2 large slices of pepperoni, sausage & Canadian bacon. One word! Delicious!

First and foremost, the pizza at this location is to die for! Yes, I understand a large pizza might be considered a-little pricey to some of us! But what I've learned throughout my lifetime is that you get exactly what you pay for (I.e. quality) & you pay for what you get (I.e. quality)! Bottom line is the food is delicious! The service is good! and while the El Cajon blvd spot is small, the ambiance is big!

Mama Mia, that's a good pizza. Chef's kiss! Absolutely exceeds my expectations. Who woulda known this lil mom and pop shop around the corner from my house had some heat. Such good bang for your buck, the quality ingredients and the quantity you get is mind blowing. Def one of fav spots. The San Diegan is a must. The thin crust, and the flavors just blend so well with each other. The staff are so friendly and inviting too. Highly recommend coming here!

First time here and this is the best pizza I've had in San Diego - as a fan of crispy thin crust pizza, I feel not a lot of places nail it but Milo's sure did! - had to take a bite before taking the picture. Sooooo good and came out super fast, less than 5 minute wait time, will definitely come here next time I'm craving pizza! They offer pizza by the slice as well as entire ones. This establishment also has parking, a few tables, and was very clean. No complaints!

Not an expiration date, insight! And was denied these prices such a shame

Absolutely Horrible customer service experience with this pizza place. I have a door hanger flyer that I've had for maybe a year? No promotion dates or expiration dates listed on there so I figured I was good to order with the same prices that I was provided. To my surprise when I called, I was pretty much being accused of lying or making up what I was telling them based off of the flyer they kept insisting I had the wrong location and that this absolutely was nothing that they'd ever heard of before. I was prompted to send a text message to some random phone number showing them the flyer for them to then tell me that they've already changed and upped their prices 4 to 5 times since that flyer. But again with no dates or expiration or saying promotion last for this long, I feel that I should've been given what I was advertised. Not my fault they forgot to put a promotion time limit and/or expiration dates on their flyer. The guy was trying to explain how expensive cheese is right now and it sounded so incredibly stupid and unprofessional . We all know the world is super expensive right now. But I can't believe it's cheaper to buy pizza in La Jolla versus some little place by San Diego State University... mind blowing! Safe to safe I will never return here!

    Perfect bottom crust!

If you're a pizza lover, you know that not all pies are created equal. Our absolute favorite? The San Diegan! Every bite is a burst of big flavor that keeps us coming back for more. What sets the San Diegan apart? First and foremost, it's crispy yet chewy with the delicious toppings that follow along with the perfect bottom crust. Each slice is a harmonious blend of flavors that dance on your palate, making it a must-try for anyone who appreciates a great pizza. Great service even though it is just a small pizza place!

I've been coming to Milo's for years. They have a special buy two slices and a soda for a deal. Sodas are always cold, pizza is always made fresh! I ordered the pesto pizza and the works over the weekend. My favorite was the pesto pizza. Both were crispy, fresh ingredients, tasted so darn good. Pesto pizza had blend of basil, ricotta, garlic and Mozzarella cheese. The works pizza had pepperoni, sausage, mushroom, onion, green bell pepper, salami and olives. Staff is always fun and friendly. Parking is a hit or miss, very tight parking spots.

TL;DR: college pizza - come if you want to save a buck or two but don't come expecting to find the best pie Pro: huge pies for a the price Cons: the toppings tasted canned, the sauce was so grossly sweet and tin-flavored we had to stop eating Service was relatively quick but pretty frazzled Despite being walking distance and thinking maybe other pies might be better, I won't be back. Not getting fooled twice - not trying to eat canned or jarred pizza again

I chose the spiciest one and moved on with my life. After a wait, he brings out bone‑in wings. I remind him I ordered boneless, and suddenly I'm trapped in a loop where he keeps repeating, "That sauce does not come on boneless," as if the universe itself forbids it. This would've been excellent information to share before cooking the wrong thing, but here we are. He eventually checks with the back and offers boneless with the second‑spiciest sauce, which at this point feels like a hostage negotiation. I accept. The boneless arrives. It's dark meat (not my favorite). The sauce is sticky sweet gochujang with a personality crisis. And the only dip option is ranch. No bleu cheese. No dignity. Nothing tasted bad. Nothing was inedible. But the whole experience felt like ordering chicken inside a bureaucratic escape room. Fresh food, sure, but the communication gaps and sauce‑based existentialism made the visit exhausting rather than exciting.

I was seated quickly on this bar table thing (not the actual bar) and it was high up. The prices were pretty expensive at $12.50 for five wings, not including any sides/sauces. I came here on a Monday and got the Monday AYCE wing special. The AYCE made it more worth it but still a bit pricy at $31 per person. For AYCE, it comes with fries or tater tots, a sauce, 10 wings, and some carrots and celery for your first order. After that, you get 5 wings per refill. The wings were a good size though the skin wasn't really crispy or anything. I tried buffalo, lemon pepper, and flaming honey mustard. Buffalo and lemon pepper are my go to flavors but I didn't really enjoy any of the flavors I tried. There were an overwhelming amount of flavors so it was a bit hard to choose on the spot with AYCE but now I wish I tried some different ones. Our waitress was pretty nice and checked in on us a good amount. Overall, I felt like the food was just okay, and for the value made it less good. My rating is a bit higher because of the service. I might come back to try some other flavors since this is such an iconic San Diego chain.

