    Lobster roll with Cole slaw.
    Jerome M.

Tons of room at 1600 on a Wednesday. Lobster roll was a good size, tasted good, didn't skimp on the lobster meat, buttery toasted bread and came with several options for a side. I got the Cole slaw which was also good as well. No complaints. Service at the bar was continuously great throughout my dinner there. Good spot!

Reliable and solid seafood restaurant with a wide menu. Love that you can get anything from sushi to traditional seafood, but wouldn't say any particular dish knocked my socks off. Nonetheless a good meal out, especially for a larger group and would recommend. Only notes would be that service was a bit slow and it the value is a bit on the pricier side. The lobster spaghetti was a bit lacking of lobster for one of the priciest dishes!

Reliably great food and service. I've been here a number of times for lunch and dinner, and it never disappoints. The menu only lists "Oysters" but on our bill our half-dozen order was listed as 2x of three different kinds, we'll be sure to ask which specific oysters are available next time and take our pick! Significant parking lot, but it's shared with a number of other businesses so sometimes you have a park a slight walk away from the door.

This was a disappointing experience I had brunch here and for the first 10 minutes, nobody even acknowledged us, even to give us water, even though the restaurant was close to empty and there were three waitresses who didn't look busy. One was cutting something out of a piece of paper. I finally had to ask for a waitress. My food was fine but my husband got chicken and waffles, and the chicken was incinerated. One piece was just a charred lump of breading, no chicken inside. Won't be coming back.

Second try here and it was a full 180 from my first. Had a nice evening here on a rainy day outside. The inside was very cute and clean. We were seated and put in some orders, I'm very grateful for all the gluten free friendly options! I'm celiac and I felt very safe. Every dish for me they said "gluten free". We started with the RI Calamari. It was crispy, some spice and was delicious! Huge huge portion! I thought it was odd to have the marinara at the bottom but still wonderful. For our entrees my mom had the buttermilk chicken. She said it was incredible and one of the best things she ate on this trip. I kept it light with the seafood trio. Smaller portion but very delicious, the scallops were perfect and sweet! Everything was wonderful and I'm so glad for the opportunity to try this place again.

Great location. The venue had plenty of space of and also has an outdoor area. My server Eric was very attentive and helpful. I ordered the Brussels sprouts Caesar salad and ginger scallion shrimp burger. Food was delicious and flavorful. This was a great place to dine and I would certainly come back when I come back to town.

Met friends for a birthday celebration. A couple of us early birds had a drink at the bar--the manager came by, asked if we were waiting to be seated, and delivered an "extra" platter of fried calamari! WIN-WIN! I do love the vibe here and have come a few times in the past. Food and drinks are always delish (which makes up for the terrible parking shortage in this shopping center). Our server, Jeri, was super attentive and checked back often to our little secluded alcove section. The crème brûlée with pineapple compote was the best thing I've eaten all month!

    Sneaky Advertising

Very disappointing and misleading advertising. The sign prominently advertises "Buck A Shuck," but the critical detail that the promotion is only available on the 1st Wednesday of the month is written so small that it's nearly impossible to notice. I only realized the restriction after arriving, which felt like a bait-and-switch. If a promotion has significant limitations, those limitations should be displayed as clearly as the offer itself. Customers shouldn't have to hunt for fine print on a sidewalk sign. The business may technically disclose the restriction, but the way it is presented is misleading and resulted in a frustrating experience.

I came here with a large party for a birthday dinner. I mentioned to our waiter that it was my friend's birthday, but not a single staff member acknowledged it. On top of that, we were still charged for the desserts. Most places I've been to will usually comp a dessert for the birthday guest. Small gestures like that go a long way. As for the food: Highlights * Lobster Maki Rolls * Lobster Spaghetti * Mussels Needs Improvement * Tempura Haddock Tacos: The sweet chili slaw was overwhelming and made the haddock soggy. Serving the sauce on the side would help keep the tempura crisp. * Calamari: There was so much marinara that the calamari at the bottom became soggy. * Crispy Dragon Shrimp: Our least favorite dish. The shrimp wasn't crispy and had very little batter. Our waiter was kind and attentive, and the atmosphere was great, but the food itself didn't leave a lasting impression.

