I meant to post this review a while back. Dr. Schwartz seems to have an aversion to technology, thus there is an entire wall shelf crammed with folders (patient charts perhaps). The wait times are atrocious - easily a two hour wait. She goes through office staff like water, and bless her heart - she has no issue with complaining to patients about her staff. As a patient in the waiting room, I've heard her tell her staff (regarding scheduling) "You guys are killing me". Her staff seems just as disorganized, though I get a feeling that they sincerely probably try to do their job, but I would guess that she micromanages/interferes a lot. I had testing done in a room that looked like a storage room and the testing was done by someone who I would swear was plucked off the street. When I went for a follow-up appointment, Dr. Schwartz handed me my test result and when I was checking out, the staff wanted it so they could put it in my chart. I asked for a copy of the result. The staff quickly took it from me and made a copy, stating something along the lines of, "She doesn't like for us to make copies". As s physician, I guess Dr. Schwartz seems ok, but it's difficult to have confidence in someone who is so scattered and seems to have trouble controlling their emotions. read more

Came with my girlfriend for her appointment. Over heard the doctor talking down to her staff as if they didnt know what they were doing. Over heard a staff member get yelled at for not knowing how to work a printer so i assume it was their first day. But the way she acted towards my girlfriend is completely unacceptable as well. Dr. Schwartz got me in the next day. I overused nasal spray and have had severe dry nose. She came up with the solution right away, showed me how to use the product in office and told me to follow up in 3 weeks. Waited 2.5 hours after my appointment time before I decided to leave and not wait any longer. Multiple patients that came in after me were seen. Make sure to take an entire day off of work if you're going to make an appointment here and pack breakfast, lunch, and dinner. read more

I've been seeing Dr. Schwartz for almost ten years now, she's been such a huge blessing. All the times I have came has been severe, like need attention now and all the other practices take like two weeks to give me an appointment but she does her best to see me even if that means closing late, she truly cares about her patients and she's the best hands down. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Schwartz! After three months struggling to breath and 3 rounds of antibiotics I saw Dr. Schwartz to be checked for an underlying sinus infection. After reviewing my history and a thorough exam she tells me I'm having a full blown asthma attack. Puts me on a breathing treatment and sets me up with a nebulizer at home. When the Pulmonologist she referred me to couldn't get me in for another month she called him personally to explain what was going on, ordered additional testing, and called me every night just to check in and see how I was doing. I went to see this doctor to have my ears cleaned. After she was done she told me she wanted to see me in 3 months. I said OK , but I don't think I was given a reminder card. I forgot, or did not remember that appointment. I was charged $50.00 for a no show. I will not go back to Susan again. They told me that they do not call to confirm appointments, like other doctors do. They said they are under staffed. How difficult is it to make a phone call? read more

UPDATE: Dr Schwartz called me back saying she just got out of an operation and she wanted to touch bases with me. She was continuously accusatory and aloof with her information. I appreciate her calling but it made the situation so much worse than what it was. I have NEVER have experienced a situation like this. We may complain about McDonalds or a grouchy server but a MEDICAL PRACTICE acting this way is mind blowing. Original Complaint: I WISH I COULD GIVE A ZERO STAR. Extremely unprofessional office. Lindsay in their billing department is HORRIBLE and needs customer service training. This office is very unorganized. I was seen in March for a last minute appointment. (The relationship between the girl at the desk and the doctor is crazy. It was my first time there and she was complaining to me about her boss. UNPROFESSIONAL) I was told I was the last appointment before they were closing early due to COVID. I was told to get a hearing test. The hearing test location was closed due to COVID. I had a follow up in April and did not receive any appointment confirmation email, call, NOTHING. I received a voicemail on the day of my appointment saying I was a no show. I called back and left a message and DR. Schwartz called me around 9pm saying she would waive the no show fee and we can reschedule for an appointment after I get my hearing test done. Now I get a bill for the no show and she claims I had a "phone appointment". You telling me to get my hearing checked before coming back is not an appointment. I disputed this weeks ago with Lindsay and did not receive any contact from her after researching the issue. Now she wants to get an attitude with me. I don't think so. DO NOT USE THIS OFFICE. Worst experience I've ever had in a doctors office. BY FAR. WORST PLACE IN VEGAS I'VE EVER BEEN TO. Lived here for 15 years. I arrived 15 minutes early to my appointment to accommodate for filing new paperwork. I waited OVER ONE FULL HOUR while filing around 17 pages of paperwork and having to watch FIVE new people arrive, be helped, and left. I was then taken back and told I'd be helped "in a bit". You know. After waiting for over an HOUR already. After an additional 25 minutes. The doctor finally came in and asked extremely blunt and rude questions. Example: "Are you parents dead and still kicking?" After asking these rude questions and treating me like just another task in her day. She proceeds to fill both my ears with hydrogen peroxide and stuffs them shut with cotton balls. Then, since I am deafened by the liquid, unable to hear her, she walks out of the room and doesn't come back for 5 minutes. Leaving the door wide open. After her return, she extremely aggressively attempted to clean out my ears from the impacted wax. After about 45 seconds of her rough tanking at the inside of my ear canal. I asked to take a break because I was dizzy, and it hurt, and just needed a moment. She slammed down her equipment and walked over to her clipboard to sit down and aggressively write in her notebook. I informed her she could start again and do the other ear. She looked right in my face and said: "Which is it, are you dizzy or not, I'm not playing this game". After putting up with the rest of this horrid experience, I am now unable to hear properly in my right ear and have even more pain than before. "Doctor" Susan Schwartz should have her doctorate and medical license revoked. Her inability to communicate kindly with patients alone is enough reason. But on top of her uncoordinated staff, and her discombobulated headspace, she doesn't not have an effective nor safe method of advising ANY patients for ANY reason. read more

