Ok this place is awesome. The freshly prepared food makes a big difference. It's cooked from scratch and well worth the wait. The Primo Burritos are a solid pick. I have had the Fat Panda, with the wasabi mayo its excellent. The Dragon Fire Chicken Dumplings to start were an excellent choice. Wings are very good and choice of sauce is a nice and not a war and peace novel of selections. The adult beverages of the mixed cocktail variety are well thought out and blend for a great drink experience. Desserts are of the tropical flavor, but don't expect the norm. What to do on a warm-ish fall day during covid era？ find a spot that does outdoor seating close to home. The boy had a hankering to go out to eat and this spot was close to home. We had gotten to go previously here and was happy with the take out burrito and fish and chips so why not have another go? The boy got surprise surprise fish and chips and I got a rice bowl with mahi. The only picture I managed to procure properly was the cesear salad-- oops! The cesear salad may have had a touch too much black pepper for my taste and sadly lacked croutons, which are my favorite part of the salad otherwise was pretty good; nothing to brag but was a solid choice for a starter salad. The boy's fish was flaky crispy a d breading was just right. The fries came out better this time as compared to last but I mean fries are much better crispy right out of the fryer not in a box collecting steam. The fish and chips also came with a small (tiny) cole slaw. The boy doesn't do mayonnaise and cabbage together so I ended up tasting it-- again ok but nothing spectacular. The rice bowl I got had veggies, mahi mahi and seaweed salad-- to me again ok nothing spectacular but nothing bad either. Not quite my favorite as I didn't realize it had pineapple in it, not a super big fan of cooked pineapple in stir fry but not horrible. I thought the seaweed salad would Be weird mixed in but no not bad. My bowl came out to be around 15$ which may be a bit steep relative to the piece of fish that was served with it but by the time our food got out it was pretty dark and the twinkle lights while provided ambiance and a little bit of light didn't illuminate my bowl, so perhaps I did get a larger piece of fish than I remember. For covid, this place is socially distancing everyone both indoors and outdoors. All staff were wearing masks and indoors they had hand sanitizers on all the tables. Outdoors didn't have hand sanitizers but each table was spaced appropriately. I can't comment on how they clean indoors as there was no one inside but outdoors they were using some strong smelling disinfectant to clean-- reminds me of the cleaning solutions they use in the hospital. Not my first choice of smells but hey it's covid and at least they are cleaning properly. read more

Quality casual restaurant food served at fast casual speeds. My spouse and I were warmly welcomed upon entering. The atmosphere is bright and colorful. Web was our server. He was very helpful by listening to us then making what turned out to be excellent suggestions. We enjoyed the Crazy Coconut Mussles. The generous portion was loaded with about 10 mussels in a well seasoned broth full of vibrant vegetables and of course shredded coconut. My Teahupoo Burrito was bursting with palet pleasing flavors. The Big Kahuna burger was very well presented, with an assortment of fresh and grilled toppings. The burger was cooked as requested. The hot fries were nicely seasoned, firm on the outside and soft like a baked potato in the middle. The portions were larger than expected, a very good value. The side of guacamole was very fresh tasting, well prepared. We were full, the total meal was just under $40. The desserts were very appealing, I was over my carb limit so had to pass. We were greeted and seated immediately, our server was Sarah who made the experience exciting from her upbeat personality. We started off with the Thai wings which were DELICIOUS. Moist and full of flavor. I ordered the Shark Bait burrito which had shrimp, bacon and spicy chorizo. It also comes with rice, beans, cheese, and tomatoes (I ordered mine without beans). It tasted good but I was disappointed that there was barely any protein. A few pieces of chorizo only, I didn't taste or see any bacon or shrimp. It would've been way better if there was a proportionate amount of rice and protein. Definitely a different kind of burrito than what I've had. When we got the food, over 30 minutes the food was cold, the bacon on the burger was hard as hell. I'm sure it was old back crumbled on a burger. Being pregnant I was pissed. I didn't even want it anymore. It was a waste of an hour that we spent waiting for the food to come. Stopped here for lunch one day on my home from a meeting. Neither the interior nor exterior are anything that you would really picture from the Capitol region of Maryland. The decor is more like something you would find over by the Bay, but it's kind of cool. I really had a craving for fish tacos, so I ordered the blackened Mahi Mahi soft tacos with a mixed greens salad on the side. As my coworker and I waited, the server came back and told me that they were out of Mahi Mahi and asked me to pick another protein. I really wanted fish, but don't really like salmon, so I switched to steak. The steak tacos were okay. A bit bland, but they were definitely good. The salad was good too, but that's kind of hard to screw up. So that's pretty much it. The food was good, the service was good, albeit $12.95 for two tacos and a small salad is a bit pricey, so what else could you ask for? read more

