Honda Honda has gotten a new manager since my last review. The service is much, much better.

Do not take your car here for service or repair! My son took his 2025 accord hybrid sport with 18k miles in multiple times because the tail light had condensation in it after it rained and he gets a wind noise from a bad door seal. He also had an issue with his Samsung phone syncing up. They made all kinds of excuses and would not take care of any of the issues. We will take both of our Hondas to cedar park Honda from now on. read more

Not a great experience at all. Back in November of 2025 my husband and I bought a preowned truck from this dealer. We were already pre approved with our credit union and told the dealer we would be over after we got off work to get a purchase order and sign docs. This is where is all went down hill. A bit of info for those who don't know: some dealers work directly with certain banks or finance companies and the dealership gets compensated on those deals. Some dealers will shotgun your credit to multiple lenders at once just to find one that will approve you for financing. Most of them do not explain this to you. Anyway turns out my credit union deals directly with this dealership, great news, should be a breeze, right? WRONG!!! Since we did not submit an app with the dealer to our credit union they were not getting compensated on our deal, the guys at the dealership were not happy and boy did their finance manager Evan let it show. Oh, yeah I remember you and the attitude you had, I'm calling you out. We told the dealership we just needed the purchase order, we arrived there around 6:00 PM and they took well over an hour to get us one piece of paper. Wild right? During us waiting all this time they tried to sell us on their GAP which was inferior to my credit unions GAP so we turned it down. We live approximately 10 minutes from the dealership and didn't get home with the truck until close to 9:00 even though we got there around 6:00 expecting to sign documents then. Seriously what an epic of time wasted, and the attitude we got because we didn't want the dealer to pull our credit again you would think that we were going out of our way to disrespect these guys. Imagine that, we're doing business with you and we're met with attitude. Come to find out later on this truck had issues that were undisclosed on the carfax that we ended up having to pay out of pocket for, obviously we didn't have Round Rock Honda look at it, you boys have permanently lost our business. It's been over six months since we did this but I still vividly remember this terrible experience. Y'all made a simple process of signing docs agonizing and overly drawn out. Absofuckinglutely the worst dealership I have ever been to. There were plenty of lazy people standing around and one older gentleman asked if we needed assistance and we said yes and he grabbed several workers and they looked at us at a vehicle and walked off. We received no help and the older guy tried to make an excuse for the bullshit. We had a check in hand to purchase a car today and they missed out‍please shop anywhere but this place. This place refused to give any information at all over the phone or online and insisted I come in to get any pricing. I soon found out why they operate this way. The salesman we spoke with took us to his desk inside when we asked for the vehicle price. Then he took a phone call, where he took down information from another customer who wanted to buy a vehicle. After hanging up, he remarked that this customer had bought several cars from him already. We asked what the price for our car was. He asked for my phone number and email. I asked for the car price. He asked if I wanted 2WD or AWD, and I said 2WD. He complimented me for being so much smarter than his other customers for not buying unnecessary and expensive features. I asked for the car price. He asked if I planned to pay cash or finance. I asked for the car price. He left for a long time, and another sales manager returned with a printout that had the MSRP of the vehicle on it. I explained that I had been to several dealerships already and none of them were charging MSRP. He said he had no reason to drop below MSRP for the vehicle. We drove down the road to Howdy Honda and got the exact same vehicle (except in a "premium color") for $7,346.37 below what Round Rock Honda was offering. My advice is to only go to Round Rock Honda if you can't be bothered to go anywhere else. I don't know if they are too small to do the volume to compete with other dealerships on price or if they just don't care to compete and think people will only go to one place and assume every dealership is the same. We were already put off by the salesman taking a call in the middle of our conversation and then feeding us salesman BS about how smart we are, but then offering a price a few thousand above what others were offering (and many thousand above what we ended up paying) is insanity. Bought the pads for my front brakes and I also get Honda parts and 'Classic' Honda was always worth the extra few dollars. However, I was charged $140 and at a nearby dealership, they are just $118. While that is just $22 extra, that is a 19% higher price. I won't be buying any parts from this dealership again. read more

