These guys came in and did the most careful floor refinishing job I could imagine. They removed all the dirt and yellowed finish on our travertine, even getting out small tools to do every last part of the corners. They also took time to explain proper floor care to us in order to avoid any future damage or coloration to the floor. These are definitely good guys. read more

Just had porcelain tile that looks like beautiful hardwood installed in the bedrooms including master bedroom with master bath, toilet room and Master bedroom closet. IT IS BEAUTIFUL! Kasee instead of apologizing for not one but two delays because she didn't order enough materials she posts negative comments regarding the customer, including threatening remarks. it looks like she has several complaints regarding not ordering enough materials and attitude. All things considered, our experience with Las Vegas Flooring has been disappointing and frustrating. Apart from speaking with what seem to be some delightful people, the whole operation at Las Vegas Flooring seems riddle with an inability to coordinate, communicate or manage across departments and procedures. Our carpet install was postponed two weeks because the carpet was two feet too short [discovered the moment the installer rolled it out on our floor], our tile install was delayed because the representative failed to present the grout color selection at the time of our tile selection, the showroom representative presented us with a carpet selection that was not in accordance with the specifications from our insurance company which resulted in yet another delay. We are working with a restoration company that apparently sub-contracted this work out and Las Vegas Flooring was chosen for our tile and carpet. Nice people, but company seems plagued with failed operating procedures, poor leadership or both. Would not recommend. read more

DON'T USE LAS VEGAS FLOORING FOR YOUR FLOORING NEEDS. Had some water damage back in December 2017, had a restoration company come out to do the dry out by the name of Belfor Restoration out of North Las Vegas, Sven was my agent working with me. He told me they partner with Las Vegas Flooring and I was introduction to Kasee. After many months I finally received the insurance payment mid March. After many phone calls with Belfor, Sven I was ready to get started with the repair. Kasee originally came out the first time and we discussed the tile install and my options on materials and costs. I wanted her to price several rooms as a part of the bid and based on that I would decide what I was doing first. Also I planned on giving her the rest of the work in later months. I asked her several questions because I wanted to make sure on the cost of the installation. I also work retail and I understand that some companies come in and give you one quote to catch you and then turn around and tell you something else when it's time to do the work. I didn't want to leave any room for surprises. The bid we are talking about is $9K. Who starts such a big project and doesn't want to know what it costs?! I went to Las Vegas Flooring on several occasions and didn't find any flooring that I was in love with. Kasee was made aware of that and I chose another competitor product over theirs and it was marble. (I guess that means $$$$ in flooring) I asked her to come over, when she arrived she was on her phone answering calls and text messages. I understand you have other customers but it's my time, show me some professionalism and respect! She wouldn't disclose price for SQ. So I reiterated I wanted all the fees listed on the bid and mentioned which ones. I received the bid and everything we talked about wasn't specified, what a waste of time. Missing rooms, sealing the floors fees. Then when I broke down the bid every single room, removing existing flooring, prices at a different dollar amount per SQ. Super inconsistent. All kinds of costs and extra fees and even things that were included in the first bid all of a sudden are not (example) floor prep for the tile, what the heck or removal of existing flooring! All I know is the bid rose to $12k for 450sq worth of work in a kitchen. Her partner from Belfor, Sven had already gone through the bid and told me what was included. My quote went down south this back and forth between Belfor and Las Vegas flooring it was a MESS, extremely unprofessional from both ends. Each party was saying something different all the time! I'm not sure if it was because I went with someone else's product or because I wanted to be informed of whatever fees may come from putting marble floors. All of a sudden she wasn't available to talk so we could go through the charges, she sent me a text and told me her bid was correct. After I sent her an email going over all my questions on the latest bid, it shouldn't cost $453 to put tile in a pantry that's 3x3. I wasted my time waiting for prices and corrections to the bid and it never came, she never called me or gave me any reasons for some of the asternomical price diffences per SQ foot. I guess I'm not supposed to ask questions or know that I'm being cheated. LP read more

Showroom: Very diverse selection to choose from (tile, laminate, vinyl, etc) and customer service was helpful in making the right choice. We chose vinyl because it 100% waterproof. We couldn't stand the thought of our floor getting damaged again by water so we went vinyl. Our base board selection was also very easy because they helped us through the selection process. We got a 6.5 inch high base board which looks very nice. Service/Installation: Very prompt and very quick service. Workers were very professional. They worked very fast removing all of our old floor boards and base boards. We were scheduled the next day for new installation. They got 90% of the floor down in 1 day which was amazing. We were able to get back to our furniture setup very quickly. The rest of the flooring and all the base boards were installed on the next day. Keith was always prompt returning phone calls and made the process much easier throughout our flooring redo experience. We would use Las Vegas Flooring again. read more

The two stars go directly to the floors that we picked out. The missing 3 stars go to the lack of respect for our home and our time that the installers showed. 2 days- no show while we sat in a hotel thinking they were working. Every exterior door was left open with disregard for our ac. We came home and the floors needed to be corrected. They left an awful mess. I had about 20 flies flying around. They broke the gas hose to my stove and it was leaking gas. They left my outdoor hose in a mess all over my front lawn, turned my grass yellow from putting tools down on it, and left a heap of debris in the middle of the street. They left the extra boxes of flooring right in the middle of the livingroom floor. This is all after the job was complete and they weren't returning anymore. But my floor looks good.. except for a large a scuff in my kitchen. read more

