Service Requested: They always come through- no exception. They always put the "ON" in salon. I will not get my hair cut anywhere else. Quality: Always great, always quick, and Julie does such a good job I sent my very picky son there to get his haircut by her and now he will not go anywhere else to anyone else. And he lives on the north side of the city which says a lot. He travels 40 miles to see her, and I come from Woodridge/Lisle border myself. Julie is an honorary family member for life- she is simply the best there is, along with Adrianna, both of whom will surpass your wildest expectations. Vibe: Vibe is so trendy these days. Two words- GOOD VIBES. There are 4 ladies who work at this location and shout out to all of them!! I am a relational person so if the service and attitude and result of whatever service it is I am partaking in meets my needs, I tend to not want to reinvent the wheel. This said I have been going to this location since 2002- that is right, 24 continuous years. Although I believe any reviewer's opinion is their feeling of how their visit or contact went, I do find it hard to believe that Julie, Adrianna, Sydney or Lettie treat people with anything other than welcoming respect. read more

Julia always goes the extra mile. Trims ear hair and Eyebrows. I often have her trim my beard and she does a great job. I would recommend her to anyone that asks. My wife also goes to this Supercuts but uses Sidney, All are professional.and it is very clean! read more

My fave place for a haircut. I have very thick hair and I'm Tall so normally the stylist will complain or even worse Makes noise and shake her hands like it's a chore to cut my hair. Then I found Supercuts and they have never done that to me. I used to have Sydney cut mine and my sons hair and then when she moved on I thought I was in trouble but the rest of the ladies are just as great. Not only do I get compliments but they will always ask about my family no matter how long it's been. Very rude. I show up at 3:30pm with 3:45 appointment. The one first stylist confirms my appointment at 3:45pm. No problem! Well, the second stylist takes a walk in appointment and the first stylist is stuck now because there is a 4:00 appointment. The first stylist checks in with the second stylist to let her know I actually had a shampoo and cut at 3:45 and was already waiting before she took the walk in client. The second stylist immediately makes it seem like an issue because she just started with the walk in client. I overheard them talking about the shampoo, and I suggested that if the shampoo is too much, I can just get a cut. The other stylist took offense to me trying to help her out and then assumed that I was not understanding of "the shortage". The wait was not the issue. The time is not the issue. The snippy comment from the hairstylist was the issue. "Well it's covid, people have to be patient" comment that you said to your client about me is not necessary. Mask or no mask, I heard you. You assume I have not been on the front lines and advocating for everyone to be patient with workers like you and I during these hard times. Don't assume next time that 1) I wasn't patient and 2) that I was asking you to take my appointment next. I actually was modifying my appointment so that you had less work and can leave work on time. Make sure you call ahead or you'll be sitting there forever. All I wanted was a 5 minute buzz cut and sat there while 2 people walked in that had called in and went in front of me how STUPID is that? If you cut hair by appointments only, then ok I can understand that. I guess I'll just call up every day until I can get free to go there. Actually I won't be going there anymore. Since my review was deleted on Google reviews. I will never come back here. My hair was completely botched. And when I called, I was told - your hair shrunk, I wasn't expecting that. How is that even possible. NOT ONCE did she ask me to confirm my length, she cut off over 10 inches of my hair. I showed Edith a picture of what I wanted (medium length hair), with some layers, and she said, OK. I had no idea she would cut my hair into a short bob. I have already cried enough, yes it will grow back it's just hair. But I can't even put it up in a pony tail to get rid of so I am not constantly reminded of the ridiculous haircut. I can't even go get it fixed because then more would be cut off. Completely not fair, and not one apology or anyone accepting wrongdoing, instead blaming me for my hair. Unbelievable. Ok, this place I have to review because I left here with amazing hair! ..... I was referred here by my boyfriend's mom. She told me to ask for Letty for my haircut and color. I had never been to a supercuts before, so I was kind of surprised that they cater to girls hair.... Ok people do not let the look of this place turn you away! It's not very 2013 looking. But whatevs. They have cool products and are open like everyday of the week. Score! Anyways, I didn't know exactly what I wanted just that I wanted some blonde. The girl asked me lots if questions, and flipped threw a magazine with me. Still undecided I told her to do what she thought was best.... An hour and so later she was blow drying my hair and BAM! My hair looked so freakin amazing! Very talented girl, she's like my age but don't think that means she's inexperienced she's a color genius. I was here almost two months ago and color is still pretty. Will definitely be back. Cut, color, style I spent around $80. Plus tip so like $100 but worth every penny. read more

