I knew this would be a TERRIBLE DECISION from the moment I first called their office to make an appointment. It just so happened Dr. Schwartz answered and was extremely rude on the phone, but I made an appointment anyways. Hint: there's GOOD REASON that almost all other ENT's in the area are fully booked for the next two or three months, but Dr. Schwartz had a few different openings during the next couple of days. 1st visit: Rude staff gives an attitude like "what are you doing here?" and Dr. Schwartz isn't any better. She scowls at everyone, employees and patients alike, and will physically manhandle you during treatment. 2nd visit (today, two weeks after first) ear infection not cleared up. Arrived early for my 12:30 appointment. I'm still waiting at 1:10 pm even though people that came in AFTER me were already seen. Final straw was when someone that came in 45minutes AFTER my scheduled appointment was seen, treated, and released and NOBODY so much as said "hello" to me. I left on my own at 2:30, two hours after my appointment I filed a complaint with my insurance company and if they DARE try to charge me ANYTHING for the visit I didn't have today I'll see them in court and file complaints with the Medical board. So now I guess I have to go through getting another referral and waiting 3 months for a REAL E.N.T to help me. On a more positive note, I actually saw Dr. Schwartz smile at a couple of people today. read more

This so called "Dr" is a complete joke and is just trying to scam you out your money. Came here for a earwax removal job and since I don't have insurance I had to pay $225 up front out of pocket. Apparently the $225 covers consultation and the earwax removal job. Miss beloved Dr. Schwartz couldn't extract the earwax on the initial day of the appointment and had me rescheduled to come back 2 days later to "complete" the job, yet I come in and did as instructed which was go home and use debrox ear drops to "loosen" the earwax (which I payed out of pocket as well) and she will "take care of the rest" was her exact words. Came back in second time ready for her to complete the job and remove the earwax just for her to tell me I have to pay an additional $175..... and no she and her staff were not joking when they told me that. Tried to explain to the staff that I already paid upfront when I came 2 days ago and even showed my receipt, the Schwartz lady comes over and tells me that she had supposedly removed a partial amount the other day but I still had to pay the $175 for her to complete the job which makes no sense what so ever since she never completed the job to begin with. She begins to tell her staff to "take care of me because she can't deal with this now" as if I'm a liability or something to her. Mentioned this to the other ENT specialist I spoke to and they told me that they're doing dirty business and seems like she's just trying to go after clients money. So I advise if your looking for a ENT specialist I wouldn't recommend coming here. Not only will you be scammed for you money but also be treated poorly, rudely and will also waste your valued time (appointment was initially at 12:45pm and wasn't helped until 1:35pm) I'll let you sit on that. If I could leave no star I would. Let me not even get started on the office itself, old, rusty, over crowded, unorganized and short staffed. Hope this practice gets shut down soon and she loses her license so she can no longer do this to more potential clients and people who actually need help. Never coming back here again. read more

Unfortunately the worst experience of my life. The doctor is unprofessional and the wait times ridiculous. I waited 2 hours the first time and another hour and a half the 3rd time. It's total chaos in there. I really wanted to like her, but she makes it impossible to. The hygiene level in all aspects leaves a lot to be desired. From the facility to the provider herself. I waited over a month to leave this review and simply sat on my perspective a while to see if I was just being emotional, but no. The reality is there's something seriously wrong with this practice. She even sold me a "sample", a bottle of nose oil that was clearly marked "sample NOT FOR SALE", I didn't discovered it until I got home and the bottle was only half full. But putting that aside, which I'm not sure is legal, the worse honestly was the way she treated me after I complained about the wait time. There's so much more I could say but will restrain myself right now. I wish I would have read the reviews before going there. I am someone with ear troubles since birth. Many surgeries, appointments, tubes, tonsillectomy, removal of adenoids as an infant etc.. wherever I am living the first doctor I look for is my ENT. In Las Vegas there have been very few and now most specialize in sinus care versus ears!! Over the years any time I have an infection (which happens all the time) I'll call and the next available appointment is MONTHS away!! My ears are draining fluids and painful, but I should wait months?!! Dr. Schwartz will make time immediately if you are emergent or just uncomfortable with your ears! Yes, her office is busy and she still uses paper charts versus electronic, but she's an excellent doctor and caring person. Not many doctors work as hard and for her patients, not herself or some insurance company! Try appreciating her efforts and just be thankful.! I know I am!! read more

