that are open around 9:00am. No one was there except us. We ordered: 1) wonton noodle soup - this was probably the best dish we ordered this morning as I enjoyed the wontons, broth was good but salty. You can ask to add noodles in the broth if you want 2) gyozas - 7 pcs - husband said it was just ok 3) pork baozi - 6 pcs - thought we were getting only 2 buns but ended up getting 6 buns in a steamer! Wow. Tastes pretty good. 4) pork soup dumplings - flavorless and skin fell apart at the bottom of each dumpling, def need to dip in soy sauce or vinegar 5) millet rice with pumpkin chunks - big portion, no flavor but you can add your own toppings Only 1 staff on site to cook and take your order. She was very friendly and attentive.

A fantastic late night place! I came in with a group and the service is amazing! The food is really good, authentic flavors and large portions! It is a mix of street foods and regular spicy dishes. The ambiance is really warm and welcoming, bright.

Don't bother with this place. What a JOKE!

Only thing good was the pan fried beef. Service was terrible! They forget items and we waited for a while. It took so long we decided to leave and pay I asked them to remove a missing item it from my bill cause we never got it. They LIED and said it was almost ready (2min they said). If we never checked the bill we would have been charged for it, ALWAYS CHECK YOUR BILL. Wasted another 10 min of my life only to get that SAD excuse of a food (how you see it is how it was given to us), literally threw that shit in the trash. WILL NOT GO BACK HERE.

Wow the food here is SO delicious!! We came for dinner and the owner was very nice and hospitable. We ordered the grilled fish which comes in a dry pot (you can add veggies in there). Mild spicy was perfect for us - the fish itself is insanely tender and soaked up the flavorful sauce. They were very generous with the amount of cabbage we added on. We also ordered the cold noodles (Liang pi) which I highly recommend - definitely the best Liang pi I have had in the states!!

This is the pork soup dumplings

The people here are great and the food is even better and they're open till three. You don't get homemade food like this unless you go to BCD it's the only other option but this might be better as you have more options

This was an overall good experience. The dumplings weren't too bad, but they lacked any soup inside. However the chicken was juicy, crispy and amazing. And we noticed that there were stacks and stacks of hilariously distorted Labubus all around the restaurant

Ya'll the owner is SOOOO kind, generous and really cares for his business and you can tell by how catering he is. Everything is sooo LEGIT. Definitely beats Din Tai Fung in price and deliciousness. Also for dessert they have Kokonut!!

Good food. Excellent customer service. Will come back next time. Fish grill is big portion compare to other place. Price is great. Overall good experience.

This place is awesome! Food is delicious they sell so many kind of food so many choices you can choose from. The owner Andy is always super nice and fun to talk to. The service is great, and they stay open very late, which makes it a great spot for late-night visits. The prices are cheap and fair. Overall, it's always a great experience.

    Grilled fish hot pot

My friend and I had a wonderful dining experience at Super Yummy in Irvine! The grilled fish hot pot was absolutely superb--very tender and exquisitely flavorful. It reminded me of baked fish in a perfectly seasoned spicy sauce. We added lots of extras like vegetables, tofu, mushrooms, and other delicious add-ons, which made it even better. My personal favorite was the wide glass noodles (drunken noodles) -- they soaked up the flavor so well. We also ordered the soup dumplings, and I loved them. The flavor was rich and authentic, definitely some of the best I've had The entire experience was much better than I anticipated. The restaurant is small and cozy, and it came highly recommended by locals, who said this is the place for fish hot pot and authentic soup dumplings -- and they were absolutely right. I was truly impressed. Highly recommend this place if you're in Irvine!

The lamb skewers were juicy and perfectly seasoned with cumin, and the grilled beef tendon skewers had an amazing crispy, chewy texture. We also tried the beef paomo for the first time--it was warm, comforting, and packed with rich flavor. The prices were a little bit more expensive than I would have preferred but they do give generous servings. We ordered stir fried string beans, orange chicken, crispy beef, and salt and pepper fish filet. My least favorite was the crispy beef, mostly because it didn't even taste like I was eating much. I probably should have gotten a different beef dish, otherwise everything else was pretty good. They have a robot delivering food to the tables. They do have someone at the front desk area if you have any questions or need hot water for teas.

I went to the A&J in SGV over a decade ago and was thrilled there is one in Irvine. They have the usual Taiwanese staples like nu rou mian (beef noodle soup), beef roll, and green onion pancake but they're done exceptionally well and have abundant portions. Bonus for me is they have a very cheap zhua bing, which I don't usually see on menus. The Beijing style meat pie / hand pie was absolute fire and should be enjoyed immediately upon serving when it's still burning hot. It's sold by the each so you'll have to buy multiple if you're dining with people since I'll can't split one with all the e juicy broth inside. They have other basic items like Chinese zhajiangmein (perfect for kiddos) and lots of other noodle dishes. Avoid the potstickers -- something was really off with the flavor th3 day I went and I usually don't turn away fried dumplings. Plenty of parking!

Good value too. 139 beef wrap - 3/5 - This is the chinese pancake surrounding overcooked beef that you can get anywhere. Thankfully they didn't use too much cilantro like other places. It was dry. I would not order it again. Needs a sauce too. The vinegar from the table wasn't helping. 137 1000layer pancake - 3/5 This was made fresh and it's puffy! ---probably exactly what it's supposed to be. It, too, needs a special sauce. There just is no flavor by itself. Plus, I only counted 900 layers. Just kidding. I would skip next time. The service here is great. Food comes out fast.

From what I understood, you're supposed to mix all the toppings into the soup with the noodles, but even after doing that, I still felt like the flavor was lacking. Yes, they provide seasoning on the side, but personally, I wish the broth already had enough flavor on its own without needing to adjust it myself. Would I come back? Probably not.
