I love Sushi and this place makes good rolls. The reason why I am dissapointed is because they put an ad on the walk in which says" free spicy miso soup when you order All You Can Eat". I almost always get the All You Can Eat and I ordered miso soup BUT they always end up charging me. When I asked them, they keep on saying its considered one appetizer. So I dont understand why they say they give it for free while in fact they count it as one appetizer in AYCE option and if you order it with another appetizer, they will charge you for it. I am visiting my son in St. Charles and he suggested that we try this restaurant. I am so glad that he did. We split a Spicy Lover (Party Tray). This is as good as any sushi I have had. Absolutely horrible. The sushi tasted so cheap and the texture was so bad I couldn't finish it. The Hibachi Lo Mien taste horribly of mushrooms and tuna salad???? They forgot the salad and soup with the hibachi meal, the miso soup was cold and tasted worse than the instant packets i can buy at the store. The mochi wasn't red bean- it was vanilla. The salad dressing was absolutely disgusting for a ginger dressing(usually my favorite!) I was charged an extra dollar per change to an item(adding, removing, or substituting for another item), and each sauce cup was a dollar- despite being only half full! We were told $40 on the app and were charged $45 in store because of hidden charges such as those described above. Service was horrible as the staff was rude about all complaints above 0/5 if i could! Will NOT be returning, wasted $45 for worse than gas station quality food. read more

This location is better than the one in West County. We went for the All You Can Eat lunch for $12.99. The Crab Rangoon's are delicious. The rest is adequate. Not gross but we went there to eat lots of sushi for cheap! Mission accomplished! This is the place for quantity not so much quality. It's like grocery store quality. We knew that and we were not expecting more. The service was good and and it's solid if you want to eat lots of sushi for cheap! This is based on the basic rolls you can order with the AYCE. My experience here was a bad one. The lady that helped us was so rude. VIVIAN, provided such a rude and judgmental persona. Upon placing an order you have an option to choose all you can eat or to pay for a meal. Our group chose all you can eat, When I requested extra rolls so I could take them home as my left overs as this was my first time trying sushi.... And I didn't really like the ones i picked first, I was aware that if you take leftovers you are charged for them, which is perfectly fine. This girl had the nerve to try to berate me and say it was too much and that I hadn't finished what was on my plate. I will never come back to this location. I just wanted to come spend MY hard earned money on good food and she ruined the experience.... On top of that she offered no refills on water. She had an attitude from the start giving people the wrong food and telling them that's what they ordered. She was so lucky we had a big group and they automatically added a tip be cause she was not getting anything from our table. The only tip I have for her is for her to shut the heck up and just let people spend their money as they see fit. I know these types of businesses tend to side with their employees but I recorded her interactions with us after she got really snotty while taking the drink orders. She will be going on the TikTok hall of shame. And they need to remover her from interacting with the customer and put her in the back on dishes. I ordered the Philadelphia roll. On the menu it says Cream cheese, scallions, salmon. Twice now it has come without scallions. I called and asked this time why there are no scallions. At first I got a manager who said "why does it matter so much if there aren't scallions." I asked for the owner and I got another manager who said they were out of scallions and would refund me $.25 for the missing scallions. I asked for a refund on the sushi roll and they said the cream cheese and salmon is the most expensive part and refused a refund. I reiterated I wanted to talk to the owner and they said the owner doesn't speak English and this is as much as they could do. I am done with this place. My food was also lukewarm this time. The attitude of the managers was the most surprising part. They never apologized and acted like what's the big deal. It was surprising the attitude of these people. read more

This restaurant is very attractively decorated, but someone needs to explain to these people that this is NOT a buffet. You have to order, wait, eat, order, wait, eat....then wait to pay. It took forever. Call it All You Can Eat sushi, but calling it a buffet is dishonest. That, and having "crab sushi" on the menu, but serving it with imitation sea food sticks on top...At least call it "imitation crab sushi" or "seafood stick sushi" or even "krab sushi"... (or, since it was $13 a person at lunch, use real crab!) All the rolls had the same ten or so ingredients in them, and the second round the rolls were so huge they were impossible to eat in one bite, and so loose that they were falling apart and could not be eaten with chopsticks; we had to eat them with our fingers! Not mention that all of our sushi and rolls were served at room temperature, not the refreshingly cool lunch that you expect from sushi on a hot day. The sushi was better than Great Wall or several other actual buffets in St. Charles, but nowhere near as good as the sushi on the buffet at HIbachi Grill. And it would only cost you a little bit more to go to Little Tokyo, or KiTARO and get AWESOME sushi instead of OK sushi... read more