My actual appointment with Dr. Schwartz was good. However, I went in for a follow up appointment and when I walked in, I was not greeted by the receptionist at all. I spoke and was not spoken to. I go to write my name down to sign in and still, the lady said nothing. Instead, her head was down as she was doing something in her lap. I just think that is extremely rude. 20 minutes, she calls me up to tell me there is a copay. When she calls me, she butchers my name. Which I don't mind because it was her first time, I corrected her and her response was "yeah, so your copay for today is $20.00" at that point I felt disrespected. Lastly, she throws my receipt on the counter. Of course I didn't expect her to hand it to me but the throwing really was unnecessary. I hate when you have to experience things like this when going anywhere, let alone a doctor's office. I will say that this lady is a different person than who I met at my first visit. read more

The provider Dr. Swarts is fantastic and she is very detailed. The only thing is that appts from my 4 times visiting is not on time, and each time I have had to wait 30 to 40 min past my appt time. The provider needs some assistance to help her patient load and find ways to keep appts no more than 10 min behind. Sadly make sure you have no other appts scheduled for the day, as you will not know how long you will wait past your appt time. read more

I went to this doctor mainly because the other ENT that was on my insurance list had a....and I'm not kidding.....9 MONTH wait to see new patients. I gave this doctor a call and was in to see her in 2 days. Not really any point in worrying about showing up on time for your appointment. you will have at the very least a 1 hour wait. If not more. My first appointment to see her I waiting over an hour in the waiting room. She was having sciatic nerve pain that day and was moving really slow. After waiting an hour in the waiting room the admin came out and asked if I wanted to reschedule? Seeing as how #1 I was already there. And #2 had to take off work in the middle of a work day I just sat there and waited it out. Once I finally got called back she checked my hearing and crammed this probe thing in my ear pretty hard. It hurt kind of a lot. After that she put some kind of brown solution drops in my nose. Of course from an eye dropper looking thing and put it right back in the bottle. No concern for COVID or just general germ transfer? But its ok because the mask she was wearing was around her chin the whole time. I was told to use saline nose cleaner twice a day for a month and come back. And was told "Oh your so plugged up" Second visit that was at 8:00am in the morning. I didn't get called back until 9:15am. The admin lady up from calls me up and asks me "Do you know what your co pay is?" She guessed at $20. Then I get called back to see the doctor. She was so beyond scattered frantically looking at my chart and paperwork that she didn't even see that she had put me on a medication already. When she said she was going to put me on a steroid I asked her "Is that different then the other one you already tried?" she flipped over a sheet of paper and says out loud "Oh good I already went aggressive and tried that" So she would have had me taking medication that I was already on because she is so scattered. After that she said I needed to get an MRI because I might have a tumor? And while looking in my nose said "You're so plugged up" Ordered a dizzy test. Ordered blood work. Go me a prescription for nose spray. While frantically filling out paperwork at the front desk she answered the phone once. And yelled at her staff who was in the back "Who used up all of" some form? VERY unprofessional! I finally went and got the MRI. Leading up to the 3rd appointment with her I knew her office wouldn't have a copy of the MRI the day I showed up. So I called their office and asked them if they had a copy of it? Doctor Schwartz answered the phone and I asked her if she had a copy. She said she would look at get back to me. #1 Have you EVER hard of a scotor answering the front desk phone? Me either? That is what their staff is there for. Anyhow I got a call 2 hours later and the left me a voicemail asking me what Steinberg location I went to because they couldn't find the MRI? I called back at 4:45 and they actually answered the phone and said they now had the copy. I show up for my 8:00am appointment and I wasn't called back into the room until 9:30am. When I was at the second room they take your blood pressure and mine was 140 over 95 and she then started harping on me about how she has a client that went on a vacation with her husband over in Italy and he had a stoke from his high blood pressure. And that I need to get that taken care of NOW or I could die from it. That it could kill me. The again with the gross brown drops in my nose and the dropped right back into the bottle. I showed up with a copy of the MRI and I had no faith she would have it available when we were in the room. And I didn't need her barging out of the room yelling at her staff to get her a copy of my MRI. So she looked over the MRI and said "well that's good new no tumor" Then she had me go do a hearing test on that hearing room down the hallway. Even though I had already done a hearing test at Sam's Club per her request from my first visit. Not sure if I'll be billed for this second test? Her office I don't think uses any technology. I got 2 bills in the mail and there is no website to go to that I can make a payment? I'll have to either mail her a check or take time out of my day to call her office in the hope they pick up. The few times I have called I get a messaging saying something about how the number can't be reach? I hope you took the time to read this review and consider going to another doctor. I don't know if she is having staffing issues or over booked or something. One bad visit I can excuse. Two maybe? 3 really bad visits in a row is a trend! How this office is ran is not the way a medical practice is normally ran. I will not be returning back to that office. I have transferred to another ENT and won't be looking back. read more

