Recently got my a membership through this company and I'd like to share my experience. I love how clean my car gets especially my wheels. However , the vacuums are not so powerful. There are cleaning rags outside but always low and no type of free cleaning solution. Upon entering the car wash they only allow one car freshener which I think is silly. I think you should at-least be able to get 2-4 because they aren't the strongest. They last maybe an hour with just one. MAYBE. Other than that those are my only complaints. I used to go to this car wash place years ago and then I stopped. I couldn't really remember why I stopped going. I got a Mr. car wash membership and I have been using that for about a year. I decided to cancel my membership to save money on monthly bills and today I took a spin through this car wash again. I instantly remembered all the reasons why I stopped going and spending my money there. The quality of the car wash is equivalent to you using Dawn dish soap, and washing your car at home with a water hose . It doesn't get the car clean. There are water spots everywhere. Not worth the money, the vacuums have little to no suction every time I went, the air hoses had very little pressure. Towels are always soaking wet, how do I dry my car with a wet towel? The wheel shine never does my entire tire. I am a Surf Thru Express Car Wash member and had an extremely poor customer service experience. I switched lanes due to another vehicle having issues and was told by an employee, Adrian, that the other customer had priority and that I should not proceed when my gate lifted. I complied, but another vehicle was then allowed to go ahead of me anyway. When I asked for clarification, Adrian was dismissive and abruptly walked away and back in to the office. Although a supervisor, Ambria, and area manager later apologized, the interaction itself was unprofessional and frustrating. If anyone reads this comment, trust me it only said with love. There is a lot improvements needed compared to the Cedar Park location. I dislike spending extra money for tire shine and it is never working. When asked every time about additional tire shine from current staff, they stated that they don't have brush and they still need to order one to add additional shine to tires. For the last couple of months, there is always at least one brush not working or vacuums not working. They don't offer clean drying towels, or the handheld blowers never work like other car washes around town. Service: The staff seem like they provide on real customer service to anyone. I understand it can be hot or cold or a busy afternoon, the never seem to provide at least a 1 star of customer service. There is someone ALWAYS just standing around not trying to assist in nothing but looking at you. Overall: I really hope improvements are in the works and management and owner really look into these concerns. read more

Despite being a long-standing member with multiple active memberships (on both my and my husband's vehicles), Ryan took it upon himself to threaten the cancellation of not one, but four of my memberships, for no valid reason. Let's be clear: my vehicle's bar code wasn't scanning properly due to the vertical heating lines in the windshield--an issue I've long known about. For that reason, I've always kept the tag in my glove box and presented it manually. It's never been a problem until now. Instead of offering a solution, Ryan insisted on affixing the barcode to the interior of my door, which forces me to use the non-member lane--completely defeating the purpose and convenience of a membership that's supposed to offer fast, automated service. This interaction was not only frustrating, but also laced with the same dismissive, discriminatory attitude I've experienced from Ryan before. His behavior is unprofessional, unacceptable, and indicative of a much deeper issue that should concern anyone doing business with Surf Thru Express. I'll be filing formal complaints with the BBB, Yelp, and other platforms--and have already left a review on Google. For those considering a car wash membership in Pflugerville: I cannot recommend this location. If you're paying premium rates for service, you deserve respectful treatment--not arbitrary cancellations and belittling encounters. The finicky credit card system has charged me twice for the wrong service, it's almost impossible to update payment method online (confirms changes that aren't actually going to stick), I never know which vacuums will either have way too much suction or not work at all, and half the time there's either no drying towels or the spray bottles are broken. read more

We went through the car wash today, the top and hood of the car were filthy, they weren't cleaned at all. I drove back around and the attendant let me go through the car wash again with an upgraded package, but the results were the same. I went back again and asked for a refund, but was told only the manager can offer a refund, he would be gone for the next two days. I called my bank and disputed the charge. I understand that mechanical car washes sometimes fail, but I should not have to come back for a refund for something that was not my fault. read more

Took my car here yesterday. Used the air gadget to get the left over water off the car windows. After seeing my car there was bird poop on the hood and windshield. There was also dirt still on my car by the emblem. The grill of my car still had dirt on it. Needless to say I wont go there again. I paid $20 for the car wash. When I came home I needed to almost rewash my car to get the dirt off my car. They say spotless dry, No way. I had to clean my windows in front and back to get the water off. read more

This location in Pflugerville is now bubble wash. They have updated their system for passes and you can now use an unlimited pass manually if it won't scan thru your window. The unlimited pass is a pretty good value. Only issue with this location is the don't use a brush any longer on the front our car they only use a low pressure washer spray prior to start of wash so the bug splatter is left on front of car even after extreme wash! Went in for a car wash. Attendant guiding me in signaled the wrong direction. Caught tire and under carriage in the rail. It bent the side molding of the front tire as well as pushed the bumper up hitting the pedestrian sensor. Spoke with the girl that was there with the new hire. She completely admitted it was their fault and would pay for the damages. Now upon the estimate their "manager " Ryan Olson said they will not pay and they don't have insurance. Do not do business with any Surf Thru Express Car Washes. Damage to your car will be your responsibility. I am waiting on Ryan Olson to send over the report which he refused to supply his corporate office information so I can file a case against them. Their negligence is they have untrained staff. I requested the report as the girl knew it was their fans mysteriously she no longer works there and has moved all in 3 weeks. I'm sure they probably fired her for admitting their fault. If she sees this, please reach out to me. I would like to add the response from Mr Ryan Olson in regards to the video: I have called and discussed this incident with you. This place stinks. I have taken my car there 3 times too many. I have had to go thru 2 times and still come home and clean the outside! No more. The kids working there really don't give a damn. There is no quality control. It's sad. The wash never gets the back of the car and today after the second go thru, the was some pink liquid spots all over my car. Paid $25 for a graphite extreme carwash and was given a basic $10 express wash that I wouldn't even consider a wash. Not a drop of soap touched my car and it is still just as dirty as it was before. I informed and employee and wasn't offered a refund or even a run through the carwash again with the right package without being charged another $25. Please do not waste your time here. read more

