    Bouillabaisse simmering on the stove

Sur La Table offers so many cooking classes in their very conveniently located professional kitchen inside the Galleria store.  It was very hard to choose which to do first!  We opted for a Flavors of Southern France feast of Bouillabaisse, salad with tapenade dressing, aioli, and lemon lavender sable cookies.  All were delicious and we felt very comfortable making them with the encouragement of the wonderful chef Tiffany.  The class was a small size so we were all able to participate while being reminded to maintain a lot of attention to cleanliness.  The time passed quickly and we were well rewarded with confidence in our new recipes and skills and a really delicious meal.  The only suggestion I would make would be to see if it would be possible to have stools/chairs available in the kitchen.  It is tough on the back to stand on a hard floor for two hours.  Or, maybe they could put down some of the special mats they have elsewhere in the store where people have to stand for a while.  Other than that, we had a great time and look forward to booking many more classes in the future.

It's Pasta time! Chef Julia was a great teacher and made the experience great. I got this class as a birthday gift for my daughter who is a great cook! This was our first time taking a cooking class, and we will definitely be back! Chef Julia led us in making Papardelle and Farfalle pasta , sausage ragu, and walnut basil pesto. We also made a limoncello gelato, everything was delicious! I highly recommend taking a class at Sur La Table for any occasion, it's a fun time, and a great learning experience.

We took Sur la Table's Valentine's cooking class, doing it as a family (all adults) and it was amazing! Chef Mary Beth was engaging, friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable! They offer different menus for different classes, our class consisted of: - Arugala salad with butternut squash, hazelnuts, pomegranate seeds and dressed with an amazing shallot vinegarette. Topped with burrata. - NY Strip with fresh herb butter on top - Lobster risotto - Vanilla ice cream with dark chocolate nibs + fresh made whipped cream with a touch of cinnamon + flambe of bananas Each course was fun to make and we did it all in about an hour and a half and then spent the last half hour pigging out.... Yummm! Highly recommend doing this, even if you already know a lot about cooking, you can always pick up on something new.

Awesome! I took a sushi cooking class with my mom. The chef was very informative and guided the class through the steps. My sushi did fall apart, but that's because it was my first time making it. No matter, because it was just too fun and delicious! I would take a class here again :)

Visiting Galleria yesterday we popped into Sur La Table and looked at the many Thanksgiving special plates and dishes well laid out. There were lots of other items fir the house and my relatives picked up a few. Nice to see Thanksgiving crackers. First time I have seen those.

I return to this store because of its personal nature which Williams Sonoma (in this mall) lost years ago.

The team does not follow the store timing. I was here 2 times, and they were closed both times when they were supposed to be open. They admitted, that this is a chronic problem. If you want to shop here, I recommend calling ahead of time to make sure the store is open. 2. I was given a gift from this store, which I wanted to exchange. When I went into the store, I was asked for a receipt. When I explained this was a gift, I was told that they will be deducting 50% as a restocking fee. The item was not put on 'sale.' They were currently selling it for full price. When I didn't understand why there would be a restocking fee, I was told: 'This generous gift was given to you, it was free for you. You should feel lucky. You are being ungrateful.' The store does not PROVIDE gift receipts. So the purchaser could not give me a gift receipt. When I said they were being unfair, I was told they can be fair if I have the receipt. I was then told 'You are the problem.' I never experienced this kind of customer service. The customer service for returns / exchanges is awful. I don't understand why there would be a 50% restocking fee for clothing. I would also like to add, they also said they have a 30 day refund policy. I went to the store the first time within the 30 day time frame. But they were closed - they accepted that sometimes they close early. The 2nd time I went it was a little over 30 days. While the smocking dresses are beautiful, I would rather stop by Neiman Marcus right next door and purchase very similar smock dresses from 'Luli and Me' for half the price. They are extremely overpriced.

Do we recommend My Kitchen & Bath? NO! Our pictures can tell the troubling story of our kitchen…read moreremodel. From the start, it has been an uphill battle. And everything you see in these photos, we had to point out to them! I guess they hoped we just wouldn't notice or would take care of these things ourselves. This project began in Oct with the goal of being done by Thanksgiving. Today is Jan 5th and we're still waiting for some of these problems to be resolved. Our calls and correspondence are often met with silence or being told that the person we are trying to reach is out of the country. In desperation, I even called the cabinet manufacturer to find possible solutions to the unstable island. MK&B responded with an ultimatum that we choose their waterfall quartz counter design or we would be charged $4000 for our desired cabinet material support panel alternative. Even as we wait for them to complete our kitchen job, we receive their marketing emails. The only thing they have been prompt about is requesting payment. If you hire them, expect plenty of change orders and accept that you are paying more for the very items you may find on Amazon or at the big box stores. As for whether that added expense is worth it, based on our experience we would say absolutely not! Save yourself some money and headaches, and take your business some place else!

We called MKB and were so impressed with the design that they came up with for us -- not only did it dramatically increase the storage space that we have, but the design perfectly matches the rest of our house! May 2nd, 2025 I contacted Bray & Scarff as the range hood was no longer working and requested service under the extended protection plan. May 9th, 2025 Technician came out and said it needs a control board and a switch, which he told me he ordered and it should arrive within 10 days or so.. After several weeks of hearing nothing I called Bray & Scarff service. I was told the part was on back order and they would seek an alternative supplier. Several more weeks passed so I went to the store. They contacted the service department that was not responding to me. Service responded next day and scheduled a service call. June 24th, 2025 Another technician came out on June 24 and told me the part had not actually been ordered, because the original technician probably did not realize he needed to make a phone call to order it. He ordered the part from Broan (the maker of Best appliances) in my presence and I was again told it told it would take around 10 days or so to arrive. July 10th, 2025 I put in a detailed complaint on the Bray & Scarff website I selected that I can be contacted by phone, text or E-mail and the best time for me is ANYTIME. I received NO response. July 14, 2025 I called Bray & Scarff yet again. After a long delay, I was told that the cost of the repair was too high and they would refund me the purchase price of $1950 (the actual purchase price was $2052) and I would receive a check in the mail shortly. THE COST OF THE PARTS WAS KNOWN TO BRAY& SCARFF ON MAY 9th, WHEN THEIR TECHNICIAN MADE THE DIAGNOSIS. August 6, 2025 My wife made yet another call to Bray & Scarff. She was told the check had not been mailed and they would look into it. August 10th, 2025 STILL NOTHING Filed a complaint with BBB Proposed Settlement This is a breach of contract. I expect Bray & Scarff to fulfill the terms of of the extended warranty contract and pay me damages, for the more than 3 months period that I have been without a working appliance and my wasted time trying to resolve the issue, in the form of any difference between the purchase price of a new appliance and the original price, plus the cost of installation. August 24th STILL NOTHING
