I decided to take my first "surf thru" the hot new car wash in Redmond! My car was definitely in need of a cleaning and the weather lately has made washing at home not an option to me. I decided to look up their website before hand and saw there are a variety of packages offered beyond your average car wash that you pay for the single wash and you're done. They had monthly memberships and more, I really recommend checking out their website for all the details, I was really pleasantly surprised. I went for a single use wash since it was my first time, I wanted to see what I thought of my experience first. You first pull up and there are 3 Lanes to choose from how you will pay for service. First lane was Cashier, 2nd Lane was for Members/Cards, the third lane I believe was for Members as well (my memory is escaping me on the exact usage for it) I went for the 2nd lane since I wanted to use my debit card. I made my selection on their touch screen of the Ultimate Wash. There was a bit of a hang up with the gate arm not lifting for me but an employee ran right out to me and manually opened the gate so I could pull around to my car wash. I pulled around and there were two gentlemen there who guided me onto the track and started scrubbing my car as it started to pull me through. I've never done this type of wash before and honestly I was a little nervous but it was easy once I figured out you just leave it in neutral and let it pull your car. They had signs up that said that and the worker kept letting me know it was ok, it just didn't feel natural for me to let it just go, but it was a great experience. I finished pulling through my wash and parked around the corner at one of their many parking spaces to vacuum a little bit of the interior of my car. Overall it was a great experience and everyone was so friendly. My reasoning for 4 out of 5 stars is that there were still some main areas of my car that were left uncleaned and they really stand out now with the spots that were cleaned. I was happy to drive home with a clear windshield though. I will be back to try again hopefully with a 5 star update! Thank you! read more

If I could give no stars I would. On 1/4/2025, 2363 NW 4th St, Redmond, OR 97756 after using your wash, immediately I noticed fresh paint chips on the hood of my 2024 Ford Ranger XL. I reported this to the office, and the site manager made a report, but I was met with misleading statements and observed inconsistent cleaning practices. I refused to provide insurance information, as I believe negligence in cleaning off rocks from other vehicles led to the damage. They only spray the left side of the vehicle which is an utter waste of time, and which means off roaders bring rocks into the wash to destroy someone else's property. My truck is always garaged and barely driven and did not have these chips prior to the wash. This isn't the first time I've experienced damage at your washes and based on repeated denial of responsibility and poor handling of such incidents; I'm canceling my membership effective immediately. Your business model seems to focus on denying claims, avoiding accountability, and shifting blame onto customers. Additionally, asking a customer for their insurance to defraud clients due to inconsistent cleaning practices, is unethical or should I say just plain slimy. You've lost another customer. Businesses such as yours should be run out of town on a rail! approximately a year ago a young man told me to try their car wash thing for one month and it would only be one month. I said okay because I don't live in town. and I forgot about it and says I don't get a statement mailed to me yes I'm old it's a pain in the butt to look at your statement and print it out and all of that so I hadn't been checking my credit card come to find out surf and turf it wasn't for one month I've been paying for it for a year I'll never go back there again ever ever they either knew it and lied to me or someone has my card information from there I'll never go back. read more

Out car was very dirty so we asked which service would get it clean. A $20 wash was recommended. The wash did did not fully clean so we went back to go thru again as the attendant said we could. When we went back thru the story changed and we had to pay to go back. $20 wasted and the car is still dirty. We will not use them again. read more

We've had a membership at this Redmond location since it started. The first year or so they were great. For the last year or so, every time we go in there are equipment issues. There are either problems at the gates, or more frequently, there are problems in the wash bay. Also, they don't do the same level of prewash they once did with brushes. Only a light spray, that does next to nothing. There are always multiple areas (especially the back) that are very noticeably not clean! When I bought my monthly membership 2 1/2 years ago I was very impressed with the quality of this car wash. The wash was very good and the management of the business were great, both have gone dramatically downhill. I should not need to rewash the back of my car after they wash it. I highly recommend not going to this car wash, due to the present manager Stephanie. Her treatment of her employees is absolutely unacceptable and illegal. She was incredibly rude to me personally when I went to went to get my car washed, that is when observed her incredibly inappropriate and out of line, condescending treatment of her employees, whom that being said, do a very good job and deserve proper management. This place is a total waste of your hard earned money. My car did not get clean, the dry cycle was lame and the tire shine was spotty at best. Instead of a refund as I asked, they sent me through a second time with pretty much the same results. read more

Update today 1/6/2024. I went through the carwash this afternoon. The second car in front of me only got half of the car back cleaned, see photo below. The pickup truck in front of me they didn't touch the back at all. Neither did they brush the back of mine, see photos below. The in car wash brushes got out the outside 1/3 and left the center as dirty as when I arrived. I received the standard company "so sorry" response you will see below and they wanted my phone number to have a manager contact me. Omg I've been a customer for as long as I can remember and I still am(for now). Been in it twice when it broke down. Car used to dry well but now the hood is very wet. Spots! No it's not "spot free" like they claim. I get more spots than before I went for a wash!!! I've called the management number and they never called back. I'm done... Bought one of the "prepaid" Buy 4 get 1 free cards with the "Extreme" wash and 3 of them still just do the BASIC!!! Even after "running me through again" it still just does the BASIC. When sitting in the Cashier Line to bring it up it takes forever because the one kid just talks and talks and EFFING talks!!! That's when they have someone to work that line. I know times are tough but goddamn, fix the card issue!!! Even though you said you did and it reads as being prepaid with Extreme washes, it still does not. I'm over it and this place.. sure the vacuums and blowers are a nice touch but doesn't change the fact I'm getting cheated out of what should be an easy fix. The monthly wash plan is a good value. Overall, the car wash does a pretty good job. Previously, two attendants prepped the car with brushes and spray getting bugs and heavy dirt off. Now only one attendant preps, and only with spray. Often there are bugs and dirt left on the car after the wash. Sone of the vacuums and compressed air are t working some of the time, but it is a nice free amenity. Still a decent car wash and good value. read more

