Finally made it here! Been obsessed with ube since 2019 and discovered this Filipino food market online a year ago. They have a lot of ube products - I took photos of everything ube I saw except for the McCormick's ube extract which I forgot to take a pic of. I got myself the ube condensed milk, a jar of the ube jam and the frozen grated ube. Also got smoked red herring and calamasi. And my friend shared some of spiced vinegar with us. They also have frozen pandan leaves. They take card and the parking is street side- no parking lot. Service was fine, it was a sweet lady at the cashier. read more

This is your cute, little, local Filipino market, where you'll be guaranteed to hit the ube jackpot. At current, I am on the "tik tok made me do it series." I ventured to multiple franchise supermarkets in search for ube extract to make the infamous, ube brownies on tik tok. No luck anywhere until I stumbled here... jackpot! They have everything Filipino and everything ube! I honestly have yet immersed myself into the Filipino culture; however, I can tell that this well organized local market has it all. There's tons of street parking (no lot). The market is super clean and well organized. Prices are fair. I got ube extract and also some short bread cookies, which seems to be very popular as a Filipino desert/ snack/ pastry. Definitely would come back here again when feeling more adventurous. read more

Small hole in the wall type of Filipino grocery store. They have a HUGE selection of Filipino bakery goods and they all tasted sooooo good. Lots of Ube paste and jam too. Seriously a hidden gem. The only Filipino supermarket in Massachusetts with the only Filipino restaurant right next to it. I would go to the restaurant to get the halo halo dessert ube and some beans in it. But it was closed so I went to the supermarket to see if they had ube ice cream (purple yam) Yes they do! While some stuff is marked up, like ube ice cream, it's understandable since it probably costs so much to ship and they don't buy it in massive amounts. Surprisingly they don't mark up prices ridiculously as they're the only Filipino market in Massachusetts next to the only Filipino restaurant in Mass. Sure Pinoy is located right next to JNJ Turo Turo, the best and ONLY Filipino joint in all of Massachusetts. They are in no connection to each other besides JNJ occasionally buying ube ice cream when they run out making Halo-Halo (fun and irrelevant fact). I was very happy to see that they stock their baked goods with shipments from Filipino Bread House which is located in Jersey City and in my opinion is the best Filipino bakery in East Coast. They have ensaimada, pan de coco, turon, pandesal, ube rolls, and many other ube snacks. As for everything else, the selection is just what you want it to be and more. Authentic Filipino jams, snacks, drinks, spices, etc. The ice cream section is full of ube treats and other sweet pleasures. My only complain it is a bit expensive, but since they are the only Filipino supermarket in MA you can't exactly blame them. read more

5 Stars because they are the only shop that sells such an extension variety of Filipino products. Canned goods, frozen foods (longanisa!! - BREAKFAST!) fish, Filipino Ice cream, Fresh Bakery goods, snacks galore,, spices, noodles...so much more, I can't remember it all! It is worth a visit. But if you don't know how to parallel park, have someone drive you there :) I wish the store was bigger to fit more products. I just wished they sold Calrose Diamond G rice. read more

This place has all of the basic Filipino pantry necessities and a little more! And I would have given them 5-stars, but the employees/owners are so damn rude! It seems like an exclusive bunch, as I noticed they were friendly to their regular customers and any hint of kindness I saw was directed right to them. It's a decent size, but it's really dark and strangely quiet. It's the only Filipino market in Massachusetts is the word on the streets.To be honest, if I found this place in California I would have given them 1 star based on their elitist attitude. read more

