Firstly, the buffet was very clean and very organized. My best friend graduated college, so her family and I stopped in to grab some lunch. The service was good, our servers were very accommodating to the large party and wanted to make sure everyone was satisfied with where they were sitting. The food was good, your basic buffet food. The only downside was the ice cream bar. I'm used to buffets having real ice cream that you can scoop. They had individual ice cream cups which is nice in theory, but they tasted like ones you would get during school. Not the vibe you want when you want some ice cream.

Updated review: We went on Christmas Eve. I expected a large crowd and long wait, however, it was not busy at all which was disappointing. The food was not as high of quality as it was when it first opened. I tried the seafood options first (crabs, shrimp and fish) -- they did not seem fresh and deterred me from trying other buffet options. I tried the pho next, and to my surprise, this may be the best option they had.

I really love this buffet. We went during the weekday for dinner, was greeted and seated right away. Since my visit, I've been talking about this place none stop. Can't wait to return! It's worth the visit, even just for the pho or seafood! Everything was nice and hot. Also well presented.

A mixture of some of the dishes off the buffet.

Food was hot. soo many savory dishes to choose from. Food was always being brought out fresh. 10/10 would recommend.

For stl buffet standards, this is pretty good! I love the variety of Asian foods (Vietnamese, Chinese, Japanese, and American etc). They had fried crab, crawfish, mussels, shrimps (garlic and honey), their seafood boil, sushi, pho, calamari, and the basics like black pepper chicken, orange chicken, crab rangoon, lo mein, fried rice, the soups (egg drop, hot and sour, clear broth), veggies, and a lot of fresh fruits (mango, pineapple, orange slices), ice cream, mini cakes, etc. Each time I've gone, it's always been busy and I've had to wait, but it doesn't take too long to get a table (depending on the day/time you go). The staff works hard to get new food out on the line. I love that it's busy enough for the food to get replaced with hot, fresh food. The servers are very attentive and have always been nice. It is loud inside and there are a lot of people. It's kind of overstimulating at first, but it's not bad once you can lock in and start feasting!

A lot of food to choose from. The dining area was clean. The customer service was good. It was just an okay experience.

I must admit that I have not been to a buffet since pre-Covid and I was still a little apprehensive about going, however, I am glad I made the choice to give it a try. Back before Covid I was always go to Ameristar buffet, which was my favorite because it has so many options and this is exactly what this reminded me of. When you enter the restaurant, it's very clean, and they have really nice decor on the walls at the entry. You walk to the host stand and they seat you which they have ample amount of seating so even when the line is long, the wait won't be very long. As I was walking to my seat, I was checking out the cleanliness and they have a lot of workers that clean throughout people walking which I think is very great. They have food choices for just about everyone from sushi to hot food to pho. Literally anything you can think of Chinese, Asian, Japanese food related is in that restaurant. Even on the end buffet, they have a lot of options for children who don't really care to explore such as chicken nuggets and french fries biscuits and a few other things that kids would enjoy which I thought was great. They also had vegetarian options and vegan options so I would definitely say give it a try.

We went here with the kids yesterday during lunch time. This place interior is clean and bright. Yesterday was day two that they recently opened this location. The server that assisted us was nice and friendly. There are a lot of different type of food. As far as the quality of food, a few items do stand out to me, the other items are similar in taste to other buffet places I had. This place definitely stand out to me for the numerous quantity of different variety of food that they offer at a very affordable prices.

Gorgeous remodel. Everything is new and modern. Despite being super duper busy, we didn't have to wait long for a table. The buffets contain all the usual dishes you expect to find plus some. There's sushi, hibachi, and pho stations. Too much to sample in one visit. I did the hibachi station and while they were cooking my plate, there was an entire grill of teriyaki chicken in the works. I had to go grab a bit of that! Dinner buffet included crab legs and other seafood. My bill was just under $23 for 1 buffet and a soda, before tip of course! Our server was very friendly and the soda mix just right. One of my dining companions reported the bathrooms as very nice, very clean.

