I've been seeing Dr Nuttle for 16+ years! Today i saw them during the COVID pandemic. Check-In: call them when you arrive, the Dental Assistants and Receptionists work as a team to make sure no one is in the waiting room. Once you get the okay you go in with a mask and everyone is in Protective Gear. They take your temperature and then ask you to get some hand sanitizing gel and then you answer the COVID-19 questionnaire. Once you finish they review your answers and if you get the "OK" then you follow the Dental Asst and they ask you to wash your hands i the bathroom. Then follow her to your chair. Going to your dental chair: WAIT until the Dental Asst gives you the OK to remove your mask. They will give you a mouth wash as you are sitting. When i went to my area i only saw 2 other people there and they were more then 6 ft apart. The office is pretty big. Again VERY CLEAN! I love how Dr Nuttle works with the staff as a team. My parents and i have grown close to the staff over the years! If i could give them 10 stars i would! read more

We live in Castro Valley and make the commute to Dr Nuttle's office for our family dental care. We have tried to find a local dentist but the quality of the service from the time you enter Dr Nuttle's office is the standard all dental offices should require and we have yet to find one locally. We absolutely do not mind the drive to Pinole. Dr Nuttle's office staff accommodates our family appointments with ease. Scheduling appointments and billing are never an issue. Dr Nuttle and her dental staff care for our dental and ortho needs with precision and comfort. We never feel the anxiety or fear that are typically associated with dentists. I've been to many many dentists throughout my life and she is truly like no other. My whole family started seeing her maybe 2 years ago when a co worker recommended her to us. She is very effective and thorough with her work. She really cares about her patients and she isn't out for money like some dentists out there. My family has been so happy with Dr. Nuttle for so many years now! Probably close to 20! I had to change my appointment like 10 times because I kept creating conflicts with myself. Claire is so patient and was always as accommodating as possible. She even found me a better appointment that came up due to a cancellation. Came in today for a routine cleaning and checkup. Make sure you are aware of billing and treatments performed prior to leaving the office. My kids have been going to Dr. Nuttle for 11 years great service no problems until last year 2017. I took my two kids in for routine cleaning everything went great. During the cleaning Dr. Nuttle mentioned about putting something on their teeth and I agreed. Dr Nuttle nor staff NEVER advised me that what they were putting on my kids teeth would be BILLABLE as I would have REFUSED service at that time. Normally the staff is great at always going over the treatment plan / billing prior or even sometimes would call Delta Dental to confirm coverage if anything is unclear. Now since I refuse to pay the $100.00 they are refusing Emergency Services for my daughter. This was a billing error on their end not mines. I do not feel that I should pay for a mistake they made by not telling or not knowing it would not be covered. No child should be refused service from their well ESTABLISHED Dentist in emergency type situations. At this point its not even about the $100.00 its the principle. read more
