    Corn taco meal
    Jeff B.

A friend of mine recommended this store in Moore but that one is a little far from my home. I found this one which is much closer. The tacos are delicious and the price is fabulous!! Only $6 for 3 tacos, beans and rice. They have several different items on the menu but this is my go-to when I want some tacos. The service is fast. They speak primarily Spanish but us English speakers are welcome and they are very nice to us. I've eaten here several times and I always enjoy and leave feeling so full!!! The taco stand is inside a supermarket. It's not fancy kind of similar to the food courts at Target, the mall, etc. Just a great place to get some delicious food. So if you want to try some great tacos and are in the neighbourhood....then stop by and have a bite....or two!!!

Various $1.69 street tacos, after dressing at condiment/salsa bar

I don't normally grocery shop here, as the prices are higher than what I'm used to. But the selection is pretty decent. Pan dulce and meats are plentiful, the former priced $0.69 each. ..The real reason we come here is for the cateria-style lunch counter serving hot authentic Mexican dishes, open until 8 pm. They serve more varieties of meats you can stuff in a tortilla than I've ever seen before. Some dishes have regional Mexican names I've never even heard of. Flavors are outstanding! They even have ground beef dishes, which I've never seen done authentically before, not even in SoCal. The Picadillo (ground beef and potatoes) was sooo good in a taco. The ground beef stewed with various peppers called "Raja" was even better. My only complaint was that the girl at the counter didn't know a lot, we had to just point at a lot of things and hope for the best. Oh and the chopped steak, like carne asada, was tough. They had around 10 different meat fillings and rotate the more daily, which is both annoying and intriguing since each day is a surprise. The taco tortilla size is the next size bigger than your average street taco, and for only $1.69 each. Great value! Condiment bar is on the right side, and it's nice because you can customize the size and fill of your tacos. They even have avocado salsa, the creamy green stuff, but it runs out FAST and I'm guessing by the empty tray they only fill it once a day. Communication at this store can be an issue. My husband had to phone here once, took them 10 minutes wandering around with the phone to find a person who spoke English. The person they ended up finding was a CUSTOMER with no clue of the answers to his questions. I find the market to be clean enough and pretty well organized compared to other mercados. Workers are friendly and try to be helpful...BUT they are understaffed and the checkout line can get long. Last visit a couple of cry baby customers were acting out, getting frustrated and loud, demanding the 2nd register opened. If you do stop in here, be sure to grab some warm tamales from the bin while in line at checkout.

Great grocery store and wonderful food served in their little restaurant inside. They have a meat market, and a bakery here too. They sell great sweet-corn tamales by the front registers. The meat market has several selections of meats and cuts. Some meats are already seasoned. The bakery items are great. The selection is huge and authentic.

    a city street at night

Get rid of the night Manager and Crew. Constantly closes hours before time & never gets orders correct.

I love them so much!! Brewing from Cuba in Oklahoma it's hard to find a place with foods you're use to. They are authentic for sure.

Ambiance: Very loud live music and chaotic in general. More chaotic than a standard Mexican restaurant. One visit, tacos were being cooked outside on a Santa Maria style grill. Food: Birria Tacos are the best thing on the menu. Cheesy, juicy, and packed with flavor. Topped with cilantro and wonderful consommé. The white sauce is a great addition as well as the green sauce. The Pin Wheels are not the best for the salsa. The salsa is mediocre and also spicy. The Surf and Turf Quesadillas are cheesy and packed with meat. The same meal as a burrito is good, but not preferred over the quesadillas. The Ceviche is out of this world. A heaping portion of perfectly citrus and not too fishy. The only meal that was not good was the Marlin Quesadilla. It was too fishy and tasted like fishy BBQ.

Every time I've driven by it's been absolutely packed in the parking lot. The staff is incredibly friendly and brings a whole fun vibe to your table. The salsa is incredible the queso is to die for. It was very busy when we walked in but there was no wait. We were thankfully seated immediately and started off with chips and salsa. The chips were nice and crispy, but the salsa was mediocre. The tomatoes tasted canned. While I can totally get the efficiency behind using canned tomatoes for a busy restaurant, the taste is not preferred. The kids chicken quesadilla plate was a good amount of food! I just wish the quesadilla was already sliced as it was for our 3 year old. The chicken was also bland. Again, the portions were great. My son ordered the Burrito La Herencia with ground beef and this was seasoned well. Again, great portions of beans, rice & main dish. No complaints with this one! My spouse ordered the La Herencia fajita special and felt as if it was lacking. The steak pieces were minuscule and the shrimp was bland and undercooked. The pork chop was thinly sliced which was nice but VERY salty. We were wishing for more peppers and onions as well. Overall this dish was salty, but tolerable! It came with a side plate of rice, beans, pico de gallo, guac, sour cream & lettuce. Served with flour tortillas. We ordered the queso & guac while we were looking at the menu and waiting. I personally did not enjoy the queso. It was thick and had an artificial mouth feel. The guac was decent! Bland overall but I love the taste of avocado. I wish it had more lime and seasoning though since it was supposed to be Guacamole and not avocado dip. I ordered the Steak Mexicano with extra jalapeños and this was very good. Still on the salty side but I enjoy things on a SLIGHTLY saltier range. My spouse thought the steak was TOO salty. The peppers, onions, and tomatoes were nicely sautéed and seasoned. The rice here is also DELICIOUS. I hate a bland Mexican rice. The beans were good too but nothing to write home about. I do wish I was offered a side of corn tortillas. Overall this experience was okay! Not the worst but definitely not the best. The restaurant was beautifully decorated but there was a noticeable lack of music. We were sat listening to the chatter of all the different customers and kitchen noises. We did have the option of booth or table AND they have boosters seats/ high chairs upon request.
