I needed a prompt haircut, so I decided to come in. I went to their website and got a quick appointment for today. When I arrived I was greeted immediately and I checked in thru the screen. I waited in the seating area for 20mins until T called me up. She asked what I wanted to do and helped me decide because I confused her on what I wanted done. After a small discussion she helped me decide on a short length to go for. T was nice and was a great listener. Our simple conversing was exceptional and I will return for T. I went in and showed a professional photo of how I wanted my hair to look. (going from shoulder length to an asymmetrical Bob). The stylist told me that it's impossible because of the texture of my hair. I end up showing an old photo of myself I didn't want to show but had on hand just in case to show that I've had my hair the way I wanted it. They reluctantly agreed and proceeded to cut my hair. They kept assuring me that my hair would look the way I wanted once it dried but it looks way off. I'm very unsatisfied with my hair cut and I'm honestly very upset. I need to get it fixed elsewhere now. I would've given less but the stylist was constantly asking if it's okay which I appreciate and give a star for. But when I said I wanted it shorter they'd tell me it would look weird or the texture would be off. I trusted their advice and I wish I didn't. read more

NEVER COME HERE I came in this sunday earlier in the day, I sat down and waited for about 10 minuted and they called my name. I sat down on the chair and they lady asked what I wanted and I replied with A low Taper Fade with it squared in the back. I thought I would be ok considering these are people with license to cut hair, I wasnt paying attention that is on me. I look up when she tells me that the haircut is done and it is nothing I asked for. She tells me if she had hair like mine she would style it like this, to me she is implying she cut it the way she wanted to and NOT the way I asked for it. I asked for a low taper fade that usually does not go past the temples, the lady did not even give me an actual fade but brought the fair all the way up to where me hairline rest. Love this location! It helps that my cosmetologist that I've had for 20 years is now here. Ana Cabus is amazing! She gives the best scalp and neck massage that I've ever experienced! It's the little things matter. They've added vibrating chairs for shampooing! Ana is also rebuilding her client base since the Supercuts at beach and imperial wouldn't tell her clients where she relocated. Worst haircut I have ever received. I came on Sunday and the lady who was cutting my hair rushed through it and left me with half my hair shorter than the other side.. I didn't notice how bad it really was until I got home . I can't believe she saw my hair and let me walk out like that! I don't remember her name but she was an older asian lady with short hair. I originally asked for her to only trim about 1-2 inches and she ended up taking off about 5. I will never be returning here and I'm so upset about how my hair turned out. I had to go to another salon so they could fix my haircut and even they were shocked on how a place could let you walk out when they know they did a terrible job. I would not recommend coming here. I had a great experience here. I have been trying to find a new place to get a haircut since the Supercuts off Beach Blvd near Costco closed. I walked in wanting both a haircut and to color my hair. This was my first time coloring my hair, and my hair stylist, Chelsey, was super sweet and helped explain the entire process to me before it all happened and even again as it was happening (cutting my hair, bleaching it, washing it, toning it, washing it, etc.). I showed her pictures of what I wanted, and she did a great job of matching it. The receptionist, Desi (I believe...) was super nice too. For the entire time I was there, they both made my experience comfortable and pleasant. As mentioned before, they were very friendly and did a great job - plan to come again next time. read more

I checked in online, I thought it was to put me in ahead of time but it was not. I had to wait as if I had not checked in. Every Supercut finishes with a Hot Towel Refresher® to remove stray hairs off your face and neck, leaving you feeling clean, sharp, and ready to get back to your day. Well this did not happen. I was not given a consultation and I was not given a Hot Towel Refresher!!! What really bothers me (and it may be the case at all Supercuts), my hair was not washed twice. I went because I had a medical treatment and was told not to shower and wash my hair for 3 days. I went to get my hair clean and as long as I was there I would pay for the cut also. At this location they charge $19. for the cut and $5. for the wash. I have never spent such a short time getting a cut. I really could not tell the difference with my hair, but I wanted out. The large tattooed woman was getting on my nerves as she was not pleasant and I felt she had no interest or concern for me. I have been to other Supercuts, but it was so long ago I can't remember the details but I know I felt good about the service. So I will not be back, to this location. read more

It was a very nice salon as most Supercuts are. The ladies there were very sweet and courteous to me. I'm not much of a talker and they respected that. The hair cut in itself was well done and quick. Possibly too quick. I feel like they may have rushed a bit in finishing my hair but nonetheless it turned out just as I asked. read more

I didn't know that every Tuesday there is a discount of $3 at this Supercuts. So instead of $24 for a haircut it is $21. The 3 hair stylists there today were working hard. I made an appointment for 5:00 with Chelsey on their website. I like that they give you an online appointment system as an option. When I came I had to wait about 15 minutes, but I was ok with that. While I was there at least 3 other people came in. Even though the hair stylists were busy and trying to be fast, they were each very attentive and calm with their customers. To my untrained eye, they gave the guys ahead of me good haircuts. They seemed satisfied. Chelsey was very nice to help me remove the heaviness of my hair in the back. I have thicker hair and my haircuts can tend to look a bit mushroom-like if the hair stylists doesn't thin out the back. LOL. She communicated well and checked for my satisfaction. She was ok with taking off more when I gave her that feedback. I think this is a great place to go to get a decent haircut at an affordable price! read more

Let me start by saying that I didn't trust anybody with my hair until I saw Yvonne amazing work. I had long hair my entire life, way past my breast line and for the last 2 years I had really wanted my hair short in a bob style. And because I really never trusted anyone with my hair it was really hard to take the dive and cut it, especially bc most hair salons I got quotes for were not practical for me or my wallet ($60 a haircut). Anyways, Yvonne does an amazing job, she really listen to me, my concerns and she took the time to really understand what I wanted. I will be coming back to her from here and out. Celina was my hair stylist.. after haircut, I handed her coupon ( haircut $10 ).. she refused to honor Supercuts coupon because on Tuesday , no coupon day..!!.. on coupon, nothing was mentioned about Tuesday.. I called another location.. ( La Habra)..she told me that it's mistake.. they should honor coupon and she gave me phone number of corporate office to complain.. I really enjoy coming in. I've been coming to this Supercuts for about 2 years and every time I come I feel great about my experience. The hair artists here are personable and welcoming. They take time to listen and give you the look you want at an elevated level. I have never done anything else than a haircut before and I found the trust to actually streak my hair and later add color. This was all possible because of the environment these hair artists create. Went in for a hair cut... I decided to get the conditioning treatment... The girl (I think Chelsea??) barely spent any time washing my hair... Then spend about 2 minutes cutting my hair... She says how short? I don't have very short hair for a guy. I work in a professional environment. So I show the lady pictures of me and my friends hair cuts. Both very similar and pretty simple. Hard to mess up and even my bad hair cuts still look good. Usually. So this was bad. She ignored what I said/ showed her and instead did her own thing using buzzers all over and being lazy about it. I had to stop her from making it worse. I think because I finally said something and had been careful to prevent hair getting on my dress clothes when she took the apron off she was careless and covered me in hair.