Beware! Attendant asks you if you want 1 month unlimited car washing for $14. She has you sign a card, takes your credit card info and automatically enrolls you in a monthly plan for $25.99 a month. This is about the 5th or 6th time I've used Surf Thru, but it will be my last. I've never been completely satisfied with the wash here, even when I've ponied up for the $18 option, but this last wash was pathetic. My truck wasn't filthy, but a return from the valley a few days prior left it dusty and with a bug-splattered windshield. After paying $11 for the "Epic Wash" and exiting a few minutes later...my truck was still dusty with a bug-splattered windshield. I honestly can't even figure out how my wheels appear to be even dirtier after the wash than before. Just 15 minutes with my power washer and some very light scrubbing with a microfiber mitt and the truck was actually clean. So, what exactly are we paying for at Surf Thru? I don't know. read more

Second time using this car wash- I should have learned from the first time but thought perhaps a fluke. I pulled up- no one in front or in back of me. Once I was on the track they IMMEDIATELY hit the button to send the rig on its way! 5 seconds of "pass-by" brushing from what appeared to be a teen girl and guy. There are new scratches, and a lot of scratching/swirling on the clear coat- some quite possibly from the kids hurriedly slamming the brushes in attempt to seem like they were scrubbing (for 10 seconds) while laughing and chatting it up! I'm furious. I got out to wipe some of the wet dirt with a soft rag, noticed scratches and filth and only thought to take a couple photos after. Local senior Oregonian and will never go back nor recommend this place. $20 for what? read more

I had my truck into the Redmond location 3/18/24 5:04 pm. I ordered an Epic wash ran it thru and noticed at the end of the wash it showed an express wash... I then noticed what an absolutely poor job was done. the rear of the truck looked untouched!!! I went back and the lady apologized and said she would run it thru again at no charge and it would be the "top of the line" wash. I ran it thru and at the end it showed just an Epic wash and the rear of the truck again was unwashed as well as the side windows still dirty. I also noted that there wasn't anyone with a brush working or at least not noticed. This car wash has one of the best customer service I've ever experience, The manager stephanie greeted me in the vacuum and saw that i had a fin over my back window and immediately address the spot under it with additionalwindow cleaner which i had not noticed but definitely felt that for the 11 wash i got i recieved 30 dollar service. The free vacuums with the wash are great. it is a great way to maintain the cleanliness quickly through out the week. Great value for the great service you get. After going through the car wash, we noticed damage consistent with the over the top brush scratching our vehicle. We called to report the damage and were given the run around for weeks. We were finally told they would not cover any repairs because it was "normal wear and tear." The vehicle is 3 months old, that is NOT normal wear and tear and I shouldn't expect that as a normal scenario when I go to a carwash. This is a beautiful facility that operates very efficiently. The monthly program is a good value if you live nearby. Unfortunately, however, they really don't pay attention to the quality of the service they provide. The automated system doesn't work well. The front and rear of your car will come out looking the same as before the wash. Your hood, roof, and windshield will be sparkling clean. Go down the street and spend ten bucks at the Polar Bear car wash. They do a much better job, and they care. This place is a chain location, and they're clearly not interested in quality. They just want volume. I offer this critique after many many visits where my car came out dirty and nobody paid attention. Of course they're happy to run you through a second time if you complain. if you have a rack on your canopy, they turn off the brushes on top and if you have a trailer ball, they turn off the brushes in the back so essentially only the sides and front of your truck gets washed. read more

Ram1500 crew-cab pickup with a canopy. When this first opened, our first time it was a good wash. The next time I needed a wash, I bought a card expecting the same service as the first time. Not going to happen. The first time through they did a scrub of the bugs and windshield, now all I get is some spray from a can across the front. Out the other end and things look okay so I hit the highway. 15 minutes later when things have dried off and you can still see dirt on the hood as well as something leaving small bumps across the hood and windshield. The wipers and washer fluid did not take it off of the windshield, I had to use Pinesol and elbow grease to clean the windshield. I have not tried to clean the rest of the rig, hoping that time will remove whatever it is without pitting the paint. I have a couple washes left I will use and we will see what happens. read more

I filed a claim and the manager said he doesn't believe their own video and refused to pay for the damage. I love the concept and the staff are great, but the monthly membership program falls short of my expectations. I use the service 2 - 4 times a month. I signed up for the monthly membership because I place a high value on my time and the idea of being able to skip the line and not have to wait 15 - 20 minutes behind a line of cars was very appealing. Since I signed up last May, the Members Only line at the Redmond location has been open exactly zero times when I came thru and I have nearly always had to wait for cars ahead of me. Last night I had to wait behind a dozen cars. Another time there were so many cars ahead of me that I gave up after 20 minutes and pulled out of line. The whole selling point of the membership program was that members get priority, but that has yet to happen so I will most likely cancel my membership. read more

Horrible business! They scratched my car that was fairly new, I've had this car for about a month and taken it through countless car washes across town. Decided to try this business and it scratched my car! Once I reported the damage it took WEEKS to hear from them and I had to call multiple times to even get a response. Than they said it's "impossible" that there car wash did this as the brushes are to soft to scratch cars and that it was the dealerships fault that there where scratches ???