    Mussels small plate 10/10

Amazing service, my server Shannon really made our whole experience phenomenal. I highly recommend the brussel sprout Caesar salad and the mussels small plate. The ambiance and entire look of the restaurant is gorgeous, high ceilings, beautiful furnishings, also teamwork and respect among the staff. From what o observed the senior staff in charge enjoy working together and the younger less experienced and less professional staff get away with their work because they are led by good leaders giving them a chance to learn. This is how restaurants should run.

Great plaza where this spot is located. Nice location near an open back area with live music too. Plenty of parking. The restaurant was well lit, spacious, and busy. The host and our server were both very friendly. The food came out quick and was delicious. We had a variety of food from calamari appetizer to lobster roll to fish and chips to tacos to fish dinner. It was all very good. They also have a sushi bar and raw bar. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the server forgot to bring me my drink that I ordered. In general it was a great experience and we would go back.

We sat in the enclosed patio on a beautiful sunny day. Our server was amazing, very attentive. We got lobster fries, lobster roll and coleslaw. The drinks were fantastic! The sangria with watermelon purée was the first watermelon drink iv actually enjoyed, it's real watermelon not the fake syrup that tastes weird. Definitely going to go back!

The restaurant is located in a busy shopping plaza, you may need to park a short distance from the restaurant. The restaurant has a modern vibe and a reservation is highly recommended. Prices are reasonable. This seafood restaurant does sushi very well. The tuna poke is a generously sized and the shrimp chips complements it well. The tuna is fresh and is loaded with flavors with the wasabi mayo and sweet tamari. The pressed spicy oshi tuna is amazing and really creative. This would be the dish I come back to. The shiso leaf adds a nice interesting flavor and it all goes well together.

Been going here for years, rarely disappointed. Recently they were closed for "renovations" for awhile. That might also mean they changed hands, sold out. In my experience, that is never a good sign, the new owners will surely ruin a good thing, they'll cut back on quality, raise prices, and change the recipes. My best guess is that's what happened to The Lobster Claw. Or they just went downhill. Went here last week for lunch. Walked in, where am I?! They now have a big divider between the seating area and ordering. You're corralled into this area first. The giant blackboard menu is gone. Now they have a small, cramped, menu above the register. I had to squint to read it all. I gave the girl my order which she got wrong THREE times. The Calamari basket, well done I said. I always used to tell them well done because it tastes better and the breading doesn't slide off the fish. Now where do I go to pick up my food when it's done? There's a sign that say's "Takeout Pickup" next to the register. Is that all one word, or for takeout orders and picking up what you just ordered? So I wandered aimlessly out of the dividing area and into the dining area. A window at the end with a sign, "BEER AND WINE." Is that where I go or is that for ordering booze and paying for it? So I sat down at a table and waited for my number to be called. I got my food pretty quick. I asked the new kid, looks like the old staff was not there anymore, for a lid and a bag for my thimbleful cup of chowder, that cost $7.00 by the way, to take home. He acted like I was inconveniencing him. This is after he plopped the tray down and spilled some of the chowder broth onto the tray. Thanks a lot Junior! Sat down to eat. Calamari...not well done. In fact it looked and tasted under done. It was chewy, and the breading was falling off. ONE tarter sauce with it. They used to give out two and then asked you if that was enough. Saving money for the renovations are we? The fries under the Calamari were soggy, greasy, cold, and under cooked as well. I didn't finish my meal obviously because to be frank, it sucked. Later on at home I tried the fish chowder. Maybe at least that will be the saving grace. Nope. It was the consistency of oatmeal, like it was put in a blender. Bland and watery as well. $ 30.00 I'm out for a meal that I could have got at Market Basket for one third the price for frozen fish sticks and a can of chowder that would have tasted better than that disaster. Next time I'm in the area and want some fish, I'll be going to McDonald's for a Filet-O-Fish meal instead. And another one gone, and another one gone, another one bites the dust...don't let them get you too.
