The food is perfectly good and fine, however the lack of attention to details while taking and giving orders is astounding. My partner swapped a couple of ingredients due to food allergies, and received the order without the adjustments. They remedied the situation by re-making the order, but not without some mild pushback. "It's not on the ticket." Idk, maybe that's the responsibility of the employee taking the order? Before leaving, I decided on grabbing a pastry since the order counter wasn't busy. I asked for the kouign amann, and the person even repeated the item while ringing it up. Over the long weekend we took our son on the metro to try this place for lunch. Its open space and dog friendly atmosphere made me like it instantly. The coffee was fantastic, as were the egg salad and ham & butter sandwich. The boy shared with us and had his own, exceptionally crispy tater tots. And our pup got treated to a fresh made biscuit of his own. I'm still lucky enough to work remote, so this might need to turn into a weekday spot as well. read more

Words cannot even begin to describe how much I love this place. Not only do they have the best Matcha latte in town but their customer service is *chef's kiss*. I always feel so welcomed and cared for when I come in. Ivan and Jason and the entire crew are absolute rockstars and make this place so special. It's also got the cutest decor and outdoor seating that's perfect for catching up with a friend or a study session. My only complaint is I wish they stayed open longer! First time and probably the last time. Pricy. The mocha latte was so so, better when i added a sugar packet, but served in such a small cup. Another pricy item when I ordered a roasted chicken sandwich which unexpectedly was cold and came sandwiched between untrusted bread (not sure if that's supposed to be served that way). The egg salad sandwich was better. At least there was a small parking lot. The interior is nice. They also have outdoor seating available. The guy in the army shirt was nice and had good customer service. Meanwhile the blond lady in the purple shirt was curt, not rude but should not belong up front at the register. read more

They've always been so kind to me, my husband, my parents, and any friend I've ever brought here, which is a lot! Exceptional service from them all, either behind the counter or on the floor. They have probably the best almond croissant in Pasadena and some do the best pastry selections in Pasadena. And some of the best drinks and menu variety out of any shop in Pasadena. I get their breakfast burrito, a few pastries like their yogurt cake, croissant, cookie, I mean whatever I'm feeling you can't go wrong, I love their granola yogurt bowl surprisingly, and their turmeric latte and even milkshakes. The made to order madeleines sounded tempting, but I'm a sucker for a crumb topping so I got a slice of the blueberry coffee cake. My latte was delicious. This is such a cute little coffee shop. I instantly was drawn to the golden latte, which has no caffeine, but has delicious turmeric and ginger in it. I definitely recommend to anybody who doesn't really need a lot of caffeine in the morning but needs a little ginger pick me up and the cashier was great. This is a darling spot located in Pasadena with indoor and outdoor dining spaces. Parking is conveniently located behind the restaurant. I came here and tried the salmon bowl, smothered tater tots, and made to order madeleines. The salmon bowl was incredibly fresh and healthy. A large piece of salmon sits atop a bed of kale, cucumbers, rice, and carrots. There's two small sweet potatoes too. The sauce that comes with the bowl was so tasty and I poured it in and mixed the contents together. It was a really nutritious meal and I didn't feel heavy after. The smothered tater tots were amazing. There is cheese layered between the tots and bacon bits sprinkled on top. The tater tots were crispy and soft. I really enjoyed it alongside the salmon bowl. We got the madeleines for dessert and I was already full at this point but my friend said it's a must try so we did. I thought they were just as good as the madeleines I've had in France, if not better. They are made with orange or lemon zest and made to order so it's warm, light and fluffy. The food is solid - wouldn't say it wowed me - but it's a good place to get that small, quick brunch fix. We got the avocado toast and the breakfast burrito. Loved the pickled radish on the toast, and the stiffness of the tortilla they used for the burrito. Menu isn't descriptive about what ingredients they use so you'll have to ask if you're very particular about what goes into your food. The pastries were probably the best though. I got the plain croissant and Kouign Amann, and I think they bake them way better than other places. I wouldn't say the croissant was as good as the Sugarbloom croissants that are sold at places like Dash Coffee Bar, namely because it wasn't as crunchy, but it was better than the ones at most of the cafes I've tried in Pasadena. The sizes of both pastries were very generous too, for the price. I liked that the Kouign Amman wasn't too sweet and had just the right texture. I'd skip the matcha latte, mainly because it didn't have a strong flavor. The cup runs pretty small and stacked with a lot of ice so it really didn't feel like much for the price. Service wasn't the fastest. It wasn't terribly busy the day we went, but it still took more than 15 minutes for everything to come out. read more

The ham, veggies, and mac&cheese just had some strange flavor to it and really wish I could figure out why. But I couldn't stomach it anymore. Honestly, only the bread was good. Someone else tried leftovers the next day and asked why potatoes tasted sour. We had a ton left over and even the pie was thrown out. First time I've ever thrown out most of the food from a place.
