I usually go to high end salons for conditioning, cuts, dye, hair dos, the whole 9 yards. My stylist wasn't available and I desperately needed a deep heat conditioning. , I decided to try Rachel and I am so glad that I did! Rachel did my hair, and I was blown away. She does cuts, color, and her work is amazing. My hair came out shiny, healthy, and beautifully styled. Her blow dry, color , and hair techniques are that of a professional salon quality. She is also a barber and did my son's hair. My son is very picky with his hair and now will only go to her. She books fast. I recommend Rachel. If I could give zero stars I would! Sandy did my hair and she is a very nice lady. But I go in for my appointment and after she washes my hair, we go back to sit for her to start blow drying it and someone comes in and I guess there is another hairstylist there, but they were at lunch and so basically right as she started she asked if she can go ahead and do the mans hair real quick because it takes about 10 minutes. I was fine with that because I was early anyway. Prior to that she asked if product was OK in my hair so she was using heat protectant spray but when I got back into her chair after letting her do the other guys's hair she never used heat protectant spray once and my hair was basically dry at this point she didn't wet it again and she's barely blow drying it and as someone with curly hair, you have to blow dry it straight first before you flat iron it. So she's barely using a brush except to kind of brush out knots halfway and then she's using her fingers and another guy comes in and now she's stressed because the other hairstylist isn't back from lunch, which I believe his name was Joe can't fully remember, but he takes her daughter to lunch and this was before I got there and it was about 2:30 when the second guy comes in and she tells him that the other guy will be back in 20 minutes so time is passing. She's texting and calling. Finally the guy comes back in five minutes after and acting like so nonchalant and Sandy that's doing my hair is already stressed out. He does the guy's hair she starts choking on something so that takes another five or six minutes out of the time to do my hair which at this point I'm still OK fine but I did have a gut feeling that maybe my hair would not come out that great but I've had that before and my hair has come out amazing. So she continues with my hair and then one of her regulars comes in and then another lady comes in and it's about 3:10 at this point and that lady said her appointments at 4 o'clock is she super early and then the other guys asking who another person is cause their appointment is in about five minutes then they walk in and then he goes back and starts doing color for this person because their appointments at 3:30 and another mother and daughter come walking in and their appointments also at 3:30 at this point, she is done blow drying and she's now flat ironing my hair. About halfway in she asks if her daughter can help and I'm like fine whatever you're getting packed. Maybe my hair will still come out good. Her daughter's barely brushing out my hair acting like she's never brushed out hair in her life. Sandy is yanking my hair and my hair is coming out because she's just yanking through the knots. My hair is going left right back and now my head is a little tender. And she's just rushing taking big clumps and trying to straighten and all this stuff and then at the end she's like is it good and I can barely see I wear glasses so I'm looking across in a mirror across the way for me and I'm like I guess so so she turns me around and she's like oh yeah it looks good yeah and at this point, I said good enough because I'm halfway embarrassed that I needed two people to do my hair. I already have a feeling it looks horrible and then on top of That you turn me around and it doesn't look like you did anything. It's puffy it's still basically has remnants of being curly. And mind you, Joe or whatever his name is have the nerve to open his mouth and say that I'm gonna have to be charged extra because of blah blah blah which he couldn't get the words out cause he's stuttering over himself. I went in yesterday and when I made the appointment with the lady said OK we're at $79 right now, but it also depends on how long your hair is so I did expect it to be a little extra. But I immediately had to put my hair back up in a bun because it's so bad and she charges me $84 and throughout this time I'm wondering should I tip because I feel bad and she's really nice but I'm paying for my hair to be done and it's horrible. So instead of tipping $20 I tip five dollars now she seemed pissed at that cause I looked at her face and then she asked if I wanted to receipt, I said yes I just put my hand out to grab it and she puts it on the countertop and she says thank you. Have a nice day and I said you too and I left. I'm sorry, but you cannot expect to be tipped when basically doing my hair was such a sh*t show and I'm still gonna have to redo it myself. So I paid $89 for me to do my own hair in the end. Is it my fault for staying and getting my hair done anyway maybe but Yesterday was my birthday so I thought I was gonna do something semi nice for myself and have a relaxing experience yet it wasn't relaxing and my hair is horrible. And a bigger kicker is I've been to this location before and I've never had a problem at any super cut that I have been to for someone to just wash my hair Section. I made an appointment the day before and showed up on time, when entering the first thing stated was "Hi, I have an appointment at 1?" And the response was an awkward "...okay?" by the one woman working at a chair. Then a second woman came to the front asking if she could help me and I repeated myself, which the answer was an oddly aggressive "Well I can't take you because I leave at 2, have a seat." I asked if I miss-heard because what does that even mean. I sat down for less than 5 minutes, I could tell the woman working wasn't close to done plus the vibe was so off, so I decided I didn't trust them with my hair and I left. When the appointment was made the girls there the night before were pleasant, so it may have just been these two, but seriously wtf? read more

