Our windshield had a tiny pebble chip that was stable for months, but then suddenly expanded to a monstrous crack across half the windshield. To fix this, I called Supreme, based largely on their Yelp reviews, and I'm glad I did. - Their price was competitive (ca. $250 for a Prius) - I was able to schedule the repair very quickly (and they came to me, so I didn't need to drive to some shop and sit around for hours) - They showed up when they said they would - They were professional and neat, and finished in under an hour. What's not to like? The repair was just done this morning, so I can't rule out future problems such as the windshield leaking, falling out, or transforming into a portal to an evil dimension. After calling around, I found Rick at Superior. Most places were too expensive, didn't work on the weekends, or didn't have mobile glass units that came into center city. Rick was able to beat their prices, met me on the Saturday morning, and brought his van out to me. We made the initial schedule by email on a Friday, with a plan to meet Saturday morning. Rick met me at a local parking lot. I stepped in to get some groceries and by the time I came out, Rick was wiping down the freshly installed glass. He only needed 45 minutes to get it all done. He was super friendly and kept me updated on his arrival when he was running a little late. He also warranties the glass for 90 days.
