Since we got there for a late breakfast there was only one other person dining but we've passed by in the mornings and have seen it quite full. We both got the biscuits and gravy with a side of hashbrowns. I'm from the south where biscuits and gravy are staple and these completely lived up to some of my favorites back home. The biscuits were homemade, perfectly soft and chewy with a good density. Loved the hashbrowns as well, which were just crispy enough and didn't need any extra salt. We also got some donuts. I had a chocolate one and it was delicious. I'd say it was different than your typical Krispy Kreme or Dunkin' Donut, but still amazing and fresh! Get there early if you're in search of donuts because they do go quickly. There is plenty of seating, booths and tables. They also have a cooler full of drinks such as juice, milk, gatorades, sodas, etc. Prices are also very cheap! I believe we paid about $13 for two large biscuits and gravy, two hashbrowns, and four donuts. The portions are also incredibly generous. You will definitely be full and might have have some leftovers! Everything seemed very clean too. I look forward to going back so I can try some of the other items they offer.

I asked for sunny side up; I got well‑done. The sausage patty tasted store‑bought, nothing special. The biscuits and gravy were the best part, soft, flaky biscuit, flavorful gravy, though the presentation was odd: biscuit on the plate, gravy in a Styrofoam bowl, forcing me to dunk it like a science experiment. The menu is small, outdated, and missing items. I tried ordering chicken fried steak, unavailable. Maybe for the day, maybe forever. Hard to tell. They also sell boba and trays of Asian food, which makes the identity of the place even more confusing. This shop shines where it always has: donuts and coffee. But the breakfast feels like an afterthought, nostalgic, yes, but stuck in time. Vintage is fine. Tradition is fine. But menus need updating, and breakfast needs more care. Come for the donuts. He was so right. Superior Dairy is temporarily operating out of a small trailer while its classic old building across the street is undergoing renovations. That might not sound like the ideal setup, but the two young ladies working there certainly didn't let it get in the way of providing a great experience. Both were exceptionally friendly and helpful and seemed genuinely happy to take care of us. I somewhat hesitantly asked whether they could make a pineapple milkshake. This was a deal breaker at Cold Stone when they looked at me like I was crazy for asking--I've never been back. Here, though, there was a brief "Hmm..." moment before one of the young ladies said, "We don't have a pineapple shake on the menu, but we certainly could add fresh pineapple to our vanilla ice cream." Sold! The result was an excellent fresh-pineapple milkshake--and exactly the kind of little bit of creativity and customer service that makes a stop memorable. It tasted so good on a hot day! The temporary location is actually quite pleasant, sitting alongside a beautiful park near Hanford's civic auditorium, with shaded outdoor seating where you can enjoy your ice cream. There's some interesting history right there as well: The distinctive building behind the stand is the old Kings County jail, known locally as "The Bastille." And then there's the ice cream itself. The temporary operation may mean simple surroundings and very plain serving cups, but don't let appearances fool you. The cups are plain, but the taste is not. My only regret is that I didn't try the fresh peach. Based on that pineapple milkshake, I have a feeling I missed something pretty special. Superior Dairy was a fun, friendly, unexpected stop on the trip home--and one I'd happily make again.