Do not come here. Unfortunately I didn't get the hair stylists name, but lady you gave me a terrible haircut. I thought it was good when I was in the chair and left a pretty good tip, then I get home and see it looks like Edward scissor hands came at my hair. The lady kept saying that my bangs were out of style and whoever did them gave me "little girl bangs" well now my bangs are CHOPPED. All uneven, I don't even know how to style them in a way where they look normal. I even gave her a reference photo for my bangs and face framing pieces, well she ignored that! I asked for layers and she sounded very knowledgeable about my hair type and how layers suit curly hair... well that was BS. The layers she gave me are so incredibly short, I look ridiculous! Don't come here unless you're looking for the worst haircut of your life and going through some sort of humiliation ritual. I got a haircut at Supercuts at 9811 W. Charleston, Las Vegas NV. on September 4th with Nicole. I was supposed to be a six on top and a 4 comb on the sides. She shaved parts of the top and the hair is shorter on the areas on top than it is on the sides. This is the worst haircut I have ever been given. I'm the kind of person that gives a person another chance. So I gave the salon another chance. I've been coming here since I moved on this side of Vegas. So I would say I've been coming here for the last 2 1/2 years. I enjoyed coming here but it seems like this salon has been going downhill since they've been popping managers left and right. The last time I was here they did an OK job on my hair. It wasn't until I made a appointment that made me not come here anymore. It's how they conduct themselves in customer service over the phone and in-person. It's how they treat the customer because you're gonna trust this person with a pair scissors that's gonna cut your hair. My husband had an appointment this morning at 10am, when he got there he was told in a very unprofessional way to wait outside. I believe this person's name is Annette (Caucasian). When he was leaving he notices two people were waiting inside the store, one on each side of the door for their turn. My husband felt he was discriminated against and I truly believe he was! He's been going there for a while now but this was his last time giving them his business. This place is not that cheap anyways. Looking for a quick trim before the holiday I ran to Supercuts during lunch and was pleasantly surprised. Paulina was very talented and was able to get me in and out of the chair in no time flat, fixing my issues my regular stylist had made at three times the price. Heather at this Supercuts is awesome, she always gets the blend perfect and makes sure every detail is spot on. If something is not quite right she will see it and take the time to get it right before she lets you get out of the chair. My hair grows fast and I like to keep it short, so I come in here about twice a month. My only complaint is that sometimes Heather goes on vacation and I have to walk around with a shaggy mop for a few days, but all is fine when she returns. Get the tea tree treatment after your cut, it's well worth the extra $7. Your hair and scalp will feel tingly clean and it's super relaxing. read more

Had an appointment this afternoon only to find that somebody else took my spot prior to me arriving. When they couldn't find me in the system they asked the previous person what their name was and realized he took my spot even though his name wasn't even close to mine. The guest and staff starting laughing about it. I let it go and waited. Once my name was called the same guest and stylist started laughing again. I went to this location since it is new. The first thing they said was I had lice so they were not providing the services. I said I used a lot of hair spray. They insisted that I had lice. I went to other location where I go always and I told them what happened. They examined my hair and said couldn't find any thing. I was so upset that they weren't professional at all. Personally, I do Yelp! Reviews not to drive away business from small or large business owners but to improve customer service and quality of work that clients pay for. Pressed for time with dinner plans I walked into this location for a shampoo and style. I was greeted promptly , there were only two clients and 2 hairdressers. I waited less than 10 minutes but already notice the disorganization of the place - magazines in disarray and there was no welcoming feeling from the staff. Stacy takes me to her station no greeting - simply how do you want your hair to look. I explained that I had plans for the evening and just need a soft natural look - no big deal. She shampoos me and I say oh, no introductions? What is your name? That already gave me a bad sign I should have just walked out at that point! Shampoo-ing was fine then she takes me to her station - the wall had color stains all over and she had a dirty looking towel to dry my hair. I should have walked out then but since I'm a glutton for punishment & desperate I didn't. She lays the towel over the standing hair dryer as if she had intentions of re-using it again! The rest was agonizing pulling and tagging on my hair - I finally said Awe! She calmed down win her aggressive hair drying technique and then she asked do you cut your own bangs? That drove me over the edge- first of all she used the wrong type of hairbrush to style my hair and her station was filthy, I finally stood up and said I'm not being a bitch but clearly you don't know what you are doing and I now have to go somewhere else to get it done right! She goes oh your hair is still damp and tried to fix it - I said don't touch my hair! I paid my bill and walked out not to embarrass her in front of others. No tip! Lesson? Clean up your store and have your staff update their skills! Don't call your clients "honey". Re-train your staff! I am not going back to that location again! Prices trend a bit higher than some of the other chain salons in the area but I've been quite pleased with my last three visits here in all but one regard - the horrendous pop-music playing far too loudly. Let me say that I've gone to multiple Supercuts over the years. Quality depends on the stylist, not the salon; which is why I've never had a problem going to Supercuts. But do not ever go to this location! Choose somewhere else! Literally anywhere else. I went in and as the previous customers left the two employees were shit talking them! Saying how weird they were and that they hate when they request them specifically. I should have left right there but I made the mistake to stay. I had a specific cut in mind and brought multiple photos of the same model with the cut from various angles. It was an undercut bottom with a long top and bangs. I told her multiple times to keep the top long so it would cover some of the undercut and still be long in the front. I even kept the photos open for her on my phone. So what did she do? She buzzed most of my hair and gave me a blunt bang. I asked her halfway through what she was doing because that was when I realized she had no idea how to cut hair and reassured me that I was getting the undercut I wanted. I tried telling her and pointing at the pictures that the top was to be kept long but she refused to see anything but the undercut. But what was done was done and I had lost most of my hair already. I told her just to at least fix it so it wasn't multiple lengths but even still, the back is terribly skewed and only one side has an undercut. The worst part is that she didn't apologize for butchering my hair. She wrote it off as a communication error, which is utter bullshit. If the customer is unhappy, even if it was an error on both sides, you apologize and try to make things right. Not even the other stylist working bothered to try and help. The worst haircut I've ever received along with one of the worst customer service experiences. If you like Supercuts, just choose another location. I didn't get the girls name, but she looked Hispanic and had longer curly bleached blonde/orange hair. Spoke with an accent. read more