Uh oh... one star is never good!! Lemme splain.. I bought my pilot new... 2 years into my adventure, I started getting some weird shifting issues... I figured lemme go to the pros for a transmission flush ($500-$700), btw they have a closed system, I can't even check my tranny fluid and I definitely can't do it myself!! I expect them to drain the fluid, change the filter, flush the system, and fill it back up! I left my car there for a week and decided to get a few other things done as well... window was cracked so I needed an oil change, and rotate tires along with the tranny flush!!! My total bill was $1500-$2000... Well the windshield package I got when I bought the car was a one time use and I still paid for labor or something weird like that... I think they did the oil change and rotated the tires.... BUT... they didn't change the transmission fluid!!! I swear to God! I noticed I was still getting the weird vibration when shifting up and down... I thought maybe I will just drive it a little while and see if it clears... After a year or so, I decided I'm gonna go big and have that transmission flushed again... luckily, I was in a different part of the country and went to a completely different dealership, before having the service done, I asked the service desk to take a good look at the fluid to see if it had been flushed before... Transmission fluid should be reddish or have a red tint to it.... The service department informed me that it didn't look like it had been serviced within the last year... They saved it in a bottle and it looked like dark roast coffee from Starbucks... I guess the technician who had done the original service figured there was no way for me to check... Here's your sign, if you're thinking about going to round rock Honda, don't! These dealerships make more money from the service department than they do from the sales department... Management and leadership should take that seriously and have a system of confirming what was done and who did it just like Valvoline!!! I'm gonna leave this place alone you should too!!! I'm expecting an AI bot to apologize, then a real person will apologize! But it won't matter, because the truth is the truth, and the truth don't lie!! read more

I visited Round Rock Honda today intending to test drive two vehicles and explore purchasing options. Despite the busy Saturday, not a single salesperson acknowledged or greeted us upon arrival or while we looked at the vehicles in the showroom. A simple greeting or offer of assistance would have been the bare minimum. When I addressed this with the manager(Corey), we were met with excuses rather than accountability. This experience was disappointing and left us feeling completely disregarded as customers. If there was a rating lower than one star I would give that to this dealership. Continued... I was livid. This was beyond insulting, this was insane. The look in my eyes probably scared the guy, he literally ran away. Ran. I didn't think I was that intimidating. Few minutes later, like two... we hadn't even recovered from the shock of "the figures" ... we were still looking at each other like wtf... His boss comes steaming over, idiot in tow. The usual snake oil sales talk: "what can we do, I want to make you happy, blah blah f'ng blah... " Unbelievable. By now you can tell I'm not all that shy. I let him have it, spitting facts, all the facts. He takes it on the chin, says please wait, let me work on this. It's insane. It's like me walking your dog for ten bucks... I come back with a banana on the leash and tell you it's a great dane now... and it's papered, and everyone wants it, so now the fee for walking is five thousand. that's how insane this all was. if i wasn't there, I wouldn't even believe it. idioboss comes back. How about this.. numbers are now where they should be, exactly what i told idiojunior they were to be from the onset... except now the "price was higher." By a thousand bucks. I'm like, Hello... do you see your own paperwork? you know, this right here in front of you that you just put down on the table? do you SEE these numbers? How the &^% does it come out to that??? But here's the thing: All of the above, for starters. What kind of sadistic unwritten rule makes sense to them to treat customers... people who are there to spend big money... like some albanian refugee from mars garbage? The f? And how do you look yourself in the mirror... literally lying through your teeth to 80% of the people you talk to ever day? What kind of retarded groupthink is this? I recently bought a car myself. In a very distant state. drove it back. NO issues. If you have to be strongarmed and threatened to do your job... much less treat people like... people... then something is very... very wrong with your organization. DO NOT COME TO HONDA AT ROUND ROCK IF YOU WANT TO BUY A CAR!! I came into this dealership genuinely excited and ready to purchase a brand-new car today. Unfortunately, I have never experienced such rude and dismissive customer service in my life. After discussing some numbers with the sales associate and manager, both of them walked away without saying a single word -- no explanation, no "thank you for coming in," no effort to continue the conversation or find middle ground. It felt like they weren't interested in earning my business at all. To top it off, the manager( I believe his name was Armando) made a snide comment suggesting we "head on over" to another dealership -- and honestly, that's great advice. To make matters worse, after he walked off, I had to go call them back just to get my trade-in keys back. No follow-up, no decency, nothing. If you're looking for respectful, professional service, I highly recommend going somewhere else. There are plenty of dealerships that will treat you like a valued customer -- this is not one of them. Save your money and stay away from this auto dealer. I purchased a new car in August, their customer service is unprofessional and the worst I have ever experienced. My salesman couldn't find the extra key to my car and they wanted me to drive from Dripping Spring to Round Rock the next day to pick it up and to have my car washed because I didn't have an additional 3 hours to wait for a car wash. My new auto was dirty both exterior & interior. Now they can't locate my license plates even though I asked them to mail them and provided my new home address. Excellent and straightforward communication this week by the Honda team, specifically Emely Duran, who was direct, collaborative and helpful. thid is my second lease through Honda and had a much better experience this time around than I did in 2021 at the First Texas Honda location. They also quoted me much higher on the same vehicle and were not as forthcoming about incentives compared to Emely who worked with me on pricing, specs, and shared incentives I qualified for that brought the monthly payment down significantly. Avoid working with Cesar Mora and possibly this dealership completely. Cesar was very hostile in response to negotiations. Even if a customer's reasonable offer is being declined, customers should be treated with dignity and respect, and Cesar doesn't seem to have these necessary skills required of a salesperson. we visited Round Rock Honda today to purchase a new Honda accord for my son as his first car and he was so excited and so were we when he found a car that he really liked. we did a walk in but did fill out an interest form the night before and got a text with a video message which is too extra for the rude and discriminatory experience we had with the said sales agent. we sat down discussing numbers and while negotiating the sales agent was not only pushing his numbers but fussing about our named price and asking us to show proofs of where we got the numbers from , etc.. he expects us to sign the paper as he thought was a good number and when my husband was still discussing about the said number , he suddenly got up shook my husband hand and left... no "thank you for visiting or nothing" .. very rude and racist behavior ( as his demeanor was totally different with another Caucasian family) . HE MESSED WITH THE WRONG BROWN FAMILY, we went to Leander Honda and got them to bring the same car from RR Honda and for a better deal and a very polite and nice sales person on the same day. I recently signed in to my Honda account on the web and was notified that my Honda pilot had a recall notice in connection with the fuel pump. The recall notice provided available times to have the issue addressed and I scheduled the appointment for 7:20 AM. Subsequently, I received reminders of my appointment. When I arrived for my appointment, I was told that they didn't have the parts available. What perturbed me was that the attendant seemed to blame me for not calling in regarding parts not being available. The customer has no obligation to contact the dealership regarding the availability of parts or any other matter unless requested to do so. read more

