I have 2 Aussie Shepherds who are a bit skittish about going into places like groomers and vet offices. They absolutely loved Supermutts! They were happy and obviously made lots of new friends in the open roaming environment of the salon. I thought there would be lots of chaos and barking with the roaming dogs, but all were very well behaved. And the icing on the cake is that they did a spectacular job with the grooming!! Finding a groomer for a "special needs" pup while away from home for extended periods has not been easy. Only wish I had tried this place sooner. My dog hates the groomer, but not Supermutts -- she gets to hang out with the other pooches and they do such a great job on her too. No one does a Lambs cut like they do! She smells amazing when she is all done too. Don't let the location make you hesitate to call, the pricing is right in line with any other groomer. Sandy can be some what abrupt at times, but she and her staff are amazing with the dogs, I have never left unsatisfied and she cares about the dogs -- and at the end of the day that's what we are truly looking for in a groomer, right? read more

Today took our 15 year old Shih Tsu cross to Sandy today. Over the moon happy! Called a portable groomer to come to our home as we were worried as our baby has had the same groomer at home for 14 years. He's getting older and not always patient. Our dog flipped out with that. Was a dirty trailer with flies - lady bathed him and that was it! Do not use Gypsy Dog Mobile Grooming!!!! Went to Super Mutts and talked to Sandy and saw the dogs walking freely, dogs being groomed looked happy, and the whole place is just for your dogs. Made our first appointment which was today. Have already made next appointments and will definitely continue to be the choice for our fur baby. read more

I started taking my dog to Super mutts when I met a dog in the park who was perfectly groom. And I mean really perfectly for his breed. Since I have the same breed dog I asked who was his groomer. Whats how I started coming to Super Mutts. I had no idea what a disappointment I will be in for. Every time i take my dog to Super mutts, i would be disappointing by their grooming. I kept coming back hoping one day my dog would be groomed like the dog I met in the park. Nail trimmed- sometimes, ears- never, even after asking specifically to trim. Body- uneven cut. Belly hair- never. Do I have to tell what needs to be done? I thought they were professionals... Today my dogs groomer was Sandy. Since it was another girl before, I thought to my self that today is going to be different. Yes, it was...... The worse grooming I can ever remember. Pictures attached. No one has groomed our rescue cocker other than Sandy. We've had ms Olivia since we adopted her in 2002, and she is groomed every 3 weeks. Super Mutts is a class act. Nuff said. read more

So I'm kinda disappointed in this place. This was my dogs first time ever going to a groomers and I thought this would be a nice place.. The lady who didn't give me her name I guess was the owner seemed nice on the phone but was kinda rude when I got there. It took a couple hour for them to groom my dog.. That's fine but when I got there to pick her up. They had told me they found a few fleas on her.. Letting me know they got rid of them. Bailey (my dog) looked good but it was nothing special. Anyway I get home and she's scratching like crazy.. I look at her fur and don't see anything next day she's still scratching like crazy.. She didn't do that before I took her there. I look closer and she is covered in fleas.. So now I'm spending I don't know how much money on crap to get rid of fleas and doing it myself. Honesty feel like I wasted money on this place. I was so excited she was gunna be pampered but guess not! Next time I think I'll just take her to petco read more

If I could give Supermutts a 0 rating, I would. I have a Lhasa Apso that has been getting poodle cuts instead of lamb cuts. Today my husband took notes as to what to tell them exactly how to cut him and they said they knew exactly what a lamb cut was. I said to my husband that if they did another poodle cut, I was done and they did another poodle cut! On the days they were only bathing him, he looked like he got a bath and then stuck in an automatic dryer with no grooming whatsoever. On the times he was getting only a bath and tidy, they charged $27.00 and I would give them $40.00 and they didn't care. We paid almost $50.00 for a poodle cut. That is the only cut they know how to do. There was no pleasing them and they certainly did not care about Nelson who was the most important. I'm done, done, done and I would not recommend them to my worst enemy because I would care about the treatment of their baby. IF YOU LOVE YOUR DOG, DO NOT GO. I also understand they will no longer take large dogs. At least no standard poodles as they are tired of grooming large dogs. Another short comment, we took our dog weekly. If it was once a month I would understand their attitude but weekly, they still didn't care. I also know other people that take their dogs to Supermutts and I certainly will tell them and show them Nelson. AGAIN, if you love your dog, find a place that cares. Our baby is a rescue and does not deserve 3rd world treatment. read more

I have been coming to SuperMutts for a few years now. It was close to my work and they did a fairly decent job even though I found matts right after I picked up my havanese. Last time I took him to Sandy I almost fainted. She shaved my beautiful havanese without calling me to tell me that she was going to do this. If she would have, I would have taken him from there and found a groomer who would have not done that. Yes, he had a few matts but nothing that couldn't have been combed out if someone would have taken the time with him. When he was blowing his puppy coat all groomers wanted to shave him but I found this tremendous groomer who didn't shave him and he was beautiful. I made a point to NEVER have my dog shaved and now it will take a very long time for his beautiful hair to grow back. She even shaved his tail for no reason! It has been 3 weeks since this event and I'm still fuming. Groomers must be told that their precious dogs are going to be shaved!!! The owners can then make the choice to have their dogs shaved! read more
