The place looks like it's falling apart. Almost looks like a hoarder's home. Definitely not for the claustrophobic. They sell mostly desserts, but they do have food as well. Looks like a mom and pop run the place. The strange thing is that the price difference between dine in and takeout is quite large (takeout being cheaper). I can see why everyone was lining up, but almost nobody actually sat at the tables. There also a sandwich board showing some really cheap food, but based on the rather inconsistent pricing I didn't bother asking. I had the lamb curry. Comes with naan or rice. Not bad, but it was seriously oily. The other problem is that it's on the small side. Thought I had found a competitor to Tandoori Palace on Commercial, but it was not to be. Wouldn't mind coming back at some point, though there are other options in the vicinity.

One of my biggest concerns at the time was the watered-down butter chicken, but that's no longer the case. The flavors are richer, more consistent, and every order I've had recently has been satisfying. This has become one of my regular takeout spots, and I've been ordering from them consistently. It's always nice to see a restaurant take feedback seriously and continue improving over the years. I'm happy to update my reviews whenever an establishment earns it, and Agra Tandoori absolutely has. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to friends and family looking for delicious Indian food.
