AVOID IT!!! Save your money and take it to a real salon! It's cheap and franchised for a reason. They're just a bunch of untrained, non-experienced people messing with your hair. My daughter got a bad cut today. They chopped about 10 inches of hair off and did not give the cut that was asked for. It's a straight cut across her shoulder and looks like a bad wig. If you can't cut it, it's okay to say so and have someone else do it. WE'RE NOT THERE FOR YOUR TRAINING OR FOR YOUR AMUSEMENT. read more

I walked into super cuts this morning (4.6.19) to get my hair cut. The receptionist asked me what she could do for me in a very rude tone. Of course, I'm here for a hair cut. She looked me up in her system and ask me if I was Dan. After correcting her that my name is Stan, she immediately said the wait is 20 to 30 min for the next hair After waiting less than a minute, the next customer came in. The receptionist was incredibly nice to this customer; even going as far as asking how his day was going with a pleasant smile. After seeing this I was like what the f was that and left. Tiffany D 5 stars everytime. Yoselin gets 1 star for being friendly. Not sure how many stars to leave. Tiffany D does a fantastic job on my hair Every time. I recently went to get a hair cut and decided to use someone else, as Tiffany was with a customer and this lady looked like she'd cut good hair. We agreed on a length, but she cut it about 4 inches too short. She gave me a bob, when I didn't ask for one. I've had 3 people ask if one side is suppose to be longer. Not sanitary. I took my 2yr son to get his hair cut. But we ended up not getting the haircut because my son was being difficult and she didnt know how to do a simple mohawk.. However after i left i noticed that my back was prickly and noticed a shit ton of hair from her previous client on the back of my shirt. Not very professional or sanitary. (Riu) They are holding a sharp instrument in their hand and holding it close to your head. Goodness, it can be such a scary thing to get a hair cut. There is an elusive hair stylist that can bring all of those fears back. Actually, this is all in good fun. (Riu) If you seriously want a beautiful experience please see my favorite hair stylist..actually she is my only hair stylist and of course isn't mine and now I'll probably have to wait hours to see her...just kidding. (Riu). I'm not sure if you could tell but I was subliminally saying her name...it's Riu. What's interesting about Riu is that the more you make her laugh, the better your hair cut turns out! :) Don't cross the line, otherwise you'll be in trouble and therapy might be the only way back to her chair. My husband came here to have a hair cut and the woman that was cutting his hair was very insulting. She was a older woman. She insulted my husbands car, and asked where he was working and cut his hair very uneven. He didn't noticed until I told him because he couldn't see from the back. There was hairs that she missed from the back of his head. Very ugly and messy hair cut I have ever seen. He usually cuts his hair very short like military style. One of the easiest thing to cut. He was very angry and upset that he tried this place because of the all of the reviews from yelp that he thought he should give this place a try since he lived too far from his usual hair cut place. After previous bad experiences in the past with this Supercuts location, I came there on a Sunday in need of a haircut before leaving town, and I wasn't disappointed (especially for $16). The place is well-maintained and clean. The atmosphere is noisy and super busy, so if you were to come here, definitely call ahead of time and avoid the trouble of waiting. After observing the hair stylists working, I decided to go with Kim to cut my hair. She really takes the time to talk about your options and offer suggestions on cutting your hair. Unlike some of the others I've noticed that day, she actually engages in conversation with you to make the experience less dull and more comfortable. After talking with her, I ended up going with an a-line cut, which I'm very happy with. However, Supercuts didn't blow-dry, spray, or mousse my hair once done for no extra cost, unlike other hair salons I've gone to that are in the same price range or less. But that was just my observation. Overall, I left Supercuts very satisfied with my haircut. If I were to come here again in the future, it would only be because of Kim. Have been going here since 2008. Gotta say that I have never had a bad haircut at this place. It doesn't matter who cut my hair the result was always satisfying. That or I really don't understand hair. By the way I only get regular haircuts nothing fancy. Always received a good cut..I have never had a bad experience at this location! Yoselin is definitely my go to stylist! I really don't even have to say much anymore since she goes out of her way to remember and master the type of style I like. Everyone that I've encountered seem to be really experienced. Sometimes it's best to call and set an appointment during busy hours, if you need to save some time. After moving to Sacramento and having to go through multiple barber shops, I've now found my spot. PRO-TIP: They won't tell you till you get there that their minimum for dying hair(single process) is $50. You might as well go to Ulta in the same parking lot, their prices start at $45. Went in for a trim. Said I was growing out a pixie and didn't want any length cut off and that I was primarily there for my bangs. Instead of listening to me the girl cut a ton of the length off that I've been growing out for the past five months and put a ton of short layers back into my hair so now all of the growth that I had done is gone and I look like a bad old school Justin Bieber...just in time for the holidays. I SERIOUSLY HATE THIS PLACE! Last year, I took my son to get his hair cut. I went in asking for a medium cut with a side part and left with a short uneven cut that was not properly layered so it looked jagged. I vowed not to go back and then today, my wife took my 10 year old daughter there without me knowing. She asked for an a-line for my daughter who had hair down to her waist. The lady cut it straight across above the shoulder! Isn't an a-line suppose to be long in the front? Wasn't showing her multiple pictures not enough to know how it should look? It will take another year just to get some length back! Her excuse was, she had to cut it short to make it the proper length to donate to Locks of Love, which we did ask about, but if it wasn't enough, she shouldn't have cut it any way she wanted?! What gives her that right? I can't believe people ask money for this type of service! My family is pissed off. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST. It's just a bunch of newbies, badly trained, and "stylist" that could care less about you and your hair. read more

Very bad customer Service tonight Checking online with the first available time being 7 pm I arrived at 6:15pm and was told they were swamped and that 7 pm would be my time. A walk-in came in at 620 pm and was told to sit down as they were expecting a lot of on line checkin people to arrive. Then when the next chair became available the walk in was called up at 625 pm. When I asked why they would take a walk-in before someone that arrived before them, they said that was the way the system worked and that I would have to wait till 7 pm. Needless to say I was not happy and I asked them to cancel my 7pm slot. This store is always very friendly and the staff is very experienced but tonight they just were not on their game and they disappointed a regular customer that pays full retail and tips well. read more

I was very glad to find this place. I had been going to another Supercuts, but this Supercuts (on Olsen) is cleaner, friendlier, more professional, and I liked the cut better at this location. They say they are the busiest Supercuts in Sacramento, and frankly I believe it. My only recommendation is that you call or go online first to make an appointment. read more

Even during the haircut I was clear about what I wanted and then it was as if she couldn't care. Looked on web site as they used to have a "fix it" guarantee and that no longer exists. Took our 16 month old son here for his first haircut today and they were great! They were slammed but still made us feel welcome and important. Our hairdresser (I think her name was Chong) was super patient with him when he fussed and helped calm him down. We even got a first haircut souvenir and he and his big sis got lollipops.
