The beef was CHEWY and COLD and the terri sauce was SALTY. I hate leaving negative reviews, but I feel obligated to share my experience so future customers know what to expect. I ordered the teriyaki chicken bowl and was extremely disappointed. The bowl was approximately 95% rice and 5% chicken, with no vegetables included. The teriyaki sauce had very little flavor and seemed to add more color than taste. The chicken itself was the biggest letdown. It was dry, rubbery, and unevenly cut, making it difficult to eat. The only seasoning that really came through was a heavy amount of black pepper. As a result, the chicken tasted bland, dry, and overly peppered rather than flavorful. Because we ordered the food to go, we ended up drowning the entire bowl in Panda Express teriyaki sauce just to make it edible. It honestly made me sad to do that, but the dish was so bland and the black pepper flavor was so overpowering that it was the only way we could finish it. While I personally don't mind black pepper, I would not recommend this dish for children. I can already imagine my kids pushing the plate away and telling me the "black pepper chicken" was too strong. For the price, I expected a much better balance of ingredients, more chicken, some vegetables, and far more flavor. Unfortunately, this is not a meal I would order again. read more

Came here today for the first time and was really disappointed. I ordered the edamame, which had a lot of salt on top, was dry, and some pieces tasted bad. I also ordered a California roll, but it had very little flavor. We also ordered a bento box with chicken teriyaki, a California roll, and tempura. The tempura was extremely oily and had a bad taste. The rice in the bento box was cold, dry, and hard. The teriyaki chicken seemed like it was taken from a rotisserie chicken and simply topped with teriyaki sauce, rather than being freshly prepared. It used to be friendlv and courteous under the previous owners, but now the manager (or the person in charge) was incrediblv rude. Our standout was the masubi, because it's my daughter's favorite food and it was amazing! We can usually only find masubi on food truck nights in Hollister. The sushi wasn't very enjoyable this visit and it took over an hour to get it while dining in person. Only about 5 tables (including mine) needed service since no one else was dining in at the time and it was a ridiculous amount of time. Server was nice like usual, I see her often. We are new to Hollister and looking for a good sushi restaurant. Supreme Sushi had pretty good reviews on Yelp so we were excited to try it. Unfortunately, we never even got seated! We walked in and completely ignored. Nobody greeted us and there were 2 sushi chefs at the bar, one woman standing at the counter, and several servers that passed us while we were standing there. I ordered the chirashi. It was disappointing. A real sushi place gives your 5 to 7 kinds of fish. Here, I got yellow tail, salmon, tuna, and one shrimp. A real sushi place would give you butterfish, egg, eel, and roe, There was no wasabi or white ginger. On top of this, I had to pay 3.5% in credit processing fees. Staff was rude. I walked in to place an order and was not greeted by he guy behind the counter. I stood at the register and waited and waited and waited. The lady was busy packing up another order and said nothing to me. I thought this was extremely rude. The least she could have done was said that she would be with me in a minute. This happened last time, too, with the guy behind the counter. He cared more about looking at his cell phone both times than he did helping a customer. They are rude and do not appreciate their customers. I would not return to this place again. They have a monopoly in Hollister, being one of just two sushi places. It was busy, hustling and bustling from what my husband and our cousin saw. We were so hungry when the food came home so the pictures were a little eaten before I remembered to take pictures. For 4 adults and 2 kids we ordered the following. I loved that they provided all the soy sauce, wasabi etc., without asking. Caterpillar roll, california roll, fantasy roll, Philadelphia roll, 2 item bento box + salad + miso soup, flaming hot Cheeto roll, crunchy roll and a large mixed sashimi. Descent pricing, mixed sashimi was fresh, rolls were all decently stuffed, would definitely order again. Parking is street parking. Seems like the restaurant may be open all day(?)
