I walked in with my daughter 2 days ago for a "trim!" And touch up of the cut I already had that was grown out. The older white lady that helped me at first, I can't remember her name DID NOT WHAT SHE SHE WAS DOING! INSTEAD OFNA TRIM I GOT BUTCHERED! She tried to cover it up because it was wet. I was charged $100 for my cut, my daughters and a leave in conditioner they lied about to get me to purchase there. They said the product wasn't sold in stores and you couldn't get it cheaper anywhere else. LIES! It was at ultra for 18.99, where they are charging almost $40. When I immediately returned after going hm to flat iron it to see the cut the original lady just looked at me and had an attitude and asked her partner to help me when was Elena. Now Elena did try her best but unfortunately ended up really butchering my hair and leaving it even shorter with still a messed up cut! When I asked for a refund for the hair product I was told I could only exchange! This is not acceptable! Here is what I went in there with and what I left with. I have literally been crying since the night I came home! I have a very special trip planned for Jamaica in 2 weeks and my hair is almost unfixable! My only option is to go shorter ! read more

I've been coming here for a long time, due to proximity to my house, and usually I get good results. Today was an exception though. Normally, I give the stylist measurements of the top and sides, and the stylist uses these numbers as guidelines to create an aesthetically pleasing look. This time, the stylist (Brenda- at least that's the name on the receipt) simply took the instructions literally, without any attempt to style or even blend. She didn't bother to use scissors or comb, just reduced the hair length with clippers. I doubt if the measurements were even correct, since one side of my head was practically a crewcut, while the other side wasn't. She also didn't follow the standard practice of handing the customer a mirror to check their work at the end. Seemed like she was trying to rush through the process; I'd say my time in the chair wasn't more than ten minutes. The obvious lack of blending gave me a comic look which I had to correct at home. The stylist also seemed a bit nervous; when my card didn't go through on the first attempt (a normal occurrence) she seemed alarmed. I still gave a tip, but some serious improvement is needed here. read more

We have always had issues with my youngest daughter's hair cuts no body was able to get her hair even for some odd reason. If I can give 0 stars I would. I've been to this Supercuts for a while now and never have I had a bad experience like today. The girl cutting my hair was so rude and making comments that weren't funny and very humiliating to me. The sad part too is if she would've "read the room" like she should've, she would know I didn't find her remarks funny or amusing because I didn't laugh or say anything back to her. I had just got off work and came to get a haircut. Here's a list of things that went wrong. 1. She started combing through my hair and was like "ohh" I apologized to her for not combing it out before I came. She straight up said "girl your hair is crunchy, that made a crunchy sound" like what the hell? There was people sitting just looking I was mortified. 2. She asked how I wanted it cut and I said just a trim and she said "well girl you're going to have to show me how much" "do you want me to just cut off the dry ends" I said yes that's fine and she replied "if I did that you would be bald" what the hell! Now mind you there's other people inside, a girl is sitting next to me and I'm so embarrassed. What kind of hair stylist is this? At this point I just wanted to get up and leave and she didn't stop there. 3. She then told me to get up so she can look at the back, I got up and wanted to look at the back so I did so and she made a comment saying "girl I need to look at the back not you" does she think shes funny? 4. I paid to get my eyebrows waxed and she kept saying I twitched too much and it was making her nervous. I'm sorry but waxing hurts and it's common for people to do this. She also made a rude comment saying "it's been a while since you got them waxed huh, you're hairy" what the hell. You're supposed to feel good after a haircut but she just made me feel like crap. She needs a lesson on proper customer service and I will never come back to this location again. All in all I left very unhappy and wasted money on a haircut and awful experience. read more

You ever have that friend you can't stand but you keep on finding yourself chillin' with them? They take up space but you seem to have an insignificant attachment to their presence. That pretty much sums up my relationship with Supercuts. I know its expensive at $15 + tip. I know the wait is long. I know the so called stylist will give me a boring fade no matter how much in detail I describe the do I want. Knowing all the negatives, I find myself coming back when in dire need of a cut. It's not the worst place but far from being the best. It gets the job done. I tell myself after every cut it's the last time I pay a visit. Decent place. Standard for supercuts. Sometimes there's a wait if you don't have an appt. Sometimes not. Depends on your luck. Clean waiting area. Nice employees, good customer service. A bit on the pricey side for guys that just need a trim or buzz. But it's closer then my usual spot. Usually $7 for a regular cut/trim for guys at any Asian haircut place. Simply the best! A real all-start team of talent and like family for me. Should have written this review a long time ago. Been going to this Supercuts every month since 1997. Even though I now live 15 miles away it is well worth the drive. After over 300 haircuts or so, every one has been fantastic. Have not had one bad experience. They have long-time employees that are all wonderful and do a fantastic job. Probably have been treated by everyone of them. But don't just take my word for it. Then they give you the feeling they don't want to help you, At open time Saturday morning there's one lady working with one person waiting as soon as we walk in she says there's a 45 min wait. I made my appointment 4 days in advance for some highlights, the first time in that place very excited to do them, the two women who were there, tells me that there was no appointment for me, that Miss Carolina did not enter my data in the system, because she wrote it down in the notebook and they were sending me to another place, and that the powder they use for hair was gone, it was 3 pm and they no longer have the product, what are they going to do the rest of the day? do I have to go somewhere else? waste my time? my gasoline? Came by last Sunday before they closed, I wanted to color my hair and get a haircut. I walked in about 30-45 minutes before closing. I was told there was no way they'd be able to do it. I asked how much time before they close I needed. They said it'd be best to come with at least 2 hours. I came by today with 2 hours 15 minutes before closing. They immediately said they couldn't do it. What?! Doesn't it only take about 45 minutes to color someone's hair? They saw that I wasn't too happy, and said they'd "try". About 4:05 they called for me; and said they'd only retouch the roots (about 3 inches) for $70-$80. What the heck?! That's how much it costs to do all of the hair, why would I pay that for just the roots?! Doesn't make sense. I loved the girl's reaction when she saw my hair, she asked if I did it myself (cuz it's that crappy?). Guess what? You guys did that! I'm not sure why I'm still sitting here waiting for just a cut. I went here for a simple long hair layered haircut, and to have roots done. the hairstylist ( if she calls herself that!!) keep insisting that I would not see the layered because my hair was so straight. ok given, my hair is straight. why would she not cut my hair the way I like it. Poor service. Walk-in for haircut and only a couple people in there. Great! Wrong! 35 minuet wait because of call in?!?!?! Seriously!! Then someone is sitting in their chair doing nothing... I assume waiting on a call in? Absolutely ridiculous! My mom ended up waiting for well over the estimated time for a simple haircut because call ins walk in 5-10 minuets late and are still served before the ones that are sitting there waiting! Word to the "wise" staff.... if a customer is late... you take the next available client. Will definitely not come back. They suck anyway.
