I've made it my life goal to try every coffee joint in Nashville. It's a hard job, I know. That being said, I keep messing that up by being a repeat customer at surefire. The staff is absolutely friendly, I would dare say hilarious and hospitable. They even make my rough around the edges husband giggle. This place screams local and that's always fantastic. They really craft these drinks with time so don't expect super speedy service, it'll take a few minutes, but I actually enjoy that because I know it's just not being thrown together. This place is kind of out of the way for me but I know it's a good one because my husband always requests we go there, and as previously stated, he's a tough nut to crack. This is a solid coffee spot in Germantown, one of my all time favorites. The patio is a great place to do some work, catch up with a coworker, meet a client our enjoy the great weather we have here in Nashville. There is free parking along the street but you also have the option of having your parking validated at the window. All manner of coffee, speciality drinks and even a lavender lemonade. BREAKFAST ALERT-they just added breakfast burritos, my favorite is the one with bacon and cheese. Great flavor, the right amount of cheese and a grilled crisp on the tortilla make it one not to miss! The chipotle cream salsa is the right amount of flavor and heat. Staff are super friendly, the patio welcomes your four legged friend and they have pup cups at the ready when you walk up. Stop by and partake, stay and chill converse. Surefire will become one of your favorites I'm confident. read more

Love the walk-up window and the cold brew really hits. Super strong, not too bitter - would definitely get it again. My only beef is that a tiny splash of non-dairy milk added to the cold brew is $1 extra. I realize this isn't an entirely uncommon practice (and I understand an upcharge for *lattes* or milk-centric drinks), but it just seems a bit excessive. Went here with some friends for the first time. I told the barista what I like in my coffee and she suggested a brown sugar cinnamon latte with sweetened condensed milk. That coffee was life altering!!! I will definitely be going back again and again to get more. Plus the place is so cute! The BEST coffee shop in Germantown. From the super friendly staff to that taste of the coffee itself, everything about this place is 5 stars. I've been to every coffee shop in Germantown, but when I come here I know I'm going to get exactly what I'm needing to start my day! The drinks are consistent and never taste different, which I think says a lot to the training and care of the baristas! There are definitely some places in Germantown where you never know what you're gonna get, but surefire is not one of them. Also a huge plus that they are dog friendly!! Not normally one to leave Yelp reviews, but I was working in the same building as the coffee shop for a week so feel that I can leave an accurate review. During that time I got to listen to and see how they did things. I was super impressed with the way they were consistently polite to the customers and always cheerful. There were many regulars and they generally remembered their names and the customers dog's names. Visiting canines were offered "pup cups". Working in the same building I was able to see the production area better than normal customers who really only get to see it through the walk up window, and again I was impressed with the cleanliness of the place. The workers obviously take pride in what they are doing. Not being a coffee drinker I didn't get anything there until the last day. In talking to a couple of the employees they said they could fix me a Campfire Mocha without the coffee and that it would be like a hot chocolate only better. They were indeed correct and I'm kinda upset I didn't talk to them and try something sooner. If you've made it this far and are in the area I would encourage you to stop by and give the friendly staff and tasty drinks a try. Hopefully you'll be as happy that you did as I am. read more

Surefire is by far my favorite place to get coffee in germantown or really all of nashville. I love their iced matcha, delicious and not the sweet kind from a carton-real matcha!