The wings were a really good size--not tiny--and cooked just right. Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. The buffalo sauce had a nice kick to it without being overwhelming, so you can actually enjoy the flavor instead of just burning your mouth off. The fries were also solid--crispy, well-seasoned, and not greasy. You can tell they actually care about how their food comes out, not just throwing stuff together. I also tried their ranch, and it was really good (definitely needed more though, they don't give a ton ). The service was quick and smooth. Staff seemed chill and didn't take long to get the order out, even though it was a bit busy when I went. The place itself had a relaxed, casual vibe--good for just hanging out or grabbing food with friends. Only reason I'm not giving a full 5 stars is because I wish the portion of sides/sauces was a little bigger, especially for the price. But overall, the quality of the food definitely makes up for it. The parking was easy too which was a bonus. For food we got two orders of the big greedy with yams, greens, baked beans and the new mushroom rice. I will stress that everything was excellent and we would get this exact order again, but a few particular standouts were 1) Fried Catfish. Our favorite protein by far. It was deliciously seasoned, perfectly fried, and succulently tender, 2) Candied Yams. They were sweet, tender and nicely balanced, 3) Mushroom Parmesan Rice. We only tried this because so many of the other sides were sold out and man are we glad we did. Our family tore this side up! I was born and raised in LA, so I've had a lot of Chinese food growing up, and I wasn't expecting to be this surprised--but I really was. I ordered the black bean eggplant and the salt and pepper chicken wings. The wings are what they're known for, but I have to start with the eggplant because it completely caught me off guard. It wasn't mushy at all--crispy on the outside, perfectly cooked on the inside, and coated in sauce without losing its texture. Every bite had depth and balance, not just saltiness. I actually meant to start with the wings, but the eggplant was so good I ended up eating half of it before even getting to them. By that point I was already getting full, but I still made sure to finish the wings--and I'm honestly excited to take the rest of the eggplant home as leftovers. By the time I got to the wings, I understood why they're popular--crispy, flavorful, and super satisfying--but what stood out to me was how both dishes complemented each other. One rich and layered, the other crisp and bright. I never got tired of eating, which honestly says a lot. I even told the staff how much I enjoyed the food and they thought I was joking, but I meant every word in saying I thought it was comparable, if not better then the food I've had in Chinatown in LA. Really glad I came here and the next time I have a chance to come back down to SD I definitely will come back here and that's not negotiable for me

They were drowned in salt! The Crispy Beef was nothing but thick dough with no beef inside. To add insult to injury it was BURNED so badly that all you could smell was burnt dough and taste burned dough. Hardly any sauce on it as well. The Shrimp Fried Rice should have just been plain white rice for how bland it was. The Vegetable Chow Mein literally was just a container of salt. Slim noodles and salt, disgusting! We spent so much money and all of this is going right into the garbage. Stay away from this hole! It should be shut down for trying to poison people. And it *probably* was a good thing that we walked in. We ordered: - Thai Boat Noodles - Pad Thai with Fried Tofu - Papa Noodles with chicken (I just realized this could be a clever play-on-words for those Thai "Mama noodles", but it's more of a house special recipe dish) - Thai tea (they don't offer boba here) - Mango sticky rice Overall, we were impressed and our cravings were happy! Everyone enjoyed what they got; Their Pad Thai tastes fresh, which IMO, is rare bc most places I've been to just mix the rice noodles with the usual tamarind/orange sauce. Even my cousin noted that and she's part Thai. As for the mango sticky rice, they were generous with mango servings, which I'm grateful for. Aside from the food, the interior is welcoming and fun to experience inside. Definitely delivers with the local mom n pop feels. Can't wait to try more options!

The…read moreflavors deliver but there are some hard to see past kinks that need to be squared away before their production can be top notch. Every time I've been here, there isn't much business. The tables are always empty and there's not much traffic going in and out which confuses me because the place is really good. I came in today just for takeout and like usual no one was there dining. A worker wasn't present as I walked in but popped out when I got to the counter when they noticed I was going through this paper menu which was just printed pieces of paper stapled together. The interior decoration has changed since I last been here. It's a lot more cozy and actually carries a theme now. I was told there are no physical menus, only a QR code that directs you to a "live menu." This is because this place is super inconsistent with having items out of stock so utilizing the live menu is their way to avoid telling people something isn't available. I get it but it still feels off, especially when something like drunken noodles might not even be available at a Thai restaurant. I hope they start creating menus soon to make it feel more like a sit down restaurant because right now with the QR code it leans more takeout and delivery. All of my visits I always come in wanting to try their longan tea and it's never available. It's kind of a bummer it's even still on the menu because it has never been an option for me. Luckily I was able to settle on things I did want that were in stock. I got the papaya salad Thai style with the #3 spice level, the nam tok grilled pork jowl also #3, and an iced chrysanthemum tea. My total was over $38 for a salad, some pork jowl, and a drink. This might be the most expensive casual Thai restaurant I've been to. The drink ended up looking very different than what I expected. The picture on their menu showed a refreshing slushie type drink but what I got was just an iced tea. It's not hard to update the picture especially when they can update items as sold out. Now the food, some of the best I've had. The portions, some of the least I've had. The papaya salad had shredded green papaya, lime juice, fish sauce, chilies, and peanuts. I asked for no tomatoes and the #3 spice level was perfect. A little kick that added flavor but still enjoyable. It had a really good balance of citrus and fish sauce that made it tangy and fresh. The nam tok grilled pork jowl was good as well. For $19 I would think it comes with rice but it doesn't. I had to make rice at home because it leans on the saltier side. The pork jowl was tender and coated in lime juice, fish sauce, chili flakes, toasted rice powder, and herbs like mint and cilantro. The seasoning was good but it didn't have that grilled flavor which I think would've elevated it. Overall this place is really flavorful but it's expensive and inconsistent with what's available which can be frustrating.
