Our group photo after we completed the game

I got the opportunity to experience an escape room experience for the first time for my bachelor party that my friend/best man organized. It was a surprise to me as I was not told anything before we met up with the others in our group at our initial location at the Plaza West Covina mall. I got really into the real world game experience and highly enjoyed the teamwork and communication involved. There were a couple of areas where the puzzles took a little longer for us to solve than it should have, but overall the experience was a fun and memorable one. We were impressed with the preparation that Mike and his team put into the game and the customization of elements added an extra layer of enjoyment to the experience.

A great adventure for the whole family ... Thank you Mike and all! A unique experience I highly recommend!

Mike and his team provided the most amazing interactive experience we could have ever asked for! He and the live actors never broke character, even during a Biblical moment where the Bible speaks of Jesus spitting in dirt and rubbing it in the eyes of a blind man to heal his sight, Mike rolled with it!!! They spit in the dirt and put it in his eyes, and he didn't even flinch!!! It was so interactive, literally surreal. You will not be disappointed. There is no consideration- if you want the best experience for your next event, this is it.

    We love the dwarf!

We had these guys come out to our church and create a whole escape room with our facility. We gave them a tour of the places available for use and they did their thing. They were able to finish in about an hour and a half. I really like how patient these guys were and how they were able to go with the flow. Above all else, the passion of these guys is awesome. We played the "Rose Red" and was able to choose what level of difficulty the game would be. However, we might have chosen a harder level than the youth could handle. Regardless, the main point is that the youth had tons of fun and so did we. (:

We decided to go as walk-ins and the employee (or owner I'm not sure) told us he could take walk-ins but the only room available at that moment was the horror one... this was GREAT for us as we're huge horror fans! We did the Corpse Whisperer room which can contain 2-10 players. It was really fun! My husband and I oddly have a harder time when things are super linear (we're both neurodivergent so maybe that's why). But the room IS very linear and you don't have to overthink as much as we did! That being said, we still made it out with 5 minutes to spare! Without spoiling the room, there's some really fun moments!! If you're into horror, you'll love it. If you're not into horror, I think you'll still love it either way! This escape room does something I've never seen before at that's finding "coins." In each room they have coins hidden around the rooms and you can find them and at the end, the game master will collect them and you have a chance to spin a wheel to win a prize! I thought that was a cute touch! The employee/owner was really kind and helpful. You could tell he loves his job and loves escape rooms! Thank you for such great service and helping make our day so fun!

We just finished Pandora's Box and I am still reeling from how incredible the experience was The Atmosphere and Effects The production value here is insane. The set design is incredibly high end and detailed, but what really blew us away were the special effects. I have never seen weather simulations like this in an escape room before. The way they integrated environmental effects made it feel like we had stepped into another dimension. It is easily the most involved and immersive set I have ever seen. The Puzzles The puzzles were refreshing, intriguing, and most importantly, unique. They were not your standard find a key or open a box tropes. Instead, they were cleverly woven into the narrative of Pandora's Box and kept our whole group engaged the entire time. The MVP: Jack (Game Master Extraordinaire) The absolute highlight of our night was our Game Master, Jack. I cannot say enough good things about him! Jack is not just a host; he is a phenomenal actor. He was so deeply involved in the story and stayed in character in a way that truly elevated the stakes. His performance made the whole experience feel like we were starring in a movie rather than just playing a game. Final Verdict This is hands down the most involved escape room I have ever done. We are already planning our next visit to see what else they have in store. Ask for Jack because you will not regret it!

Great escape room if you're a woman who loves losing bodily autonomy!…read more My two friends and I (all female) recently did the Magic Kingdom room at Maze Rooms LA on Vermont. Before we started, the one person working offered an option to have surprise, intermittent visits from a character named "Steve the extra-terrestrial" (AKA that same game master wearing an alien mask). This option was a sort of expansion pack on the standard room, with Steve being described in vague terms as "a helper and a hinderer" i.e. he may help you get to the next step or he may make it more difficult for you to do so. We assumed this meant adjusting certain room elements or leading us to/from specific clues, thought it sounded like a fun challenge and accepted the Steve option. We did NOT realize this meant Steve would TICKLE US. ALL OF US. MULTIPLE TIMES. It is so wildly unacceptable to be repeatedly and unwelcomely touched, especially in this context. We had to stop midway to lecture this man about consent. He rounded out the evening with some sexual comments (which it seems were encouraged by the owner to be shared with every group) that made us all wildly uncomfortable and we left feeling icky, regretful and drained. Beyond the unwanted touching, the room itself needs maintenance; a few key items were broken or malfunctioning, and they had to do a full tech reset on the room halfway through. TL;DR: Take your money elsewhere unless you love getting tickled by strangers. And if you do come here, DO NOT DO THE STEVE OPTION.

We've also done Cosmic Crisis and The Depths, and out of the three, The Heist was probably the most challenging. It definitely required a lot of thinking, and there were a few moments where we felt completely stumped and needed a little help. That said, the puzzles were still logical and satisfying to solve. The theme and storyline were also really unique, and I loved how consistently the theme carried throughout every part of the game. We ended up finishing with about 20 minutes to spare! One thing I really appreciate about The Escape Game is that the rooms are challenging without feeling impossible or far-fetched. We've done escape rooms at other places where the puzzles were difficult simply because the solutions felt like such a reach that they barely made sense. Here, everything feels much more intentional. You may not necessarily need clues, but it's nice knowing that unlimited help is available if you do get stuck. I also love that the rooms aren't horror or fear based, overly suspenseful, or chaotic. But they are just fun and immersive with worth the challenge you're paying for. And a huge thank you to Will! You were so kind, welcoming, and had such great energy from the very beginning.