I am sorry to say that I had a horrific experience with Dr. Schwartz. I was kept waiting over two hours for an appointment I had made more than two weeks earlier. The doctor was unkept. Her gown was dirty, her hair was dirty and matted. When I asked her to use the old mask on her chin, she snapped at me. Her open office trash can in the exam room was filled to the brim with used, bloodied tissues. Her office was disorganized with charts laying around. When she examined my ears, she was so rough, hurried, and uncaring that she hurt both of my ears. She is constantly micromanaging her front office while you are left waiting in the room. She does not use sterile gloves and does not wash her hands. Her instruments are unclean, and she is reusing disposable equipment. I saw her based on some excellent reviews, but I was sorely disappointed. I decided to seek another ENT's opinion and their office was very professional. Dr. Schwartz is amazing. I don't know why the other people are trashing her and they are really stupid if you ask me. I came in with no sense of smell, sneezing every other second and was just down right miserable. She treated me like a real person and not just an insurance card. I think she even answered the phone when I called to make an appointment and she saw me within a few hours. She is not all flowery and rainbows speaking in the voice of Glenda the good witch. She is a balls to the wall, I want to make you feel better and here's how type of doctor. Sure there is a long wait, but she's worth every minute. One of my family members was a patient of Dr. Schwartz. It was a nightmare. This doctor has zero bed-side manner. She is cruel and, at times, vicious with her patients. One morning, we sat in the waiting room and heard her nurse and her on the phone with dozens of patients who hadn't shown up for their follow-up appointments. They were threatening them with no-show fees. But after visiting her several times, we understood why someone would choose never to go back. You walk in with a problem, and she tests you for EVERYTHING EXCEPT that problem. Then, you get the bill. Thank God we had pretty good insurance, but I really feel for those who don't. On our last visit, Dr. Schwartz was in a particular bad mood. We walked out of her office and swore we would never be back. Should you choose to do the same, be prepared: she will hound you with COUNTLESS phone calls! There may be some mental problems here; there are DEFINITELY social problems. I would recommend you find someone else to help you with your ENT issues. read more

She goes over everything with you each and every time you see her and that's very important because it lets her know what is working and what is not. Absolutely horrible customer service and ambience. When we were told that the test results that were "already" faxed to a hospital, we called the hospital and we were told that they received no form of communication of any kind from Dr. Schwartz office. After this being a month long process, we tried to call the office and no one ever answered any of the calls. Being fed up, we went in person to get a copy ourselves and the girl with the blue hair at the desk was so rude and completely ignored us and we watched her also ignore a phone call. Perhaps she is great for complicated cases but just for a check up I won't go there . My visit was an absolute disaster , the wait time was 3 hours. I just wanted to get my babys ears checked ,5 min procedure . It was very difficult holding my 9 month that wants to crawl and move for 3 hour ... Looking back I don't know how we did it. The office is pretty dirty and the staff told me she schedules every 15 min. Folks that sat with me in waiting room told me every time it's hours and hours wait time . Ridiculous ! I didn't appreciate this doctor. Never runs on time, always rushing through the appointment, billing continuously wrong and over charged, never remembered who I was once even two weeks apart. I went here and had read the positive and the negative reviews . First off let me just say the reviews that say you will be waiting a while are correct . Each appointment it was 1 or 2 hours wait to see her . One of the staff was nice and said she does this often I will call you when we are ready to see you go have some lunch . She is not very peasant , she may be knowledgeable but very dry and blunt and talks down to you and is rude. The icing on the cake is getting a bill from her for 45 dollars for a missed appointment . Here's the catch I had called in to schedule and apt and to have someone call me back , nobody ever did , instead they bill me for a no show when I never even had an appointment . And from what I have read this is common. So I gave her a fair shake even with the wait and being rude but billing me for nothing that's where I call it . I know it is Vegas but trust me , there is a lot better out there just have to do your due diligence and look for it. Not recommended at all. read more