My original quote and deposit on a 12' x 12' tile job were made on 12/6/16. The job was completed 3/ 9/17. During the 3 month process I had delays due to incompetent ordering/install/communication and follow-up. The staff (install and office) are, for the most part, very nice people. They consistently apologized for the problems and gave me an $88 discount. I would have preferred that more effort went into the actual work. About 3' by 3' of the Shaw Engineered Hardwood Oak Flooring in the kitchen had been pulled up due to the dishwasher leaking & damaging the floor. I had 3 companies that carry the same exact flooring bid. Paul Thomas w/Las Vegas Flooring came out on 10-7-16 to bid a whole house replacement for my insurance company(if needed)and w/out hesitation came out again on 11-17-16 to bid only the kitchen. I chose Las Vegas Flooring mainly because of the great customer service I received from Paul Thomas. He quoted $1450 to repair the 3' by 3' damaged area which happened to be the same price to replace the Shaw hardwood w/ceramic square tile. Agreeing to install ceramic tile, I explained to Paul how I wanted to keep the old quarter round to accent the tile & the hardwood in the adjacent living room. He didn't see a problem with this. However, he did state that due to the age of the wood, some of the quarter round might get damaged while being removed but he would ask the installer to salvage as much of the quarter round as they could and that this job would be a 3-5 day job. I paid the $725 deposit & waited for Paul to call me to scheduled the work. On 12-12-16, Anselmo Rodriguez demoed the kitchen floor & placed the old quarter round outside on the back patio. On 12-13-16 the tile guys came & laid the tile. On 12-15-16, Anselmo installed new quarter round and the T-molding. He wound up running out of the new quarter round & decided to install the old quarter round in a small visible section. This looked terrible. It was visibly out in the open & should've been left for another piece to be installed the next day or so. I called Paul twice (on 12-16-16 & 12-17-16), left him a voicemail letting him know that I had concerns about the final work & asked when he would be by to inspect. He called me back on 12-20-16 to let me know that he didn't feel it necessary to come back out to inspect the work & the installer would come back out to fix the quarter round. I also let him know that the T-molding wasn't glued down correctly & when you stepped on it, it made a snapping noise & you could see it swivel because of the height difference of the tile & wood flooring. On 12-29-16, I called Paul & left him a voicemail but he wouldn't return my calls. After multiple phone calls to Paul & the office & finally speaking to the office manager Jenny Wharram, Paul called me on 1-12-17 to schedule a new installer to replace the old quarter round. Carlos came to my house on 1-20-17, installed new quarter round in a much larger section w/real wood quarter rounds, not laminate. I immediately noticed the difference & asked him what it was that he installed. He explained to me that the quarter round that was installed was laminate & this quarter round is real wood. He said he had extra pieces on his truck & wound up using them. I was very confused & called the office immediately, spoke to Leah asking her why the real wood quarter rounds weren't installed from the beginning. Now I have 2 different quarter rounds in my kitchen & can totally notice the difference. She called me back a couple of hours later & scheduled Kasee (one of the owners) to come out & view the work the next day 1-21-17 at 11a. NOTE:37 days after completion of work. I showed her that my whole house was Shaw engineered hardwood flooring & asked her why laminate quarter rounds were installed instead of real wood. She couldn't explain to me the reason & offered to replace the 125 sq ft of laminate w/real wood quarter round. She also explained to me that the T-molding was also laminate & real wood T-molding would be rounded on top. I agreed to not have the T-molding replaced because I was afraid someone would trip w/a rounded lip across the floor. She said she would have Carlos order 125 sq ft of real wood quarter rounds. On 2-3-17, the real wood quarter rounds were installed. I called the office & spoke to Jenny Wharram who said there would be no discount given due to the additional costs of the real wood quarter rounds. I was in shock! I said to her: "Paul lied through his teeth. My whole house is Shaw Engineered Hardwood flooring so why would I agree to have laminate installed. The truth of the matter is Paul & I NEVER discussed new quarter rounds & were going to use the old quarter round. I have been dealing with this for 50 days & I seriously deserve some kind of discount, which you clearly agreed with me last Tuesday when I came to the office to get paperwork filled out & signed by you. This has been none of my fault & I've never known of any company not to inspect the final work. Your representative has ignored me & has NEVER set foot back inside my home after the time he bidded the kitchen". I let her know that I was going to tell my story to the public & submit a complaint to the Better Business Bureau. She sarcastically said "OK" & we hung up. I have filed my complaint with the BBB, asking for the final invoice to be reduced from $725 to $362.50 & am patiently waiting. read more

He came to our house and drew a detailed diagram with measurements and took 1.5 hours to get the measurements and draw the diagram. We were looking to install laminate and carpeting. We told him upfront that we were interested in financing the purchase as well. He then called us and asked us to go into the showroom and we did and picked out several samples we were interested in. He tells us he will get us an estimate the next day. The next day we get a one sentence email saying that due a company merger there is no financing and after all the time spent he couldnt even give us an estimate.