Not sure why there are some poor reviews. We are in town from colorado. This was the only ear doctor that wasn't booked a year out. And I called about a dozen places. She had a cancellation and saw my husband same day today. The waiting room process was fairly quick. This wonderful doctor was able to pull something ungodly out of my darling's ear and gave him great relief. And she's a pretty funny little lady. Told us a great story about treating Ozzy. Multiple issues here beginning with what's most important. During a pandemic, there is ZERO safety measures being taken. If you have one doctor at the practice why are you scheduling 6 patients at 10am? Especially considering that we are all crammed in a tiny waiting room. No sanitizer available, no social distancing, no masks mandatory policy and the receptionist wasn't even wearing a mask. I even heard her tell someone on the phone all of the things they are doing to comply with CDC regulations and me and a few other people in the lobby were looking at each other knowing it's bullshit. Just like how everyone else had mentioned, I waited about 1 hour and 15 minutes to be seen. I showed up early to my appointment as well but didn't start the countdown until after my appointment time came around. Zero bedside manner! Made me feel bad that I have small ear canals she couldn't get everything out and was basically jamming the suction tool in my ear. It was so insanely painful. (I actually went someplace else and they were able to get everything out using the same tools and I didn't feel any pain whatsoever) Lastly, they never submitted my claim to my insurance. 3 months later and they're telling me that they had to mail it or whatever the case is, my insurance never got it so I paid out of pocket. Just do yourself a favor and go someplace else. It may take longer to see someone but it'll be worth it. read more

Rude and miserably unprofessional staff. Filthy office. Reuses medical equipment on patients. "Dr." Schwartz is extremely rude, condescending and she is dirty. Her hair is matted and smells, scrubs look like they haven't been washed in years and her fingernails are caked with lord knows what (other peoples ear wax?). Run, don't walk away from this disaster. Most horrible experience I have ever had in a medical setting. Did I say it was filthy in that dump? That is being nice. So disgusting. Dr. Schwartz is wonderful, she has a caring personality and it's clear that she's been practicing for a long time. She has helped a lot of famous people, her lobby is full of autographs from celebrity clientele. Any time I've been there it's been busy, not too long of a wait, about an hour from the time I walk in until the time I'm walking out. She works hard and quickly, perhaps a little too quickly from my observation. I've been for my initial visit plus 2 follow ups, and at my 2nd follow up she told me different/new information about my nose that she missed initially. I also tried to tell her information that I felt was relevant to my ENT health conditions but maybe she didn't hear me or was busy with other thoughts. It felt like important information was maybe slipping through the cracks, or unless she thought what I was telling her was irrelevant and just didn't say anything. She put me on a care plan and has been working with me because I'm still breastfeeding my toddler. With research and consulting her pediatrician, I have learned that going under GA has been deemed safe so moms can get surgery to take care of their health without having to wean since the medication is basically worn off by the time you wake up (google it.) My toddler has also gone under GA several times, as she's had a health condition since she was born. I was planning on pumping/dumping after the procedure, even though the pediatrician said I didn't need to. Dr. Schwartz needed a written consent form from the pediatrician but she said she couldn't sign it because I wasn't her patient. Liability stuff, I understand. I was thinking about getting a second opinion anyway, and now I need to. I went here initially because Dr. Schwartz had the most/best reviews on yelp for my area so I'll have to drive a little further for my care now, which is okay. The Dr came in to see us and was very thorough, checked everything and gave us plenty of time to discuss all aspects of issues and treatment. Terrible attention, two and a half hours of waiting for nothing, they do not accept cancellation, they threaten to charge you 50 dollars if you get tired of waiting and want to leave and they charge you. I also had an appointment on Monday 4pm and I called on Monday 9am to change my appointment because I had an episode of vertigo and again they threatened to charge me $ 50 and they charged me, I ended up paying $ 80 for nothing, more than everything that I charge my insurance . That doctor is a thief, don't go to this consultation, she doesn't have assistants because they can't stand the bad character of that doctor. They will only leave in great disgust. My husband had a very bad case of vertigo. We weren't sure what it was at first. Needed to go to the emergency room twice. Followed up with primary cardiologist, neurologist, and Dr. Schwartz. The patch that was given and recommended by the ER caused my husband to have hallucinations! I took that off! Dr.Schwatz office is busy for good reason. She's amazing. Worth the wait. I understand busy offices but this place is unorganized. It does not matter if you make an appointment a week ahead. They will still have you wait 2hrs and 37 mins longer. And if you try to leave they will charge you $50 as a "last min cancellation" the files are a mess the doctor started reading someone's chart and I had to stop her and say that's not my file I'm a new patient. Her office is so dirty on its own piles of dust and medical supplies all just laying around not sanitized. I came in knowing what my problem is and without examining me she said she wanted to order more then $1,000 worth in test. I went to see another doctor I had swimmers ear and it was cleared up in less then 2 days after seeing the 2nd doctor. I don't recommend the quack job. read more

