The manager, Brad, has many years experience on the premise and knows how to make it a comfortable experience for most everyone who visits. The board has done a great job of spending limited funds where they are most effective. The end result is just a nice place to spend a couple hours, or more, a couple of days, or more, a week. One of the new additions this year is D'Cappos providing food from the "snack" deck. The everyday provisions are fine and the add ons during the weekend are fantastic!! Jerry brings high end restaurant food to the little shack on the snack deck. Tonight I took Cavatelli with a light white garlic and fresh squash sauce and a delicious Bruchetta home. Can't do that at any other pool I've ever been to. Where did that come from?? The board made another good decision from my point of view. First kudos to whomever within the Woodridge town council who got this gem built. I'm so jealous, as my town's private elitist 1950s community pool (8 miles away) is insanely expensive and comes nothing close to Cypress Cove. What a great amenity for the community of Woodridge. Secondly, hats of to the staff and lifeguards working. I was extremely impressed with the professionalism and eagle eyes of the entire lifeguards crew. We went on a Sunday and arrived 10 minutes before opening. I felt the daily entrance fee was a very fair price for our five hour visit. I also was impressed with the snack shop prices and appreciated that they didn't match movie theater or baseball stadium pricing at all. How lovely that they have kept prices low and not inflated. My biggest concern was cleanliness, and I was super impressed with how well maintained the park is, and the crystal clear pool water was absent any disturbing "odors" that occur at some water parks. I also appreciated that food was only allowed near the snack shops and not allowed into the pool deck areas. The drippings of ice cream cones, wasps and bees chasing sugary drinks, and hot dog mustard stains were absent. The landscaping, amenities layout, and thoughtfulness of the entire park was wonderful. I'll definitely visit again!

A pizza, a smoothie, and a frozen strawberry lemonade. Classic mistake. I just get my pizza, and I go, "Huh, maybe it's just busy." I couldn't be more wrong. I stand there, for 20 more minutes. At this point, I'm a little confused. I start seeing the people behind me get their food and walk away. BEFORE I GOT MY SMOOTHIE AND LEMONADE. My church friends at this point had gotten their food already and finished eating, and i'm still waiting. I decided to ask the lady about it. She nods, and I assume she is grabbing my drinks. She brings back a pretzel. I ask one more time, just to be sure she heard me. She has the AUDACITY to come back and ask me what I ordered. AND ROLLS HER EYES WHEN I TOLD HER I GOT A STRAWBERRY SMOOTHIE AND A STRAWBERRY LEMONADE. Eventually, 10 minutes later, she gives me my strawberry smoothie. But the strawberry lemonade is nowhere to be seen. Ten more minutes later, she comes back with a NORMAL lemonade. I ask anyone if they ordered this, they all say no. So I assume the lady messed up my order and gave me a normal lemonade. At this point, I'm tired and want to get back to my church friends. So, I take the lemonade and walk away, enraged with my experience.

But they also do a fantastic job at hosting parties. They are a top notch facility and staff. For swim lessons, they offer 25 min classes at no more than a 4:1 student:teacher ratio. The kids progress along at their own pace, leveling-up when they're ready (could be after one week, one month, or longer). No matter what, the environment is kept fun yet challenging. And the instructors are all very welcoming, accommodating, and encouraging to the kids. For parties, they do an absolutely wonderful job. For a total of two hours (~2/3 in water, 1/3 out) they are as engaged as you want/need them to be or not. After getting all kids safely into the water they ran them through some fun games and then let them swim for a good amount of time with full-access to all toys/floats. After drying off, the kids ate (food needs to be brought in) and had cupcakes (provided). All decorations, setup/cleanup, and goodie bags were provided. It really was a delightful experience that was driven home by the fantastic staff. We couldn't be happier with the swim instruction provided and the recent party we had here at Goldfish Swim School.

EVERYONE is a big help, if you're looking to get into a trade my advice is go to ETI School of Skilled Trades! Best thing that happened for me was enrolling, now I have the experience and knowledge of HVAC/R and now getting paid $24 an hour at a commercial job.
