I called and they scheduled a consultation appointment for as soon as they could. They do book up quickly since they are quite busy (I think that's a good sign). They are closed on Fridays. I wasn't sure what to expect. They do have good reviews on Yelp so they were 1 of the 2 orthodontist offices that I was considering. It also helped that our dental office referred Burke and Redford. We arrived a little late and checked in electronically. All the employees at the office were so nice and friendly. With the holidays and us just returning from vacation, I didn't get a chance to complete the paperwork online. They were like no problem and just gave me the paper form to fill out. I worked on the paperwork while they took x-rays for my 6 year old. We were being referred because our dentist saw what looks like a tooth growing over an existing tooth. To give context, my kids were over being in the office even before we got there. They wanted to do something they considered more fun with their time. Keeping in mind my kids not wanting to be there. Dr. Redford was super nice and patient. He asked and listened to my concerns. He then reviewed the images with me. My son didn't hold quite still so he wanted to have him do one more image to be completely sure before giving his recommendations for next steps. I thought Dr. Redford was very knowledgeable and professional. While we discussed my concerns and reviewed my 6 year olds images. They didn't waste time and took my 10 year to get his images taken.

I had a filling on a tooth and pointed out during the exam visit another tooth that appeared dark and was told it was fine, come around to my 2nd annual visit the hygienist pointed the same dark tooth out and now I have another cavity that needs to be filled. Previously I had a tooth that had a deep cavity and they attempted to just fill it when in reality had to get a root canal done, and inevitably got a root canal by another dentist because the pain had become unbearable, also costing a ton of money out of pocket. I've initially had a good experience but these last two major issues have made it so I'm considering other places.