I attempted to call the dealership on Tuesday evening regarding a pre-owned vehicle during their posted business hours but was disconnected each time I called. Wednesday morning I received a call back. I explained that I was seriously interested in purchasing a vehicle but would like to come to an agreement over the phone since I live 3 hours away and am 9 months pregnant traveling with a toddler. The salesman confirmed that there was no damage to the vehicle after doing a walk around by it and offered to send a video. I never received a video and trusted his word- huge mistake. On Saturday morning, we confirmed with the salesman that we were making the 3 hour trip and were on our way. I received a video that was clearly edited to limit what was shown of one side of the car- and I asked if there was a dent in the vehicle (screenshot attached). I was told that this was "body lines" on the car. To minimize my time at the dealership, I submitted my credit application only to discover upon my arrival that they had the audacity to run my credit, tell me there was no damage, and lie to me. When we made it to the dealership, it was clear that there was significant body damage to the vehicle that could be seen from very far away and the salesman tried to say that he didn't see it because it was "dirty" (except the car was not at all dirty in the video). I went on to discover even more damage to the exterior and interior of the car and was told one story after another that didn't line up. To add insult to injury, the car was not detailed and full of dog hair, damage from the dog, previous spills, and had a an odor. There were more excuses about why there was no time to detail it in the past 4 days, but even just vacuuming out the dog hair would've taken 10 minutes. I am shocked by the dishonesty and lack of respect that this establishment has for their customers- let alone a mother who is 9 months pregnant traveling 3 hours with her family to buy a $60,000+ vehicle. I could go on further about other unacceptable issues transpired before and during our visit, but I don't believe in writing bad reviews to be vindictive- I just don't want anyone else to have to go through what I did today or worse. read more

I had an incredible experience! I feel like I have NEVER said that after leaving a dealership until today. When I first walked in, I was greeted by Colby, a salesman. I went in by myself on my lunch break and was so pleasantly surprised. Colby listened to my goals and was awesome through the whole process. He did not talk over me or ask me redundant questions. I checked on a truck online through email. I was told that it was in stock. When I got there they made me wait for Amanda, after 10 minutes I asked to just see the truck. We drive around to the different lots looking for it and then got a call stating that they no longer had it and was informed that they had another truck if I was interested. This review is not about car sales, but about Honda service. It was time to bite the bullet and take our 2010 Accord in for a timing belt replacement. This usually involves replacing the water pump, tensioners, gaskets etc. I normally do my own oil changes and light engine work, but this requires tools and time that I just don't have. It also had three warning lights which I asked for them to resolve. I also asked for the spark plugs to be replaced. After I dropped the car off I got a call about a common problem the V6 Hondas have concerning their variable cylinder management system, a.k.a. Eco mode. The front bank of cylinders shut off during Eco mode and this causes the piston rings to wear out which eventually allows oil in to foul the plugs. This made sense because I noticed it seemed to have a misfire and I was adding a quart of oil between oil changes and nothing was leaking out. As a result, they have to drop the oil pan and pull the pistons out in order to put on new rings. As a result, this $2000 job now jumped to $4500. More than half of that cost would be the labor charge which is understandable considering what had to be done. After a few days I came to pick up the car as well as all the parts that I asked them to save so I could inspect them. Nobody likes dumping that kind of money into a car, but it was necessary and the car now runs like new. Now it's good for another hundred thousand miles.
