Top of the line kitchen store!! Every item you can think of for cooking, baking and entertaining. They offer a lot of different themed cooking classes as well. Not always the most helpful, friendly staff, but very organized, accessible sections that make navigating the store pretty easy.

I took the croissant class with Chef Lanie recently and had a blast! Croissants always seemed a bit intimidating but after this class, I feel fairly confident that I could bake them at home. We did a savory croissant (Gruyère and leeks), a sweet croissant (pan au chocolate), and laminated dough. The recipes were straightforward and the hands on learning really helped to make things clear. Chef Lanie was a great teacher and the end products were so delicious!! I'd be happy to take another class with her in the future. On the day of your class, you can shop for items in the store and get a discount! Awesome.

Just attended the Everyday Bread's class which was as informative as it was fun! We made three kinds of bread and were able to take home some of each. The chef was very patient and helpful!

Chef Deb and Chef Rhonda were AMAZING! I attended a cooking class for a business event and what a blast. They walked us through the preparation of a delicious meal, while instructing us and giving us helpful tips along the way. We then enjoyed our meal together and it was delicious. What a great way to spend an afternoon and I'm looking forward to heading back for a girls night out...

We took a Saturday afternoon cooking class and learned to make dim sum. There were nine people in the class and we worked as two teams, chopping, preparing, etc. I liked my fellow classmates. The class itself was very enjoyable and I liked the instructor, Chef Jen. She has a lot of experience and did a lot of explaining that helped. She showed the ingredients and their brand names and told us where we could buy them (Asian markets). She entertained questions happily and we ended up with great results. Very tasty pork bun, shrimp dim sum and chicken something that I do not recall the name. The reason I gave this only three stars has nothing to do with Chef Jen. It has to do with no seats in the classroom. It was difficult for me to stand up for 2.5 hours, perhaps because I am 74 years old. Please keep this in mind before you book if you are older. My fellow students didn't seem to have any issues, so great for them. This is the reason I wouldn't book here again. It is also a problem to park at Kierland. You have to drive and search and drive and search; I usually do not think it's worth it.

Last night, my husband and I celebrated our anniversary with an Indian cooking class! We absolutely loved it! We learned lots about cooking and had a great time. Meeting new friends cooking together.! They offer a big variety of cookie classes throughout the week from French pastries to holiday cooking classes and lots of other ones! The teachers were absolutely incredible and so was the food that we cooked! We will definitely be taking more classes soon. You also get a 10% discount on anything you buy in the store on the night of your cooking class.! They have a great selection of cooking items and gadgets! They have a huge selection of Espresso machines! I really love this store!

This was our second experience with Sur La Table. The first time they cancelled our class with no notification to us. This time I called ahead to specifically check that the class was still on and to ask if we were allowed to bring a bottle of wine to go with dinner, as they don't serve alcohol. We were told on the phone "oh yes you can take wine! You can take one bottle per two people, we provide the glasses and bottle openers!" Great! NOT! When we arrived with a bottle of wine we were informed that you cannot have wine and so we had to take it back to the car. This should be more specific on their website. It also says on the website that they have tea, water, soda to drink with your meal and all they had was a little water on the side of the room. Two of our chefs helpers called out sick so it was a bit chaotic, very unorganized, and definitely way too large of a class. There were 14-16 people and 3 stations. Then trying to have everyone crowd around the stove top to learn and cook was ridiculous. We just felt like we were in the way the whole time. Also, you stand the entire time even to eat your meal. I would've thought they could've brought out some stools or something so you could enjoy your food sitting at your station. I was expecting to stand for the entire class, just not to eat. Overall, it just wasn't that enjoyable of an experience. Won't do it again.

After doing my homework I went into the store where I met Tony. First of all, he is a great listener, and after only a few minutes had completely understood my situation and objectives. He helped me sort zero in on the right grill, side burner, under cabinets, etc., offering tips as we went for me to like what I saw or keep moving. Bottom line is that he then discounted everything. No way could I ever get that service online nor would I expect to duplicate that price, free shipping on the exact day (a few weeks out in the future) when I wanted it. But here's the icing on the cake: one of the Blaze stainless steel cabinets arrived with door/drawer handles missing. This was the one in a million sealed box that somehow missed parts at the factory. I called BBQ Island/Tony to explain. I assured them that the box was still in my possession and had been searched many times, and they sent via Fed Ex replacement parts - no charge for parts or shipping - to me. Wow. For all the reasons I've explained above, and because I'm so delighted with everything I purchased and had installed, I give BBQ Island my unconditional endorsement!

It appears your memory of the chain of events is skewed, nothing on our part was fabricated attached to this review is a copy of those text messages from you dated 8/2021 to validate the accuracy of my initial review. There was no quote issued, no customer transparency, no continuous updates or communication unless I generated the inquiry, and there wasn't a team as you mentioned it was you alone that I dealt with and no one else. You never said, on any occasion anything about a team and being booked out to September 2021; you lead us along for 5 weeks you never communicated a staffing shortage or covid-19 as a "secret reason", now it is being used as an excuse in your rebuttal nearly 2 years later! Yes, I did purchase the fixtures only to expedite the guest bath remodel which worked out with the other contractor that completed the remodel. We never had a specific start date with your company since I could not get you/Millennium Designs, Inc. to quote the job we were flexible and open to dates if needed. In conclusion, I fired you due to your constant delays and procrastination since you could not generate a customer job quote in 5 weeks. The facts remain as mentioned in my review nearly 2 years ago (21 months). There was no fabrication of events on our part only facts and timelines. There is more fabrication and lack of transparency on your part and it is apparent you take no professional responsibility for your actions. You then blame the customer and make false accusations on their behalf when you actually made false/failed promises to deliver us a quote after 5 weeks of waiting patiently, just do your job and follow through which never happened. Don't tell me what my experience was it was duly noted in my initial review of 8/2021 and is an accurate representation of the bad experience we had with Millennium Designs, Inc. Customers beware this could happen to you. Take this review as constructive feedback and grow from it.

I have visited twice (so far!) and been thoroughly impressed. With my first visit, my bestie and I shared a two-person sized board with no meat, so maximum cheese. We also spilt the turkey and brie sandwich. The sandwich was paired with the most delicious kettle chips as well. For my second visit, I went with the pizza grilled cheese (sans olives) and got a pimento cheese sandwich to go for my mother. We were both beyond pleased with our grub. Of note, right next door to Shea Cheese is Shea Lounge, which is a little bookstore and lounge to enjoy your cheesy items. The installation was the most unprofessional I have ever seen and was unsafe. Below are photos of the marble shelf which began detaching from the wall within 10 days of our move-in. My husband, who is handicapped, had a 40 pound piece of marble dangling from the shower wall. If it had fallen, it would have been a disaster. I contacted Papgano's and their response was to put blue tape on it and to let them know the name of the general contractor. I told them, they had installed it, sent the copy of the invoice provided by the prior owner, and sent photos. Called again, to make sure the received everything . . . no response. Called next day to see if they had received the info . . . no response. Called next day to say I had contacted our handyman to make repairs because it was a hazard and we were unable to use the shower and we would send them the repair bill. That night, during dinner, we got a call from Sasha, who seemed to be their enforcer, who told us -- this is the first she had hear about the problem -- they don't pay third parties to make repairs because I guess they stand by their sub-quality work, -- and the wait time for repairs by them would be 12 weeks. I told her waiting three months to repair the 40 pound piece of marble dangling from our shower was unacceptable and a hazard they should be concerned about. I would see them in small claims court. The cost to repair it by our handyman was $270. I hope this review costs the 10 times that amount in future business.
