As a local whose family has been part of the Waianae community for five generations, I can confidently say that 80 Percent What You Eat holds a special place in my heart. Growing up in Makaha, I've watched our neighborhood evolve, and its businesses like this that keep the authentic spirit of our hometown alive. My order never changes: their signature acai bowl, without granola, and a generous amount of peanut butter on top. It's pure perfection. The creamy, rich acai paired with that smooth peanut butter creates the most satisfying combination that keeps me coming back week after week. What I love most is how this cafe represents the best of local Hawaiian business - fresh ingredients, genuine aloha spirit, and a commitment to serving our community healthy, delicious food. Take your order to go and soak in our beautiful west side atmosphere while enjoying something that nourishes your body and soul. With deep roots comes a real appreciation for businesses that truly serve the community. Supporting 80 Percent What You Eat isn't just about getting an amazing acai bowl, it's about investing in our neighborhood and keeping local businesses thriving. This place proves that eating healthy doesn't mean sacrificing flavor or community connection. At the end of the day, I believe eating high quality ingredients will optimize longevity and that we should never place a price tag on health. Aloha!

Finally checked this place out today with my coworker during lunch and i've BEEN hearing a lot of great things about this place and been wanting to come here. I'm glad i finally was able to check this place out!!!! The atmosphere was nice, clean, chill vibes and it smelt really yummy! The customer service was welcoming and friendly. I got a turkey pesto panini and it came with salted chips on the side. It was delishhhhhhh!!!!! I'm so excited to eat here again. I highly recommend this place. There's a lot of vegan/vegetarian options as well. The perfect place to get some healthy eats!

I found this place by accident my pass it every day I go surfing out in Makaha and what a great joy has been to find a nice place that's classy and healthy on the west side of Oahu. Great staff very attentive. They have a cleanse that they do. It's just beyond cleansing if you can get through the whole thing then you're a better man than I am. I usually cheat a little bit, but it definitely works. Their coffees are fantastic. Their place is fantastic. You can't beat this place on the west side

The tropical acai bowl is definitely delicious hands down but for the size its pretty expensive. Banzai Bowles in Haleiwa gives a bigger size bowl and cheaper.

Sucker for honey. And I had to check this place out with the amount I am in Mākaha.

This place was good. The staff was friendly and helpful as to what the details of all their fresh products were. It was very tasty. I feel like it was expensive but I think only because this is just the world we live in now. Its expensive to eat fresh and to eat locally. I do wish I knew how much the honey was that I bought. I could probably look it up but based on my other items I have to assume it was $20-$25. But to be fair I am a sucker for fresh honey and jam and the such and I am also an impulse buyer. SO not really their fault. But it should probably be listed on there.

This was My First Time Ordering From This Restaurant & I'm Impressed! I Only Got to Try The Açaí Berry Shake, But I'll Definitely Be Back for a Taste of Their Whole Menu. I was Greeted by The Two Co-Workers on Duty and Complimented Them on The Smoothie That They Made. The Shop was Very Clean & Well-Kept. I Can't Wait to Visit Again!

Very cute açaí Place in Oahu, I was a bit surprised how pricey it was compared to the USA. Overall açai was OK, I love the touch when they put the flowers on top of it, but I don't think I would go back because it's just overpriced. The ambience is nice since it's right next to the ocean.

5/5 Stars - Absolute Gem! The vibes at 80 Percent What You Eat are impeccable! This hole-in-the-wall spot is one you absolutely shouldn't pass up--trust me, your taste buds will thank you. The menu is massive and so diverse--there's something for everyone, whether you're craving a fresh fruit bowl, juice, or something hearty. One of the coolest things? They offer local honey to drizzle over your fruit bowls, which takes everything to the next level. The inside is clean and inviting, the staff is fantastic, and service was lightning fast. We tried the Tropical Bowl with local honey--and WOW, it was to die for. Perfectly balanced, fresh, and flavorful. We also had the Beets Me fresh juice, and it was EXCELLENT--super refreshing and just the right amount of sweetness. This place is officially getting added to my favorites list! If you're in the area, don't walk--RUN!

This place had great vibes and loved all the fresh fruit and veggies! Both my juice and avocado toast were delicious! It is a drive to get there if you're not already on the west side of island, but a great stop before heading to the beach.

My kids loved this place. They just wanted açaí bowls and adding peanut butter on top, because you know, that makes it great! Staff are so helpful and are informative of all ingredients included. It is all fresh and made on site. There is a table inside and one outside to sit if you wanted to stay and eat. I recommend taking to beach to enjoy! Parking is easy and price is reasonable. Plus, edible flowers. Yep, it's true.

We had to wait a little longer due to there being only one employee. She was very nice and apologetic for us having to wait, but we were in no hurry at all. We felt bad because she was all by herself. She did her best and we were satisfied with her efforts! Got a couple stuffed crust pepperoni pizzas, couple pan pizzas, 2 orders of garlic Parmesan wings, 2 Philly cheese steak papadias, a few orders of cheese sticks. The shop was clean and orderly, the girl working by herself was very friendly and cordial. I was very disappointed with her being there by herself. For safety reasons I hope that doesn't happen often. Everything we purchased was delicious and we will return.

The atmosphere is laid-back and focused on community, embodying a local vibe that truly represents the West Side instead of mimicking a trendy Honolulu idea. The overall experience at Kaʻahaʻaina Café was truly something I valued the most. The vibe was relaxed and inviting, allowing for a seamless transition into enjoying the meal. The service was not only friendly but also efficient, with the staff contributing to a warm atmosphere that perfectly complemented the café's local vibe.
