This place has a historical feel, like an old friend you have not seen in years, but when you do, you pick up right where you left off. There are a variety of beers, ciders, mixed drinks, whiskeys, and wines literally on tap. You can get as much as your heart desires. The room is large, and can be noisy, but you can find hideaways where the crowd and others will not bug you. Downstairs is a good place for groups to gather and play Corn Hole and other games. Pizzas are VERY good, and they are usually get cranked out at a good pace, so you will not have to wait long. There is outdoor seating, with a fire pit and TV, but it was raining when I visited, so indoors I went. The restrooms are modern and do the job. I very much like this place and have returned a few times when I visited friends. Try it. My only gripe is live music is very loud. due to the hard wood floors and walls. read more

Hosted my 10 yr class reunion with Sure Shot Tap House in the Butler Room! The space was very spacious and accommodating! The staff were super great at telling us where to go since I had not been to the establishment before. The set up was perfect for the reunion for people to have their own tabs and serve themselves! We eat here fairly often. Good food and always a nice selection of beer. (Glad that they always have Guinness on the tap wall). It is a place that has improved and gotten better over time, and that shows management that cares. The ONLY suggestion we would have is less IPAs and more good lagers on wall: Wiehestenphaner, Shiner Bock, Modelo Especial, Peroni, Spaten, Hofbrau Dunkle just to name a few. read more

I have eaten all over the world and this place is in my top 10 worst places EVER. The concept is horrendous...seat yourself, order form a QR code, get your own drinks and food when it's ready. Need silverware and napkins, get those yourself too. My wife's fish sandwich that was supposed to come with home made tartar...haha, not unless they made the tartar and injected it into a packet that says "Tartar Sauce". And let's not forget the 2 half slices of American cheese product barely melted on top. Top that off with barely cooked fries. My BLT wrap was lots of lettuce, a little tomato and bacon bits of dust...not a slice or 2, just crumbles that fall out as soon as you move the wrap. The onion rings were house made and tasted ok. Oh, and when you go to check out, the first tip box preselected is 20%...what a joke, 20% and I did all the work, except the cooking but that I'm sure will be coming soon. The place has a nice bar with nobody working it. C'mon people, get off your a$$es and man the bar, get some servers and take care of the customers, instead of them taking care of themselves. Rented one of the game lounges upstairs by the arcade and it was worth every penny. Only $50 for a private room up to 25 guests where we coukd leave all of our coats etc and have a place to rest and eat our pizzas, etc. Right next to the arcade. Kids had an absolute blast! read more

I just experienced the best restaurant that is an introverts dream! Sure Shot Tap House in downtown Greenville is *chefs kiss* The lady I had to talk to to learn how things work here was extremely nice and patient However, when I return I won't have to talk to anybody and that makes me a calm, happy person! You can order from your phone at your table. You can pour your own drinks (Julian and I had soda that we poured ourselves, but they have taps of beers and other drinks you also pour yourself), you pick up your own food (which is so delicious!! ), you can get your own napkins, silverware, condiments, to-go boxes, etc., you can pay your bill from your phone, and the patio is so nice and cozy! The inside wasn't noisy or too hot/cold. They play really good music! It looked like they had some arcade games too. The prices are fair, also. It was less expensive than a few Maid Rites (I love Maid Rites, also!) and milkshakes or even meals at a fast food drive through. I will absolutely make this a regular spot. I don't know who the owners are, but it seems like they took a chance in the self serve method and I love it! Sure Shot is your one stop shop to try craft brews hang out with your friends and just have an all around good time. With 46 taps on the wall it's hard to not find something you'll like. Sure Shot is a pay by the ounce tap house which is really cool if you want to try a lot of different stuff. Once inside you stop at the order station and open a tab with any credit or debit card you would like. After that you will be given a tap card, you can proceed to the taps and place you card in the reader at the taps and begin pouring. There is an LED screen at all 46 taps that will tell you about the brew and tracks your pour. They have a little of everything on tap. Wine, stouts, IPA's, margaritas, domestics, ciders they have it all. Everything out of the taps is sold by the oz for instance I tried a Higher Purpose Stout that was $.43 an oz. They provide pints and flights that are available to grab from the shelf under the taps for self service. No more waiting for a busy waitress to bring you a refill when you are thirsty. Funny part about our visit is as you can tell from the pics we were pretty much by ourselves. Upon cashing out the owner struck up a conversation with us and we asked if it was normally this slow on a Thursday afternoon? His reply "typically it is at 1pm on Thursday since we don't open until 3pm". They had a earlier lunch event in their event room that had finished and cleared out and they had left the door unlocked. Oblivious we walked in around 1:15pm without looking at the hours and just sat down. This is where the 5 stars come in..... the owner came over welcomed us and told us how everything worked and got us started. This is the point where a lot of places would have told us they were closed and asked us to clear out. So we essentially had the place to ourselves. Stopped in after some brewery visits north of Greenville. I have seen this concept before. Basically you give them your credit card and you attain a card that you scan in on each tap that you want to try and then at the end of the night you turn in the card and they calculate how much you have actually purchased. They have about 30 or 40 on tap that I noticed. Anything from an IPA to Miller light. The atmosphere was casual and it appears to be in an old warehouse and there is plenty of room. Very large facility they had live music on Saturday night and they have a decent size patio. Parking is somewhat limited in back and very tight. I have a truck and it was difficult pulling it in and out of the parking lot but overall is a great experience and I would definitely try again. read more

No reason to be so rude when you don't have to do any work for our group. Not very welcoming to people who aren't from the city- even though my family lives here. The idea of this restaurant and ambiance is great! The only good items we had there were the drinks. The service was decent but it was all self serve for the drinks and you ordered the food through an app. The food was terrible. We shared a bunch of appetizers with our large group. The portions were pretty small for the price that you pay. The onion rings weren't cooked all the way, some of the breading of mush and most of it just fell off when picked up. We had the breaded mushrooms and they were also undercooked and the breading was mush. We got the buffalo chicken dip and you could tell the dip had been made a while ago. Also very greasy. Finally we got two different kinds of boneless wings. Buffalo and the garlic version. The buffalo tasted like old butter and not buffalo flavored. The flavor of the garlic version of the wings was decent. For both wings you could tell they were frozen nuggets and may have been a little freezer burned. Would come back for the drinks but definitely not the food. The concept of the red is great but they should take a peek in their kitchen. read more

The tap wall is excellent and the variety is great. However, the man who checked us in was rather rude and short with us. Completely unhelpful to us newcomers. Our servers were kind. They somehow lost our food order which was not a huge deal but might be for some. The food was average at best. The beer cheese was tasty but our pizzas had burnt edges. Black and crispy. The Chicken sandwich was very average, served on a cold bun. We won't return to eat there but might visit the tap wall after dining elsewhere. read more
