The room was adorable and immaculately clean. Bed is comfortable and a nice quiet night of sleep. Recommend this motel to anyone! Much more fun and personalized than a chain hotel. We will be back for sure!

Writing this review because I have never been able to get over the traumatic and humiliating…read moretreatment I experienced at this property years ago. I stayed here to attend a close friend's wedding, but instead of celebrating, I was forcibly removed from the hotel while trying to travel with my medical service animal. During the eviction incident, staff members filmed me on their personal devices while aggressively claiming my dog did not 'look like a service dog.' For context, I live with a severe, invisible cardiac condition (SVT) that causes dangerous heart rate spikes. My dog was trained to track my physical distress to ensure my safety. Under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), service animals do not require a specific breed or a mandatory vest. Management went so far as to hunt down my personal social media. They found a lighthearted, sarcastic inside joke I had posted for friends pretending to sneak my late mother's puppies into another while she was battling colon cancer, and tried to weaponize it as evidence of a 'history' to retroactively justify their real-time discrimination against a disabled guest. Being recorded in a moment of medical vulnerability, forced out during a wedding weekend, and ultimately cyberstalked by hotel management was way too far. It was absolutely devastating. I am sharing this so that other individuals traveling with service animals or invisible illnesses are aware of how this establishment treats its guests.

Didn't hate it. Not that impressed either. 3 stars because it's camping…read more Pros: indoor pool and hot tub. Bingo nightly. Close to town. Public restroom/showers were clean. 2 toilets and 4 showers and 4-5 sinks. The playground serves its purpose. They do supply dog poop bags. Cons: Rabbits everywhere and that means rabbit poop everywhere and dogs are constantly barking. Coaxial at the site doesn't work. WiFi for a dollar a day and it was overpriced for the connection and speed we were getting. Sites are on top of each other. We wanted a specific site. Didn't get it and it stayed unoccupied until our last day. They do not take reservations. At least that's what they told us on the phone. I was also told that 2 weeks was the max stay. Some of the travel trailers looked like they'd been there way longer than that.

Really rundown bedding is ripped even after they cleaned it the previous garbage hadn't been taken out. Boogers on the picture glass. Not enough curtain panels to cover the window. 5 remotes to turn on tV, still didn't work. Kitchen is disgusting too small to do anything in no counter space in bathroom. The slip cover on the couch was sandy. We were so uncomfortable we left. Didn't stay yuck!!!

Drop the needle…read more.. This place spins like a vintage '70s record and old school soul with a fresh new groove. From the outside, you get that classic hotel vibe, but step inside and it's been remastered into something effortlessly cool... warm, stylish, and just the right amount of hip. Now let's talk about the room, clean? No... immaculately pressed. Easily the cleanest hotel room we've ever stayed in. Everything felt dialed in, like every detail hit its note perfectly. Location? Right on track. Price? A total steal and it's like finding a rare vinyl in the bargain bin. Parking? Smooth and easy, no scratches on this record. And the staff... nothing but good vibes. Friendly, welcoming, the kind of people that make you want to stay on side B a little longer. We'll definitely be back again--this one's going into heavy rotation. The record player added a great touch. Grab a vinyl at check in and drop the needle !

Cozy, blast from the past, central location for all that Pacific City has to offer. It really does…read moreremind you of something out of a movie, the entrance into the central courtyard giving motor lodge vibes. The location right on Brooten is perfect, you can't miss it. The man staffing the office when I checked in on a Thursday night was really nice. Not in a forced way, nor did he seem like he was tired that he does this every day. He was truly kind, relaxed, helpful and informative. And there was a lot of information to give. The record library that you can borrow from is extensive, I barely scratched the surface (not of the records of course!). Having the update of a door code instead of keys was nice. The rooms were generous in size and had everything we needed - desk for piling my stuff on, TV, single serve coffee maker, two beds, bathroom, mini fridge and microwave. Couple notes that really don't count against the place but just to make one aware - the beds felt like maybe they weren't quite queen sized but almost full sized? I don't know, I couldn't figure it out but then again, I haven't slept in a queen in awhile. But they were comfortable. Also, where the coffee maker was, on the desk under the TV, there were no outlets. Two blank outlet covers under the desk and the outlet being taken up for the TV but no outlet for the coffee maker. I ended up putting it on a nightstand. Works fine, just a weird thing. I really loved the faux-vintage mini fridges and in some rooms, matching microwaves. Location of this hotel is great, you can walk to most things quite easily. No sidewalks, but that's ok. I would stay here again!

The room had no TV, on purpose and that was just fine. My room overlooked the bay, had a small balcony and the weather was nice enough when I arrived that I took full advantage of the view. It overlooked the Depoe Bay harbor. Each night I used the lobby/lounge area for some peaceful journaling. The morning breakfast option only included fruit, granola (with milk - dairy or almond), and coffee or tea. The lobby has a microwave, dishes, bowls, and silverware available and a small selection of drinks for purchase on the honor system. If you're looking for a unique, peaceful stay on the coast, check out SCP Depoe Bay. I would stay there again.