This place is very good for getting a car wash once in a while. I'm very pleased with the experience and the quality of the wash. However, I'm not a huge fan of the person that was working there when I went, he said, do you want me to dry it and I thought that was a little confusing and I said no thanks, and then he said do you want to sign up for the member twice before I could even say what kind of wash I wanted. This car wash never fully cleans your vehicle even with the highest priced package. Wheels, side walls and especially the back of all my cars are never cleaned properly. The wash consistently leaves residue of soap or wax after wash. Vacuums and air sprayers are usually damaged or not working. This place closed late last year for upgrades and I still don't see any significant changes in quality. read more

Went to wash and vacuum my car on 3/6/19. The vacuum system was not very powerful. I am not sure if it was working properly. I tried a few different hoses with same results. The car wash was fine. I did the $10.00 wash and it seems to have done a pretty good job taking all of the dirt off my car. The dryer also was a little lacking because the car still has water running off as I left the place. Other car washes have two attendants who do a little drying by hand at the end. Stopped by here on Thursday evening. A bird decided to poop on my vehicle. Eewww! There is a self serve machine where you select the wash you want and then pay. I selected my wash and drove up. The employee will guide you into the wash. They will also spray your vehicle before you start the wash. Unlike another car wash place, they do not have anybody drying your vehicle at the end. Be sure to turn to the left (you can only go one way) and use the vacuums. You can dry your vehicle off in the bay as it will still be a bit wet. It's a nice perk that vacuums are included in the car wash. Unfortunately, on my first visit the bird poop was almost gone. It didn't get completely washed off. Wish I went through again lol! They do have monthly plans so I may need to think about that in the future. I will update my review as I visit again. read more

DO NOT GO HERE! I went in for a basic carwash, as I haven't been able to wash it myself due to a recent knee surgery. I was in a rush to get home so I didn't check the quality of work before leaving. Once I got home and saw the car, it was still very dirty due to the poor quality of the carwash. I also noticed several scuff marks all over the car, despite asking the staff if it was safe to use. When I called in I simply asked for a refund or for them to rewash the car, but I was denied both requests because "We don't know what could have happened in the 5 minutes since you left." read more

It is a good car wash whenever it is working. This car wash is always, always, always breaking down or stopping right in the middle of the car wash. Sometimes every one has to back up so they can restart it. Sometimes the force the rollers to move you through and you just have to go back and get into line again. And a lot of times there are red cones in front of the entrance because it is closed during business hours. I will upgrade to a 5 if the thing ever stops breaking down. read more

We like this place as it is not too far from home and we always opt for their monthly deal that allows you unlimited car washes for a set fee per month. Our car comes out clean and afterwards, we always take advantage of the free vacuum facility available for car wash patrons. They have vending machines on the premises just in case you feel like you really need to grab a snack whilst vacuuming your carpet. I really enjoyed this car wash and have been a member for the last 18 months for my two work vehicles. I bought a prepaid card and I wasn't given the "blue" card and was told to track via my receipts. Was pretty told that it was treated like cash and there was nothing they could do after following up with them for 3 weeks regarding this issue. They were able to verify none of the washes had been used. Well, today my membership renewed and was told I'm likely going to get stuck paying for it because it rebilled automatically. Not to mention when I worked with staff before the new year I was told I'd have answer before it rebilled. They were closed for the last two days due to freezing temperatures which it why it rebilled without being cancelled. Will be moving to a different truck was moving forward. read more

Came here for the first time and will be the last. Paid $15 for the ultimate and only got the approximate. The front and hood, roof and back of the car were not even close to being cleaned. Spoke to the attendant and he had us go through again. They got the brushes out and washed the hood. Why does a car wash need people to clean the hood, roof and back? This place has changed hands, previously Bubble Clean. The do a decent job, but they have a dedicated lane for members and two for non members. Sometimes this gets a little aggravating because you have to translation from two lines to three booths and everyone thinks your cutting line. One you get through there you should be good. So my biggest issues is your hit and miss with tire cleaning. Sometimes you get them shine and other time you don't. So it's best to check your car prior to leaving.. Vacuums are available and air nozzles for blowing out the crevices. The stalls are covered and they practice social distancing. I just wish they could figure out the tire cleaning thing. For $17 this should be a given. read more

So i would say if you need a quick wash and dont really care about residue, customer service or only the shell of your car washed; damnit, than this is the place for you. They do have free vacuums however i went with the " ultimate" wash or whatever you call it. It ultimatley didnt clean my tires, it literally left the vehicle looking clean on the outside but direly dirty on the sides. I called and Daniel was delightful, didn't moan at me or argue and had me come back to run thru again and he was friendly and personable and even did the prescrub himself. I love this place. They are awesome. I have the monthly sticker so I can go as often as needed. Went through today and I have NEVER seen it so backed up, come to find out there was only 2 people there working!! Poor kids were frazzled. I had to go through twice because once inside car wash, the brushes didn't turn and nothing sprayed when I got there, it was like I wasn't there. It was crazy, and kinda funny as hell! Those two kids were working their butts off and the one looked new and scared and frazzled. But they kept at it and got the line almost normal again. I hope someone else came in to help them. I love this place!! I have a monthly membership with them. I can wash my car as many times as I want!!! It's very convenient to get a wash on my way home from work everyday.
