Last fall, we gutted our house to remodel it completely. We selected SC Plumbing LLC. for all our plumbing and gas line work. This included three new bathrooms. A shower was removed, and a free-standing tub was installed. Some sink lines were changed, and showers were enlarged. The dishwasher and kitchen sink were repositioned. A fireplace with an unusual gas line was taken out. Sean Craig's company successfully completed a heckuva lot of work. Our primary plumber was Ray, assisted by his son, Lance. I don't remember even one day over two months of work when Ray was not on time. Lennette in the office communicated well, always keeping us informed on when someone would be coming over. Over the years, we have had contractors not live up to what they promised us. That was not the case with SC Plumbing. We recently had a couple of minor things go bad from the multitude of plumbing work done last fall. I emailed Sean saying a bolt holding a toilet had broken, and one of the sink's plungers had become disconnected. He had Ray come out in two business days to correct these two issues. A little snafu at the start, for some reason my appointment didn't make it to the books and they had to send a different plumber from the originally intended one, at a later time that same day. Company was hired to move the gasline and to recess it into the wall and to do to move the fridge line etc as well during our kitchen remodel. They did all the water stuff correctly and did it well BUT the gasline was just shortened and not even moved or recessed (most important thing was moving it). The layout we showed the plumber wasnt followed and when i double checked, the gasline was directly blocking the new cabinets. Situation: Had a tub that was peeling (moved in less than 6 months) and wanted a tankless water heater system. Task: Researched for a tankless system and decided to resurface the tub instead of replacement. Contacted Sean Craig's Plumbing and they referred a vendor for the tub. Action: Tub- Allen (vendor for tub) came and stripped the tub and suggested that should be enough; no resurfacing required and offered to fix the damage correctly that was previously botched by previous owner. Water Tank- Sean Craig's Plumbing not only listened to my goals, they asked the right questions. This led us to a different approach and less than half the initial cost I had budgeted. They adjusted the water temp and installed a recirculating pump. Result: Tub- Price came in under initial quote and half the time as well. Tub looks great and better than when I bought it. Upon calling several companies for quotes I found Allen to be the most reasonably priced and seemed very open as to the steps that are taken to apply the substances and minimize the odor from the spray used. I went ahead and scheduled an appointment with him. Allen arrived on time and was very friendly. He came with Louie who did the actual work and was very informative as to what he would do to minimize overspray and odor. After about 2 1/2 hours he was done to my surprise. Allen had mentioned that it would take between 3-4 hours. I know that once you hear that a service was done quicker that what was mentioned you automatically think that some corners were cut. But after looking at the results that was not the case. The tub looked as good as new and even as of now (3 days later) it still looks great. The only drawback that cannot be controlled no matter how much preparation is done is the odor. The odor is very strong especially the first day so if possible try scheduling the reglazing to be performed first thing in the morning so you have all day to air the odor out. I got this done for my master bath tub and after hearing that it would cost more to replace it that getting it reglazed I was glad to have gotten it reglazed instead. Allen and Louie did a great job and the work they performed even comes with a 5 year warranty. I would not hesitate to call them for any other tubs that need updating. read more

I have some old original tubs from the 1950's in apartments. I have tried several refinishing techniques including the products they sell at home depot for refinishing bathtubs. All products I tried initially resulted in a great finish however after several months would chip, fade and peel. I called LV Reglaze and spoke with Allen the owner. I was on the fence as to replace the tubs or try again to refinish. Allen gave me so referrals of which i called. Based on their satisfaction i decided to try one tub. The process took about 4 hours, they sanded out all the imperfections and recoated the tub. Fumes are very strong and took most of the day to dissipate. The tub came out very nice, almost like new. So far I am please with the results. I will update this review as time passes to see if these results holdout. read more

The owner of this company is careless and slow. I was told it would take two days to resurface a two aging, but not in bad shape tubs. It was on the 6th day that I kicked him out. It wasn't so much the time, but the fact that he broke.... A new toilet seat. A new window screen. Both never used, just installed shower heads.. (The over spray.) I couldn't get any work done in the house because of his constant chatter.. One day he couldn't work because he didn't want to ruin his 'good clothes'. He actually laid on the hall floor, to watch his worker do the work, and clean up. (There was a lot to clean up!) Frustrated and now I need new shower heads... at a hundred bucks a pop... Lock your door and call someone else if you ever want to use your tub again. read more