Pre-Covid, we came here quite often. After a poor experience elsewhere on a Saturday evening, we ended up here. It was very busy and there were a lot of people waiting outside, but there were plenty of seats at the bar. The beer selection is very good, some that are common and quite a few that you've never heard of. The food was excellent! I had fish tacos (Mahi Mahi and Salmon). The manager/owner said they get fish deliveries every day, so you know it's fresh. He was very friendly and the bartenders were excellent. This will be going back into the rotation! read more

Best fish tacos in the area, nothing even comes close! A couple fish choices, you can have it blackened (best imo), delicious avocado sauce, the ratio of fish to tortilla to extras is just right. I've had these on many different days of the week and the fish always tasted fresh. I love fish tacos and stopped getting them from all other restaurants in the area. Also they have some good beer here and a cool beach like vibe and music. The chicken bowl is great also. The tuna bowl is ok - it's a bit pricey and I've had better. The burgers look delicious, haven't tried them yet though. The kid menu is whatever - your usual unhealthy stuff. But man those fish tacos keep me hooked. This place has a very interesting blend of culture for foods as it has Caribbean, Asian, and American. They have a great summer draft beer selection. We ordered the Kona big wave golden ale which has a subtle honey taste to it and very easy to drink and the Uinta mango lime Pilsner which was very crisp and tasted more like a hard cider. For app: Peruvian ceviche. This was mediocre as it's the only reason I'm not rating this place with 5 stars. It had a good blend of seafood but I've had better. Fat panda burrito: (How could you not order it with a name like this?) This burrito is so great! It has bursts of flavor with shrimp, tuna, cheddar cheese and wasabi mayo. It was the perfect amount of salty and savory. I recommend getting the wasabi mayo on the side since it is kind of spicy. The seafood in the burrito were so delicate and great tasting. Fried oyster sandwich: This sandwich comes with a rich and buttery brioche bun and remoulade sauce. This is not your typical sandwich choice but it worked out really well! read more

I loved the crab cake sandwich, and I'm a MD native and somewhat of a connoisseur of crab cakes. Practically no filler, soft, and the crabmeat tasted like it was sourced locally. None of that flavorless jumbo lump crabmeat from Indonesia. The homemade remoulade sauce was great and complemented the crab really nicely. Finally something different in the area that is definitely worth trying. The overall vibe in the this joint is up beat and makes you feel like you're on the shores of cali or even Hawaii. The hostess and waitresses were overly polite and full of energy (not in a bad way). The constant attention by thr staff was above any restaurant I've been to in the last year. Drinks were constantly refilled without even asking. On to the food. From the tacos (Santa Monica taco), to the burrito (Goofy Foot), or even the shrimp canoe were all delicious and well seasoned and light. Individually they are all more than enough food but after looking over the menu once I wanted to try everything. The one I was looking foward to the most was the Loco Moco Burger, a hawaian favorite. The only recommendation I have would be to serve it with slightly more gravy. The side Salsa was well put together but had a little bit to much pepper? Whatever it was it had a little bit of a kick.