Went in for an earache and she kept interrupting my visit by answering the phone, doing paperwork for other patients and talking to other people while I wait in the exam room with the door open. She is very old fashion and behind the times as she gives you hand written receipts, hand written prescriptions, hand written appointment reminder and has what appears to be older medical devices she uses. She charges a 2% fee if you want to use your credit card. She has a pet dog roaming around in the office on its own which is very unsanitary. She pulled earwax out of my ear gave me a couple of prescriptions and then charged my insurance company over $800 for this quick and very uncomfortable experience. I would avoid this provider if possible. Her office is extremely dirty, dated, and wildly unprofessional. A two hour wait while sitting in a small dirty lobby and listening to the receptionist make calls to scheduled patients threatening them with a no show fee if they cancel/no show. You can hear everything the doctor is saying to patients in the back and I listened to her prescribe the same routine and same steroid to all 4 patients. After waiting two hours and not having the best feeling about being seen, I asked for my copay to be refunded so I could leave. They not only told me they couldn't refund my copay but would have to charge me a $50 no show fee if I left, so against my better judgement, I stayed. Once in the room to be seen, the doctor came in on the phone returning calls on her cell phone. She finally stopped making calls and began speaking to me and had the wrong chart in front of her. Started spewing off details of another patient. (Told me I was 54, I'm 36. She didn't even look up at me to verify). I told her what I had been experiencing and she coincidentally told me to do the same routine and prescribed me a steroid (just like the others before me) without even looking at me or performing an exam! I asked her how she would know this without looking at my head. Which finally led to her horrible exam. The patient room is extremely dirty. Tools and supplies in the sink, so she doesn't even wash her hands. (She didn't wash her hands or put on gloves when coming in the room). A toolbox that she uses the same tools on each patient without cleaning them. She tried to use the brown stick on my tongue that she used on the last patient. I asked her to get a new one out and she got upset stating I was being disrespectful. I repeated that I wanted to see her pull out a new one, which she finally did. Afterwards threw it away and when I looked in that trash can, there were no other sticks that had been tossed out after use. She then tried to use the otoscope in my ears without putting any new tips on it. I asked her to please put some on it and she said she didn't have any! Then proceeded to stick an unwashed tool in my nose before warning me. I had had enough at that point and told her I was leaving. When I say she is dirty, rude, and unprofessional, it is an understatement. I have never experienced anything like this from a doctor. I felt disgusting and violated when I left. Seems she is taking advantage of the older patients in office instead of actually trying to help anyone with their needs. Great doctor! She cares, she listens. She is not overbooked. Try ENTC, where new patients can never speak directly to a human, and they never reply to any of your texts. That's overbooked!!! I was able to speak with someone on the first call, and get an appointment the same day. She doesn't take my insurance, but I didn't care. I was willing to pay cash, after struggling for over a month to even communicate, let alone book, an appt. w/ in-network providers. The other patients in the waiting room told me that she always runs late, but that it is worth it. They were right. This is because Dr. Schwartz spends as much time as necessary w/ each patient. Went to see this doctor because I needed an appointment within 1 week of my husband's emergency . This dr is sooo rude. My husband doesn't speak much so I answered All of her questions. She rudely asked "Why I'm answering instead of him? Explained my husband speaks ilocano and I can translate for him. While doing one of her test , she appeared to become impatient and raised her voice. I don't know if this was because she was going on vacation soon and just wanted to get thru all her patients. Feeling sore for what my husband had to go thru. I signed a release of records so I could find another ent. It would taken14 days. I called on the 12tg day to check on status and was told I needed to sign release paper. They checked the files n found it in the back of his files and not worked on. I got a call from dr when she returned to talk about my husbands case. After a brief discussion, she offered to fax his records to new Dr. I'm thankful for that. First off, I'm wondering why they don't offer ZERO stars. I had a follow up appointment on April 13 to see the progress in an ear infection I felt coming and was taken care off in January. As it was in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, I decided to cancel the appointment, that I actually totally forgot about, the morning of the said day afternoon appointment. No one answered the phone, so I left a detailed message. The reason was, that I didn't want to chance it getting sick in an office of an Ear, Nose & Throat doctor. I guess if you are sick and cough a lot, that's where you would go. I got a call back later that day and the lady on the phone told me that they will charge me a $50 no show fee. After telling her the reason why I wanted to cancel the appointment , she said they are an ESSENTIAL BUSINESS and make no exceptions. So I just want to say - Thank you very much for having to pay you $50 - may you not spend it all at once. You are a disgrace and I'm sad I don't have the funds to fight you in court. read more