This place needs to be bigger...and preferably next door to where I live now.... I walked in and freaked out about almost everything! They had Pandan and Buko Pandan flavoring, Calamansi juice, frozen ube (I've been wanting to make some ube cupcakes), banana ketchup, and all kinds of Filipino pastries! Even my boyfriend got excited about a couple of things (vinegar with chilis, different teas), and he's a native Massachusettsian/white boy! I came here with a couple of friends who were new to Filipino goodies except for the stuff I've introduced them to. They also got very excited about a couple of things as well (like the banana ketchup). We bought so many things, but spent less than $30! I almost didn't believe the woman when she told me my total. I like Sure Pinoy. However, I do have to agree with other reviewers that the staff isn't the friendliest. Still, since they stock everything the Filipino cook needs, I can't complain too much. I go a little crazy whenever I stop by, just because they have so many delicious snacklets that you can't find anywhere else. They have ube ice cream, shrimp chips, hopia, and pan de sal for days. They've also got tocino, longanisa, lumpia wrappers, shrimp paste, frozen empanadas, frozen bangus -- pretty much everything you need to satisfy your Filipino cravings. Like a lot of small stores, Sure Pinoy has a $10 minimum for credit cards, so keep that in mind if you're only planning on picking up a few things. The prices are reasonable, and again, you can't beat the selection. Make sure to stop by JNJ Turo Turo next door for lunch; that place is AWESOME. read more

I sincerely appreciate this place for being the only filipino market in MA! For a tiny space they manage to have a great selection of filipino products ranging from traditional kakanins (delicacies), frozen meats/fishes, condiments, snacks, ice creams, house supplies, personal hygiene/beauty supplies - everything you need and more!!! Their prices are also much cheaper compared to Kam Man's, which also carries some filipino food products. On the slightly negative side, I think they could seriously use more parking spots. Also, the ladies that work here could pretend to look a little more happy and welcoming to customers. Every time I come here I try to talk to them nicely in tagalog but they barely ever respond :( read more

Small place, lots of selections. Only sad that they stock just a few boxes of what we want (instant mami and canton). Love the skinless longganisa though. They sell them at a higher price compared to Pinoy stores in San Diego since they grab their supplies all the way grom New York, I guess it's reasonable. read more

Probably the only Filipino market in Boston area and surrounding, which is crazy. They have a good selection of things. Wish they had a bakery and expand more on that. But they do have the essentials so that's comforting for someone away from the motherland. read more

Full of fun things you definitely cannot find anywhere else in Boston (even the other Asian grocery stores!) They have everything from frozen foods to pastries! I always feel overwhelmed walking in here trying to decide what thing I want to try next. When I go to the JnJ Turo Turo restaurant next door, I usually stop in here afterwards. They've got lots of Filipino-specific items that aren't available anywhere else, so it's a decent place if you're jonesing. It's peculiar though. The two women behind the counter aren't exactly hostile, but common pleasantries are conspicuously absent. Even a simple "hello" would go a long way. I find that very odd seeing as how they're a public-facing grocery/convenience store. Maybe they're embarrassed by their lack of English skills (I can't tell because they NEVER talk). I like their assortment of pastries and bread deliveries... it's a bigger variety than the offerings at the only other Filipino shop in the area, the Chinese-American Mini Mart in Cranston. read more

This is the only Filipino store in MA and I'm very grateful. I need my Filipino ingredients and food choices. They have frozen Filipino goods as well. My husband can now have Daing na Bangus at home for breakfast - his favorite. The cashier is very nice and helpful - like how Filipinos naturally are. Seeing some of the products brought me back to my first visit to the Philippines in 1989 (SkyFlakes crackers, dried mangoes, pan de sal, banana chili sauce, Eskinol, etc.). This is the only "pure" Filipino grocery in the area and they pretty much provide the essentials. They have frozen bangus, longganisa, tocino. They get new goods from New Jersey every Friday so if you want to stock on bread, etc - visit them on Fridays. The cashier is unfriendly, by the way (hence the 3 stars). You can get all your FIlipino grocery necessities here but won't get any kind of customer service. read more

I agree with the other reviewers that the employee/owner was rude and didn't even say hi or acknowledge people , they do have the basic Filipino stuff you need for cooking and bec they are the only Filipino store we know here in Massachusetts and I just moved here a week ago , I was craving for lumpia and pancit bihon and thats the reason why I really wanted to check out what they have.
