I'm staying in downtown Denver for the week so I was excited to find a place that I could get an açaí bowl as it's my new obsession. The classic bowl was good, but Ive had better. Maybe because I was a little disappointed in the service. I ordered a 16 oz and the woman making my bowl gave me a 12 oz. When I asked about it she insisted that the 12 oz is the same she just added more fruit on it and smushed (which made it a mess) it down so it's still considered a 16oz. The service took forever as is so I didn't feel like it was worth it to debate her. My suggestion is to just provide people what the request. Thanks. Chris the owner followed up on my initial review. He was super professional and apologetic for my experience. His follow up was definitely unexpected but very appreciated. I'm meeting in the middle with 3 stars because my fiance was a fan. I on the other hand didn't care for it. Yes I understand some places add additional sugar to their acai and pitaya bowls but I would take that over the bland bowl of blah I had in my bowl. I ordered The Classic with pitaya instead of acai and with agave syrup. The only winner for me here was the vanilla granola, very delicious! The base however was lacking in the flavor department and it was basically a gelatinous bowl of cool colored ice. The toppings are also pretty scarce for the price. Definitely recommend the large bowl if you are eating a bowl as a lunch or meal as opposed to a snack. The bowls are delicious and feel healthy, and the prices are more or less similar to other businesses in town selling the same type of product. I have yet to try the juice but hope to do so on a future visit. read more

Pretty delicious and appropriate cost for what you get. Great service and good additions to your bowl. The smaller size was perfect for a quick, healthy breakfast. I never thought anything could come between me and my peach perfection from Jamba Juice, but sadly the day has come! My friends and I decided to stop by on our break the other day and I was amazed. The employees were so knowledgeable about each menu item and even recommended low calorie substitutions to help us get those hot summer bods. This place has great smoothies and bowls, but they need to have more people working. This poor lady up here trying to do everything by herself. Took over 25 minutes to get a coffee and a smoothie. Watched people walk out of the place because they stood in a line of 3 people for 15 minutes while the worker was looking at online orders. Management has to do better than this. Reason why is I lost 40lbs in 5wks drinking healthy Green Smoothies, which got my weight down, cholesterol down from 250 to 160! and blood pressure back in check, feeling AHH Some! The açaí bowls are very good. Great fresh ingredients. It's my favorite place to get them. The 4 starts is just because it's kind of inconvenient -They take awhile to make them so if you have time to wait 10-15 minutes. And the employees aren't always that friendly and sometimes forget the additional add-ons to your bowl that you pay extra for and then seem annoyed when you ask for them so that's the only downfalls. I recently travelled to Denver for business and was seeking a healthy breakfast. I found Superfruit Republic and ate there 3 of the 5 mornings I was in town! I have dietary restrictions and was happy to learn they had non-dairy and gluten free options. Also, the "original" flavored granola that I got did not contain nuts and was gluten free, woo hoo! I was so very excited when this location popped up right next to work. I could a healthy snack after a workout or even for breakfast. Well unfortunately the quality has changed. I realize there is a turnover of staff with a lot of new faces but it seems there is something/an ingredient always missing from my bowl once I get around to eating it. Ugh. Plus there is less fruit on the top. I used to go about 2 to 3x a week, now it is once every other as I hoped it would go back to what it once was when they first opened. No such luck. No longer getting my money's worth. People say try the smoothie but one can get a smoothie anywhere it was the bowls that were the catch. Very disappointed. read more
