Heavens, the low rating for this Supercuts are extremely old, mostly around 5-10+ years. I presume the problem stylist is long gone. I have gotten my haircut , must admit nothing complicated, several Tim's in the pat 6 months or so. The staff is friendly and very efficient. The rates are quite reasonable. Just got a cut yesterday. Got 1 PM appointment. When I arrived, all three chairs were busy and hole I was there there were two walk ins and a phone call wanting o schedule an appointment, indicating that the place is popular and well run. My cut was well done and quickly. Nothing to complain about ... except they keep asking if I want my "bushy" eyebrow trimmed. Ha! I do recommend this barber / stylist shop. read more

Honestly never cried so much about my hair in my life, I model and this lady ruined that for me until all her mistakes grow back out. My hair is short on the outside and long on the inside. Who does that to somebody, that is not layers, that's a child's haircut with kitchen scissors. She was cutting my hair so fast I honestly was scared, even when she was combing it out she was going as fast as she was possibly capable of doing, I wish you could take into consideration, hair is such a major importance on someone's appearance and you literally just ruined my life. Product selection is pretty small, if that's something you're interested in. It looks to me like people have some very high expectations of a walk in haircut location. Ive been going here for years, my sons and my father in law all get their cuts here. My wife has different expectations and wants and goes elsewhere. The staff is super nice, they are always working to be prompt. And its nice and clean, easy and friendly. It's also been a very consistent staff so once you know who works for you they have been available for years unlike other locations i used to go to that was a revolving door. I go to Thi! I was in dire need of a trim and had an unexpected free day, and since no other place in town had a walk-in that day, I decided to risk it. I have been coming here for 8 years. With one exception, I have always been happy with the haircut. The exception was a visiting stylist who had no idea what she was doing. The lady who usually cuts my hair noticed, stepped in, and salvaged the situation, so even that time I left happy. My haircut is usually something along the lines of a crew cut, though. If you want some fancy millennial style "man"-bun or some other kind of long haired sissy boy, Little Lord Fauntleroy cut, I can't say what sort of job they would do. I usually pay about $15 for not my girl's since they only get trims and my husband gets his goatee trimmed . we usually pay no more then $30 in Twin Falls, ID. At the Pickering Square location I paid $60 including tip for the exact same cuts. What a huge difference. If you're looking for a fancy hair salon, this is not the place to go to. However, if you're looking for basic haircuts for low prices, Supercuts in Issaquah is a good option. Some people complain about having to call ahead if you don't want to wait, but this store is very busy much of the time. One shouldn't complain for not following the advice the hairdressers give you. I always call in advance and never have to wait more than a couple minutes. My one suggestion for improvement is that the customer service, while usually good, can be more consistent. Sometimes I feel rushed, as some employees don't bother asking if I want my hair washed (I always do) as they seem to want to move onto the next customer. Some employees are less outgoing than others and should realize that friendly, personal relationships is what makes customers want to come back to a hair salon. However, in general I get good service for myself and my son. I like the hot towels they give you at the end. For a minute, I can close my eyes and think about the first class experience you get on airplanes. Giving out candy or lollipops to kids is also a nice touch. To me, this Supercuts is easily the best place to get a haircut in Issaquah. I've lived in Issaquah for 18 years, and this is where I keep returning when I need a haircut. The hairdressers are all friendly and helpful, especially Thi, who has been working here as long as I can remember. The reason I keep coming back here is largely due to her. She gives great haircuts, has specialized knowledge of the products the store sells to recommend the perfect hair care products for each customer, and her friendliness really makes coming here a positive experience. Besides the hairdressers, this Supercuts is always clean and tidy, with plenty of room for customers who are waiting their turn, and has high quality and comfortable furniture. Additionally, all of the tools used by the hairdressers are high quality and always as clean as can be. I'm always impressed at their promptness, and their willingness to fit people in right before their closing time. Many times I have shown up with 15 minutes until they close, and they're able to fit me (and everyone else) in before they close for the day. I never even call ahead and I very rarely have ever been asked to wait more than 25 minutes. Prices are reasonable and competitive, and I truly believe this is the most value you'll get for your money for a haircut. I can't say enough positive things about this Supercuts, and their staff. Take it from someone who has lived nearly two decades in this area, this continues to be the best spot in Issaquah to get a haircut. read more

My barber, I believe her first name was Thi, but her last name was definitely Nguyen. Absolutely poor customer service, when I told her what I wanted she tried to argue with me, saying that it was too long. Ultimately she didn't listen to what I wanted, and my hair turned out way shorter than anticipated. Having my hair cut shorter than normally probably wouldn't have been a problem, but the quality of the cut was terrible, choppy and uneven all over is just one of my issues with it. This is probably one of the worst haircuts I've ever received, and the haircut is severely overpriced, even if it was a quality cut. read more

Had the haircut experience from hell, here today. Took my three year old son and they were super busy so the lady was rushing to get his haircut. I wish I was video taping because her harshness was near child abuse. She was jamming the clippers in his head so hard he was cringing and flinching. Then she cut him twice on both ears which made him flinch again!! I would've too!! After he was done I noticed BOTH of his ears were bleeding!!! He was covered with hair since she neglected to try to get the hair off of him. My sweet boy was trying to be brave since I promised him Starbucks afterwards. She then proceeded to try to charge me full price!!! Other guest in the waiting room were shocked and told me that if that had happened to their kid they would've gone ballistic! And how dare they charge me!!! So not one to make a scene, I told the lady I didn't think charging me full price was fair. She eventually just let me go. But now my son who has had many haircuts in the past is terrified of ever getting his haircut again. I feel horrible as a parent for letting him endure such torture and rough handling. I echo the reviews about respecting your time. They also don't have a decent system to determine how long the wait will be. I have tried calling before they open and no answer. Other times I have arrived about 10 minutes before they open and it is a short wait. Today I got there 10 minutes before they opened and there were already at least 3 people in line before me.
