A little over 1 year ago I had Luis and his crew remove a block wall, vegetation, and palm tree stump and replace it with a beautiful vinyl fence along the sides and rear of my property. Due to all the crazy rain that softened the ground, our wooden gate collapsed and we needed to replace it stat! My first reliable source to find contractors is always through Next Door. We didn't know if we wanted another wooden gate or vinyl but searched around and found 2 numbers to call. One guy specializes in vinyl and the other does both. Superior fence was the one we ended up with due to our preference for one side of our home to eventually be replaced with all vinyl. The other 3 sides are brick. Bought a new house recently a few months ago and one of the first things we noticed was the fencing situation. The first was the block wall with my behind neighbor was very low which made it easily to see each other's house and back windows. In addition with my right side neighbor our fence was starting to tip over and was rotting in some areas due to ivy that had grown attached to it. So after getting all the other stuff done with the inside of the house, finally had time to address the fencing situation. Called and had about 5 quotes from different companies, pricing all around the same ballpark. The things that set apart Superior Fence with the others: - didn't charge more for tan over white. Other colors options did cost more though but I was very happy with tan - able to do rebar, cement reinforcement and top cap brick removal as part of the pricing whereas some others had you hire out to get that done prior to them taking care of it Both Liz (sales rep) and Luis were very nice to communicate with and answered all my questions as I was going back and forth with different companies and 2 sets of neighbors to coordinate everything. Took 2 full days to complete and it came out great. Love the tan color of the fence as well. I had the pleasure of hiring Superior Fencing to replace a 30-year-old chain link fencing and gates that rusted out and shifted over time. From my first contact with Luis Andrade to the final day of installation, everything was taken care of from start to finish in a timely professional manner. Liz the estimator came out and took measurements and pictures. A week or so later, Juan and Luis came out and dug out the rusted posts and set new posts in concrete. Two days later they returned with a few more men and installed the new gates and secured some of the chain link fence that had been reinstalled incorrectly by plumbers last summer. Luis quickly responded over Yelp to let me know that he was out of town, but that Bryan (his son) would contact me to schedule a walk-through and measure the property. Bryan contacted me immediately following Luis' message and showed up on time, masked-up, and ready to answer all of my questions. I was debating between wood to update our original look or vinyl since it had a lifetime warranty. Bryan talked me through the pro's and con's, sketched up the project needs (new fence, new gate) and illustrated the different pricing between vertical wood, horizontal wood, and vinyl options. He left a pamphlet for vinyl options for me to mull over and also included a little history of the family-run operation. Nice touch- I appreciated learning more about the family business.
