The first time I got a long crack on the driver side and the second time I had a rock chip near the middle of my windshield. I have a 2011 BMW where apparently a rock hit the tinted part of my driver's side windshield and I went to the car to find about an 8" crack that quickly spread. I found Le-Bron online with great reviews. The insurance company's vendor told me I had to replace the whole windshield, then couldn't schedule me for 2-3 days and I was not prepared to pay such a hefty price. I'm so glad I took it to Le-Bron's shop. His craftsmanship is 'superb' because there is a very slight seam where the crack used to be, but that is expected since it is a repair and was not a windshield replacement. Two days ago a rock hit my windshield and chipped it. It looked like a spiderweb. My car is a lease and close to the turn in date and I freaked out. I immediately began calling the typical mobile glass repair shops in my area to get quotes. The three places I called said they would do the repair but gave me the disclaimer that, while they can repair it, I will still be able to see the crack. Well, as my car is a lease, I was worried about my end of lease inspection. I then found Superb Windshield Repair. The website was extremely informative, the prices were even on the website. Not many places are that transparent. I called the number and Mr. Blanton himself picked up the phone. He obviously began asking questions about the crack: is it a chip or a crack, how large is the chip, where is it located on the windshield? These questions are important because not all chips are the same! I texted him a picture of the chip and was amazed that he could have given me an appointment that afternoon had I not had a booked schedule. I opted for coming in after work the following day. He texted me instructions on how to find him. He is located in the parking garage of one of the Cobb Gallery buildings. Don't let that fool you. This place is legit. His work place is clean, well lit, and extremely professional. Mr. Blanton takes pride in his craft and it shows. He has many, many years of experience and knows what he is talking about with windshield repair. In fact, he is the only one in the area that does what he does the way that he does it. He even saw another chip that I had and repaired that as well for less than I expected. I will admit that I was expecting to have the repair completed and still see the chip. No sir! While in certain angles, and knowing where to look, you will see a slight blemish (it is a repair not a replacement), it is no where near the broken glass, spiderweb chip that was there. I actually had a couple of friends try to find the chip and they couldn't! The process did take a bit longer than calling a mobile repair company, however, you will not be disappointed in his service and work. He takes his time to make sure that he does the best repair and satisfy his customer. His attention to detail is amazing. Plus, he backs up his work with a two year guarantee. Even told me that he would stand by his work and be present during my lease inspection if need be. I appreciate that!
