My two year old daughter and I had an excellent experience today with Cecy. She listened to me and was experienced enough to give me exactly what I was hoping for. She and her staff member were so kind to my daughter, too. They even played with her hair a little and helped her back into the seat next to me at least a dozen times. Very disappointed, small staff, unable to accommodate appointments. If you have touch ups you should not have to wait two weeks to get an appointment. For business women like me that do not have enough time to pamper themselves because of busy life....work, kids, husbands. This is not the place to go to!! Don't waste your time. Only one person does the work and do not see much multitasking. Cannot complain about the end results however they don't care to lose business or are looking to improve. When I voiced my opinion they do not have the logical business perspective to care and improve or even to attempt. If you find yourself in a position where you need hair service ASAP, I did find an amazing place close by. The ambiance is alive, more than 1 staff --- lol, actually a good amount. Good structure is set up where everyone performs their magic and talents. I was so impressed to see how they know how to work with all hair types. Quality is not lost based on quantity. I originally came in here to bring my wife to get her hair done. I was just going to wait for her, but decided to go ahead and get my hair cut too since I needed a cut anyway. I usually go to a barber for my hair, but decided to give it a go since I had heard A LOT of good things about this place from numerous friends and family. Whoa! Glad I did. It was fast and it was GOOD! They even did some line designs and left me looking good and clean because they used a blade and not just the line trimmer. Went to this salon for the first time after being recommended and I had an awful experience. Went in to go to a lighter ash brown than I already was and left with ORANGE HAIR. The picture I asked for reference (below) is not orange at all, yet she gave me orange highlights? Legitimately put orange color on my hair. She also asked me if I wanted to cut my hair and I said no and that I would cut it soon, but somewhere else. She then proceeded to CUT IT ANYWAYS. Claimed my ends were dead, and if they were, so what? NEVER DO SOMETHING WITHOUT ASKING FOR PERMISSION! She was also on the phone for majority of my appointment which felt very unprofessional. After doing my hair, she straightened it on an extremely high heat temperature and could visibly see the smoke coming off of my hair even though she claimed my hair was "dead" and "fried." Why do more damage to hair just to take a picture for social media, which she also didn't post, so you know she knew she did a bad job. When I was leaving she gave me a shampoo that had crusty and dried shampoo around the cap that was specifically meant for "fine thin hair" but said that the price was high on my hair because of how thick it was..... which one is it??? The bottle was clearly used and was more than halfway empty so I was confused why she gave it to me anyways. Moral of the story, if you can't do something for a client and it'll be a completely different outcome, stop being stingy for money and just tell them it's not possible. read more

This salon is located in an industrial park. I made numerous attempts to make a reservation and when I finally got one and came in I was told there would be a 90 minute wait. This is completely unacceptable given the fact that I had an appointment and had called to confirm earlier in the week. They tried to make it seem like it was my fault because they had called me that morning and hadn't heard back from me. I had been at church that morning and no message was left for me but regardless it seems completely unprofessional. It seems like a small one person operation where you have to play phone tag and deal with communication issues. I decided to try Salon Cecy & Color after reading positive reviews on yelp. I am happy I did!! I love love love my haircut. Cecy did an awesome job in my layers and texturizing. I really liked that she did the texturizing on my hair after it was dry so she could see how my hair naturally fell into place. And she also gave me many helpful hints for my daughters hair. About 2 months ago I went to a salon asking for burgundy color and left with my hair looking black When I told Cecy that I wanted to go back lighter and asked her what she thought. After combing through yelp reviews, I booked my first appointment with Cecy last August and have been going back to her ever since! Her prices are beyond reasonable and she always takes such good care of my hair. I used to get full foil blonde highlights put in *every* single time I went to get my hair done. At my first visit, Cecy told me I wouldn't need to do that every time, and we could just do a root touch up in between to keep my hair healthier and keep the cost down. I have been coming to Cecy's salon for almost 3 years now and I highly recommend her to everyone I know. She is an amazing color stylist and she knows her field! She is very professional and always listens to what I am looking for and offers suggestions that will work best for me. She has helped me transition my hair to new colors and every time I leave her salon, I feel like a million dollars and I always get compliments on the beautiful color! She does her best to fit me in to appointments in a timely manner and will even tell me in advance if she will be on vacation so I can be sure to make an appointment beforehand.