From a medical specialist point of view, I rate Dr Schwartz 5 stars. She was able to quickly and correctly assess and treat a recurring ear problem that had started after contracting a nasty flu virus in Europe this summer, resulting in bronchiolitis, and pain, discomfort, dizziness and hearing loss in my right ear. Doctors in Europe and my local PCP here in town were unable to help. 3 visits, several tests and prescriptions later, Dr Schwartz fixed it. I am 99% better. Reason this isn't 5 stars: This office has a chain of command problem, whereby appointments aren't recorded correctly, voice messages aren't relayed correctly, resulting in incorrect appointment time communicated to me. Also, my wait times have been 30-60 mins. I had the time and patience, and was willing to wait, others might not have. read more

Dr. Schwartz took wonderful care of my son who had his tonsils and adenoids removed last September. The office wait times were very long, however the overall experience was positive. My son's sleep apnea has completely improved, and we are very grateful to have had such an experienced doctor perform the surgery. read more

I was able to get an appointment to see "Dr" Schwartz two days after calling. The girl I spoke to on the phone was very professional and caring, which made me think this would be a good experience. Guess that's what I get for thinking. I walked in at 12:25pm for a 12:30pm appointment, and sat in an empty waiting room which looked like it hadn't been cleaned in quite a while, for 15 minutes before I even saw someone behind the reception desk. The glass door was open about three inches, so I could hear and see a woman talking on the phone and shuffling files around but still, no one said a word to me. At this point I'm thinking, do I smell, or maybe this IS the twilight zone. Finally, the person behind the reception desk says "oh hey, what's your name" and it was Dr. Schwartz. She asked me for my ID and my insurance card, which I took out of my wallet and tried handing to her. She completely ignored me and went about her business. OK, so I'm standing there, not quite sure what do. I leave my cards there for her and sit back down to fill out one extra form that she needed. Ten min later, my cards are still sitting in the same spot I left them in and again, I'm all alone. Yea, I think I actually heard crickets. OK, so now it's almost 1pm and finally I get called in. Hallelujah!! Finally....I'm IN! Now mind you, there are NO OTHER PATIENTS...just me, so I'm wondering what the wait was for. They put me in an office and I sat there for another ten minutes. Thank goodness for TikTok!! At this point, I am so frustrated I tell the girls/guy at the reception area I can't wait any longer and asked them to refund my card I used for my $80 co-pay. Dr. Schwartz comes from around the corner with a mouth full of food saying "I got ya, I got ya". Obviously her lunch was a priority over seeing a patient who had been waiting for almost 45 minutes. I read a lot of the reviews before I chose to go here. And after my visit, I decided that Dr. Schwartz is like cheese- some people love cheese, some don't. I love cheese, and I loved everything about Dr. Schwartz. You do wait a while to be seen, but when it's your turn she spends real time with you and really listens to your problems. And yes she admits she's not big on technology, but her care is old school and hands on, which I loved. I also loved all the ladies in the front office. So I'd totally recommend her, just bring a good book and don't be in a huge hurry. read more

If you can find another ENT, do yourself the favor and go elsewhere.. I'll start with the wait time to see the dr here... every time I go, I wait TWO hours to see her. Once I do see the DR, she is rude, does not listen to concerns, and even belittles any concerns you may bring up. She does not listen. She stabbed both my ears when removing wax. It hurt so bad. Her tools are not clean, she uses a water spray and oil dropper in my nose then puts it back for the next person to use it on. Disgusting. She never fixes my issues and keeps scheduling me back every two weeks but does nothing different to fix my problem. When you call them, it's a hot mess, they start passing the phone around to each other, you hear everything they are saying... no one ever knows what is going on. It's a zoo. One time I had an appointment, and when I showed up, they told me I never had the appointment. I even had the little card they gave me with the appointment date and time. I meant to post this review a while back. Dr. Schwartz seems to have an aversion to technology, thus there is an entire wall shelf crammed with folders (patient charts perhaps). The wait times are atrocious - easily a two hour wait. She goes through office staff like water, and bless her heart - she has no issue with complaining to patients about her staff. As a patient in the waiting room, I've heard her tell her staff (regarding scheduling) "You guys are killing me". Her staff seems just as disorganized, though I get a feeling that they sincerely probably try to do their job, but I would guess that she micromanages/interferes a lot. I had testing done in a room that looked like a storage room and the testing was done by someone who I would swear was plucked off the street. When I went for a follow-up appointment, Dr. Schwartz handed me my test result and when I was checking out, the staff wanted it so they could put it in my chart. I asked for a copy of the result. The staff quickly took it from me and made a copy, stating something along the lines of, "She doesn't like for us to make copies". As s physician, I guess Dr. Schwartz seems ok, but it's difficult to have confidence in someone who is so scattered and seems to have trouble controlling their emotions. read more

She came up with the solution right away, showed me how to use the product in office and told me to follow up in 3 weeks.
