Early in the process, communication was inconsistent but acceptable, and our calls were always picked up or eventually returned. The project took a little longer than expected, but not to an unreasonable degree for custom work. Unfortunately, the finished product and post-payment support left us very disappointed. The French doors, while functional, do not look professionally finished. One door is slightly angled at the base, and there are multiple visible imperfections in the caulking and paint along the edges. For the price point, we expected a much cleaner and more polished result. Instead, parts of the finish look closer to a DIY project than high-end custom craftsmanship. The living room cabinets are definitely more professional-looking, but if you inspect them closely there are noticeable defects. Our biggest issue has been with getting to fix problems after payment. One of the shaker-style cabinet doors on the living room cabinets broke shortly after installation. Since we had not yet made the final payment, they repaired it quickly, and we paid the remaining balance. However, the repair appears to have been temporary because the same door broke again within a couple of weeks. After that, communication became extremely frustrating. They initially sent someone out to take the door for another repair, but then we experienced months of unanswered calls and texts despite following up weekly. After roughly three months, we finally got a response and were told the door could not be repaired and would need to be remade. Someone came out to take measurements and promised an update within a few days. That was nearly 3 months ago, and once again we have received no responses to calls or texts. At this point, we have been without a large, highly visible cabinet door in our living room for over seven months and no longer believe this issue will be resolved by the company. We will be finding someone else to fix it. Based on our experience, I would strongly caution future customers that once final payment is made, getting follow-up support for issues or warranty-related problems will be next to impossible.

Initially all was ok -- our first appt was scheduled for 8:00 am and Sarah txted at 6:30 am to reschedule, but Jon did show the second time. We went over what I wanted, he had samples, gave me a quote, and I gave him a 50% deposit. I told him straight up, I wasn't especially in a rush, but that I've had bad experiences with some other contractors (see other reviews) and I just needed him to do what he says he's going to do. He understood, and anticipated having my supplies in the first week of July to install the second week. He did mention that the 4th of July might throw things off. Later the same week I realized I'd be out of town the second week in July...making it the perfect install week. I emailed Jon and offered to pay expedited shipping to ensure delivery of supplies on time. He said he checked with his supplier who didn't think it would be necessary. You probably can figure what comes next. Beginning of July came and went. They did not return a txt, call, or email. On Monday July 9 I emailed saying that if I didn't hear from them by close of biz I would dispute the credit card charge. I didn't hear, so Monday night I called Amex to file a dispute. They credited me and opened an inquiry. Tuesday morning I get an email from Jon telling me they'd gone on a long weekend to Mexico, been robbed, lost passports, phone, etc. they expected to have phones and IDs replaced Wed a.m. and would check on my shipment. Obviously I was skeptical...but wanted to give every chance, AND remember my friend had been happy with them. So I responded that I was sorry this happened, but I needed verification that they'd ordered my cabinets and a firm install date by end of week, July 13th. No response, no nothing. I'm stunned! They have good reviews here, although most are over two years old. There are two 2018 reviews. One is a story just like mine. I would not use these people. Thank God I charged the deposit and was able to recover it. I don't know what happened...they've had a biz license for 9 years...but something clearly wrong here.