Delivery was fast and the sushi was awesome! We live reasonably close, so it's always our first choice when craving sushi. Tempura shrimp is another menu favorite. The tempura is made in the true traditional style. Vegetables are always perfectly prepared. We used Door Dash for our delivery. This place.... Please Yelp allow us to start giving out zero stars. I've been to this establishment twice now. First time was not a wonderful experience but we returned because a friend wanted to go for his birthday. We arrived and waited for awhile which is fine we had a large group. When we were sat our waiter came over and took our drink order. He returned and asked if we were ready to order. "Yes!" We had our menus ready and handed them to him. We waited for 30 minutes for our appetizer. Once we got our appetizer only about half of what we ordered came out. The lady who brought it out seemed to not care one bit she just smiled and walked away. Finally about 20 minutes later our sushi appeared. This is the first time we've seen our waiter since he took our order. ALL of our waters sat empty and many of us wanted to our a alcoholic drink (oh they got their liquor license back since our last visit). We wanted the rest of our order of appetizers but who cares now we have our sushi and I'm starving. Again more than half of our order is missing. Which is pretty obvious we order about 6 rolls between my fiancé and I. We were given three. Again no waiter. I had to literally flag him down. At this point I was ready to leave. There is nothing good about the restaurant. It's filthy, everything is covered in something sticky the floor is dirty I saw dead bugs in the corner, the staff is awful obviously could care less about their job and have no idea what's going on. They all just stand behind the bar talking to each other. I mean you literally put a mark on a sheet by the food you want. There should be no confusion with that. And the food is undesirable. I'm not even sure they use real fish, it's obviously not fresh. I have no idea what I ate. There are many other things I could say about this place... Me and my boyfriend were craving sushi and decided to go here. I really wanted the all you can eat sushi for $13.99. When I walked in I loved the atmosphere. It was quiet, smelled nice, the hostess smiled and greeted us, and took us to a booth. Not very crowded on a Monday afternoon. My sushi was fantastic. The California roll and spicy crab roll were my favorite. I'm still new to the sushi world, so With the sushi not having any descriptions was a little troubling (I didn't think cucumber rolls was literally just cucumber and rice) but all in all very good. The appetizers were hot and fresh and absolutely delicious and the bill was very affordable. Here were the not so great things. Our server? Not friendly, engaging, or helpful. Never said his name at all. The first thing he said was "what are you drinking?" And then left after we said our drinks. He dropped off the drinks and walked away. Granted, for my first time being there, I could understand what to do with filling out the paper of what you want and wait for the server to pick it up. As I said, my sushi was good, my boyfriends however was not. He ordered the salmon roll, and the salmon was brown with a tart taste (no food poisoning thank god). We told the server and he took it away. We fill out another order. Wait a bit. Server grabs the paper and leaves. No refills or how is everything or more ginger (I go through ginger like crazy). I didn't get my appetizer or ginger or drinks until I said something to a different server, which made my server come to the table, then go get what we needed. At the end, the server told us he wouldn't charge us for our left over sushi because of the salmon issue (that's a thing to remember they charger .50 per piece of sushi which we didn't mind). The server was very blunt about the charging for leftovers after the first round, and me and my boyfriend said, "yeah we know about the policy, it's okay." He took the left over sushi (we didn't want to take it home) and dropped the bill off. Never came back. I tipped $4.69 on a $28.31 bill. All in all I will definitely be back, but not with that server. read more

For $12.99 per person, the all you can eat is a good deal if you are insanely hungry &/or with a large group of friends. The sushi was all right. The variety of rolls in the all you can eat menu was a bit limited. The service was okay. I kind of wished they put labels on the rolls to see which one was which. It's quite hidden & at the corner in the Dierberg's strip mall. Ambiance was so-so. If anything they could improve is to put in a large lazy susan on each table so that people can share a la family style. read more