My hair is about all of two inches long (if that) at its longest. So I'm always on the hunt for a place to keep it neat. I have visited other places, and would be billed the same for longer, more complex styles, while all I needed was clippers across the back and sides, and a few snips across the top. $60 dollars and up was a bit too steep a price for me. I have been coming here now for my last three cuts, and I couldn't be happier. I usually pop in on a Monday or Wednesday evening, checking in effortlessly from their mobile app, which also gives you a fairly accurate wait time for services. I've always been happy with the speed and quality of the cut. I have gotten my eyebrows waxed here twice as well. The first time was a little bit shoddy (I found myself clearing up missed hair with tweezers at home later), but the second time was absolutely perfect. The price for the cut and wax was around $30, plus they have nice sales on product, my personal favorite being Paul Mitchell spray wax. There are coupons circulating in the local clipper magazines quite often, but they have loyalty punch cards for both haircuts and waxing, which after a certain number of services, you get something free. I hate to have to write a review like this but I wanted to be truthfull and warn others. I find it very odd that others here had such a great experience, and yet I had the complete opposite. I went off of the reviews here and requested Letty as my colorist. I was impatient and wanted to get my hair colored sooner rather than later so I scheduled an appt as soon as she got in on 5/6. I requested a haircut and highlights (full-foil). She asked me if I wanted to continue to have my color (a light golden brown dyed) or have low-lights put in that are close to my natural hair color. I said natural with honey blonde highlights all over. This is where it got scary. She put in the foils on half the side of my head and said she needed to get more bleach, she then went back and started texting, according to my daughter who watched her the entire time, came back and continued to do the same side of my head. She weaved the foils randomly and they looked like they were not even at all. Once all was applied (almost 45 mins)she said it would take 20 mins to process. She went to the back and I couldnt see anything since my face was covered in foils and was trying to look down at a magazine. After about 20 mins she looked at them and asked that I got to the bowl to wash out. She said she then had to mix the toner (wouldnt she have done that while mixing everything else?) She toned me and washed me and brought me back to the chair where she proceeded to blowdry my hair. I could tell she hadn't dryed naturally curly hair cause she kept pulling and saying my hair was very frizzy. I did mention it was naturally curly and thats the way I wear it. After the blowdry it looked a bit darker then usual, but ok. I paid ($125 with tip) after being told it would be $75 at first I was then told she had to charge me $98 b/c of extra dye and highlights. Once I got in the car my daughter noticed hairdye on my ear and neckline but I told her I would rinse it off. This is where it gets bad. I had two large dark brown blobs on my neck in the back and one on my ear. No notice was given to this during wash and blowdry? I then pulled my hair straight back to try and wash them off which became irritated and didnt come off. As this point I noticed that half the front of my head was done with highlights while the other half was dark. I decided to call and complain to which Letty asked that I come back in and she would fix it. She removed most of the dye off my neck and then put in some more foils and re-blowdryed one side of my hair. The next day was terrible. I washed my hair and more then half the toner came out with it!!! My hair was a brassy golden blonde with streaks that looked like tiger stripes. I called and asked to speak with the manager who stated she would talk to her manager and call me back the next day. I was very scared that they would want to put more color on top and my hair was already soooo dry and damaged that I opted not to and did a clarifying treatment and a demi-perm on top. Once she called back she stated they couldnt give me a refund but were willing to deep condition my hair if I came in. I knew I had a bad feeling about getting my hair done there, but I thought I would save money. HORRIBLE IDEA. Now Im out $125 and have damaged hair I have to fix. read more

Great stylists make me feel refreshed and ready to go. Gentle and nice, very friendly highly recommended.

First of all, we were not even greeted. A simple hello would have sufficed. After checking in and waiting for over half hour, the guy who arrived after us got to go first because he "called ahead." Mind you, he called after we had already checked in, and we had been waiting for 20 minutes (we heard the phone call take place) so why does it prioritize him to go first? In the service industry, things like this are significant. Fix your system. Someone waiting in the store should have higher priority than a phone call, and said phone call should be prioritized later based on people ALREADY checked in. Besides the system flaw, the place is dirty, the "welcome to Supercuts" rug is completely out of place and is a tripping hazard, and the staff was not friendly. We walked out without haircuts because we didn't want to waste any more time for the next caller to get placed ahead of us, too. If I could give a 0 star rating I would. read more
