I cannot believe it myself. This place is amazing. The most important thing you need to know is…read morethis: the people, both staff and students are what makes this place the life changing community that it is. I am NOT A GYM person. However, I was hooked to kickboxing and boxing the minute I finished the first class. Sure, I was sore like nobody's business and in places where nobody has business being sore. But let me tell you, you will want more. You will come back and you will ask for more of that pain that feels so good. Trust me. My heart has never beat so fast, nor hard and I have not sweat this much at Bikram yoga. I seriously had an adrenaline rush and a bit of an urge to lay down on the floor for a breather....um, you know, a rest. I wish they had a pool or hot tub because that would ensure that I would never leave (That and obviously work and stuff). The trainers are positive motivators who are passionate about perseverance in fitness and give you personal attention. (Kick Ass, SeaBass) Nothing beats punching out your aggression, getting a great, total body workout all while improving your life.

I'm mixed about Title, because I prefer technical workouts, and this is not that. The focus here is…read moremore so cardio, with some very basic movements thrown in, like planks and mountain climbers, for the warm-up and post-boxing parts. I went through ClassPass, and Bart was the instructor. It was hard for me to not only remember the moves, but also reverse them (I'm left-handed), so I got more of a mental workout than anything else lol. I did break a sweat, but it wasn't much. I needed more, so I literally took a CrossFit class a couple hours after coming here. Things to know: Must buy hand wraps, which are $10 They give you shower towels only after class Three shower stalls Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body lotion, and deodorant available Gloves are included Bring sneakers, face wash, cream, and flip-flops Things that could use improvement: Lower the music so we can hear instructions Provide face towels for class Focus more on form on the non-boxing stuff Provide friendlier customer service Create a warmer, more welcoming environment Possibly include the wraps, like every other boxing studio does? Probably wouldn't go back, but if you're looking for cardio boxing, it'll do.

He was super helpful in getting everyone set up with their punching bags and stayed fully engaged throughout the class. Richard clearly explained the flow of the workout, demonstrated each exercise, and made everything easy to follow. I especially appreciated the one-on-one feedback he gave during class, which really helped me improve and correct my form. Glove rentals are only $5, which is more than reasonable considering the class was complimentary. The facilities are great and include all the essentials, like showers, and even a free laundry machine! Overall, Hit House has truly inspired me to get back into fitness, and I'm excited to stay active, motivated, and disciplined moving forward.

The glove rental was 5$ which was well appreciated for my friend who didnt have gear, but I also brought my own MMA gloves to use. Lockers and bathroom at the facility were also amazing. You don't need your own lock, and the bathrooms were stocked with a lot nice products to freshen up post class. Hit House really pushed and challenged us - it was a really cool experience to try out their unique Bishop punching bags. A great workout and I loved how I didn't feel like I was pressured to buy more and buy a membership after our class. Tip: if you do the kickboxing & flow class (yoga) grab a towel so you aren't slipping on the fitness mat for the yoga portion of the class.

I've been training under Justin for quite some time now and I highly recommend him! Justin has a…read morestrong eye for technique and is very patient. Justin mixes up the workouts really well with a bit of circuit and strength training added into his sessions. Another great quality that Justin excels at is his high energy and style of teaching. He caters to all levels whether you're a beginner that has never boxed before or an athlete, you're guaranteed to be challenged! If you're looking to learn authentic boxing or Muay Thai in which the trainer actually cares and focuses on teaching proper technique- look no further because you just so happened to stumble into the perfect place. Justin is your guy.

Before training under her, I had spent about a year doing kickboxing for fitness and practicing Krav Maga. With Rocky's help, my speed and technique saw dramatic improvement! Rocky is patient, incredibly observant, and intelligent in her approach. She has a knack for quickly figuring out what needs work and drilling out bad habits, all of which I had developed training elsewhere. She encouraged me every step of the way to do more simply because she knew I could. I can't wait for the next time I can have another session with her! I've also trained with Justin on a number of occasions. His energy and positivity is a boon, and he's quick to enthusiastically provide constructive feedback on what's working and what needs improvement. If you're considering taking any sort of training and are reading this. Look no further. Seriously. Sign up with these guys!
