Matcha lemonade and Cold brew with whole milk
    Stephanie S.

Delicious! Highly recommend their matcha lemonade and their cold brew with whole milk. Service was great and the indoor outdoor concept of their patio is super cute and great for summer! I love me a patio with lots of light! Excited to try their food next time.

WHEN: Fri @10:30am PRO: + They have their own parking lot with free parking + Plenty of seating, both indoors and outdoors + Variety of food, pastries, and drinks + Free WiFi + 2 Restrooms CON: - Some seatings me be directly in the sun - Limited to no outlets to charge devices Overall, I think this is a great place to get work done as long as you bring your own back up battery.

First time and probably the last time. Pricy. The mocha latte was so so, better when i added a sugar packet, but served in such a small cup. Another pricy item when I ordered a roasted chicken sandwich which unexpectedly was cold and came sandwiched between untrusted bread (not sure if that's supposed to be served that way). The egg salad sandwich was better. At least there was a small parking lot. The interior is nice. They also have outdoor seating available. The guy in the army shirt was nice and had good customer service. Meanwhile the blond lady in the purple shirt was curt, not rude but should not belong up front at the register.

Love the atmosphere and open design, or according to my 4 year old, "BEAUTIFUL." Yummy reasonable coffee and according to my four year old, the orange juice is "GOOD ." Very friendly customer service. Great place to grab a quick or long coffee with a friend or kid.

Words cannot even begin to describe how much I love this place. Not only do they have the best Matcha latte in town but their customer service is *chef's kiss*. I always feel so welcomed and cared for when I come in. Ivan and Jason and the entire crew are absolute rockstars and make this place so special. It's also got the cutest decor and outdoor seating that's perfect for catching up with a friend or a study session. My only complaint is I wish they stayed open longer! Other than that, it's stellar coffee spot and worth visiting whenever you're in the Pasadena area. Cheers

Love this neighborhood gem! I come for the best egg salad sandos and espresso, aaaand cuz the folks who work here are lovely. They balance quick and personal--Isabel was the first to remember my name each visit and set the tone. Jason brings the most enthusiasm and is always taking care of details, like making sure tables are spotless. Noah is calm and kind, shooing a visiting June bug out the window rather than squishing it (truly cementing my loyalty to Superba). And Alex will wax philosophical about life and music without missing a (service) beat.

I love this spot! I come here all the time to get breakfast and sometimes lunch to-go for work. The staff are the absolute best -- Isabell always puts a smile on my face and seems to remember everyone! I've tried almost everything on the menu by now and have never been disappointed. They always make a solid latte and their pastries are fresh baked daily. Very dog-friendly, indoor / outdoor cafe seating. My Frenchie especially loves the baked dog biscuits.

Cute little breakfast spot. It's pretty quiet in there as many people are working on laptops or eating alone. Got a breakfast sandwich and a few pastries; everything was good but I didn't get to try their drinks. Would come back to pick up a quick bite if I'm in the area again!

Stumbled across this breakfast place! Was in the area and wanted a quick coffee + food spot. Glad we made the stop, food was delicious and we ended up eating outside on the patio.

Amazing food and wonderful service! The salmon bowl was absolutely incredible (OMG ). A special shoutout to Izzy and Jason for being so friendly and helpful -- they made the experience even better

I visited on a Friday around noon, there was no line, just a few people inside working on their laptops. I ordered the breakfast burrito, which came with two sauces and I added a side of tater tots. The burrito was good, with black beans, pico de gallo, and cheese melted on the outside that added a crispy layer. The orange juice was fresh! Overall, a good spot for a quick bite!

The Build: I ordered the banana cream matcha, which features a rich matcha base with standard oat milk, topped with a heavenly layer of banana cream and tiny, mysterious crunchy pieces. The Flavor Profile: Taste-wise, the drink was absolutely heavenly. The matcha itself was wonderfully rich, and mixing in the banana cream took it to the next level, while the crunchy toppings added a really nice occasional texture. The only real letdown was the size, the cup was just so tiny for an $8 price tag. Even though the flavors were incredible, it felt a bit hard to justify the steep cost for such a small portion. The Verdict: While the major price tag means this won't be an everyday habit, the solid flavors and super fast, friendly service make it a perfect spot for a little treat every once in a while. The staff had my drink out almost instantly around 10 AM on a Tuesday, and since I live so close, I'll definitely be back occasionally when I want to spoil myself.

We should have allowed that to be our indiscretion for the day. But nooooo. Mr. B can smell sinfully yummy calories, even with a bag over his head, a mile away. No parking, way too busy, way too full to seat us, a line bursting out the door, the tiny bakery cafe still seduced us. That is, Mr B circled the block in the car but pushed me out to get in line. It was the idea of a flaky, buttery, chocolate croissant crumbling all over his shirt that made him do it. And I had no intention of saying no. The line went quickly. The last Kouign Amann had just escaped my clutches to the guy in front of me, darn it. But there were still trays upon trays of freshly baked, massive chocolate croissants displayed in their custom, wood display case right next to the register. Instead of feeling welcomed, I felt like I was inconveniencing them just by ordering. A friendly attitude goes a long way, and that was completely missing. The coffee was even more disappointing. It had almost no flavor and tasted watered down, especially for the price. I expected a quality drink, but it was bland and absolutely not worth what I paid. To make matters worse, we were told to leave the patio an hour before the shop was even closing. If the patio has different hours, that should be clearly communicated instead of asking paying customers to leave early. Overall, this was a frustrating experience. Between the unfriendly service, flavorless coffee, and being asked to leave well before closing, I won't be coming back. There are plenty of other cafés in Pasadena that offer much better coffee and treat their customers with respect.

If they were going to do that, why not just seat people from the beginning. The person who took our order was very kind, and it did not take too long for the food to arrive. I had the Cesar Salad Wrap, which was very well dressed and not dry, as some wraps are. It came with a side of bananas and strawberries. Service has been fine; you can order from a touch screen or at the end of the counter. Unfortunately, the quality has been hit or miss lately. We have enjoyed the lavender latte and pistachio toddy latte, as well as the burrito. However, a few recent misses include: - Pistachio croissant with an overpowering alcohol flavor, like someone used too much pistachio extract instead of real pistachios. - The matcha banana latte tasted very watery and bitter, and didn't seem to make the most of either flavor. It somehow added up to less than the sum of its parts, which was a bummer for $9.50. - Not exactly a miss, but the person behind the counter cautioned me that the coffee cake I tried to order was too stale. I appreciated that . . . but why are stale pastries even on display? We have also had several false starts attempting to order things on the menu that they are all sold out of. This isn't the end of the world, but when it happens multiple times, it starts to feel like the signage is more for decor than information about what's truly available. I also had a strange experience trying to use the restroom. I could barely reach it behind all of the storage, and even when I did get inside, I could not for the life of me find the light switch and had to use my phone's flashlight to see. This was a while ago, so maybe this part is better now, but it contributed to the overall feeling that things are not quite on track. I hope that they can resolve whatever issues are happening behind the scenes, because this is exactly the kind of place we want to support, and I still think it has a lot of potential!