I came here on mothers day ready to big back my way across this place and man, what a buffet this is! It seems that buffet style restaurants have been dwindling, and if that has made you sad too, you need to go. Right now. The selection is crazy and there are a ton of healthy options and plenty of not-so-healthy stuff as well. It's LOUD and it's PACKED. Our server was incredibly sweet. The kids tackled mountains of fried goods, American-Asian classics, and sushi. Unfortunately I had a medical issue midway through dinner and had to leave before I got to hibachi or pho myself into oblivion. Our server was really great about that, too. Once I'm positive that I won't die in public I'll be back because what I did get to munch was great (don't miss out on the chili oil, obv I didn't and I have no regrets). Vegetarians, diabetics and low carbers, seafood lovers, and everyone else will find plenty here. It's worth the price and the wait.

Golden Apple Buffet just opened 3 days ago and I've already been twice and will be going again for Mothers day. My parents and family haven't tried yet and wanted to go there still knowing it's going to be crazy that day! #cryinginside Call me a fatty if u wish, but it has to be done! Asian Buffet with a Pho bar, Hibachi Grill, Sushi and Maki, and all your fave Chinese food! Service was great! Both times I've been, the servers we got were so nice and friendly. I had a question about reservations and the manager was also nice to explain the process to me. Because the space is new, they are only taking reservations for 10 people and up! The only thing I wish they had were maybe waiting lines for the Pho, Hibachi, and Sushi areas. I thought I was in line for the Sushi, but the line was for the Hibachi and my friend thought she was in line for the Pho, but she was in line for the Hibachi. It's got a bit confusing when they were super packed and busy. If you haven't been yet, recommend checking it out after Mother's day! #hehe @eatingmachine_stl

I'm not going to lie: I am unabashedly into this place. Probably one of the best buffets I've ever been to. It is quite a drive from STL/CWE, but I think it's so worth it. There will always be a wait, but the wait time is not as long as the crowd suggests. It moves relatively fast. There are also fun crane games there too. The buffet itself is extraordinarily clean with food items that are generally rare to see in other buffets. First, seafood boil at a buffet is crazy. Is it the best seafood boil ever? No, but that's not the point; it's extremely serviceable. Second, pho bar? That goes hard, not going to lie. You can fill it up with as much meat and accoutrements as you want, and the broth is not bad. The hibachi is also really good as well. Typically don't wait in line for it because the line is long and moves a little bit slow, but definitely worth it if it's what you're into. Other standouts, the sushi is surprisingly not bad for a landlocked city. The crab rangoons are also really delicious, probably one of the best ones I've had. Overall, it has such a wide variety of food and cuisines, and there's something for everyone. All of the foods are generally above average, and I look forward to coming everytime. Without hesitation, (even if it may undermine my Yelp Elite status), this place is a 5/5 stars.

Saw a post on social media and decided to check out this new buffet, given the lack of other decent options in St. Louis. I came on a weekday around lunchtime. It was crowded, but the wait was minimal since the place is huge with multiple sections. The food was just okay. Maybe it's because I came at lunch, but the only seafood available was mussels, clams, and some heavily mayoed crustaceans. There was a lot of fried food, and the sushi was inedible and made me question the quality of the ingredients. I tried the pho, and it actually tasted comparable to what you'd get at other restaurants, but I likely won't come back just for that.

The staff were very nice and courteous from everyone I encountered while there. I arrived early and my room was available, which I was thankful for; however, the early check in fee was a little steep but at least they were able to charge less due to the agreement with the conference organizer. The last day of the conference I asked to have a late checkout as I wanted to be able to go back to my room after 12 pm and change clothes. I was told that for a late checkout it'd be a charge of half the room rate. That was way too much. I wasn't going to stay long, I just wanted to keep my clothes in the room until I could come back and change before heading out the door to the airport. I'd recommend this resort to anyone looking for a nice place to stay in the St. Louis area and look forward to my next trip...I'll just make sure not to check in early, or ask for a late checkout.

The Casino has an actual no-smoking area upstairs. The main bar downstairs we have checked out and hung out in to sip a few cocktails and the BF played the slot game at the bar. Parking is plentiful and there are cameras everywhere. I hate the entry way inside to go to the elevators, both just give you that dirty disgusting vibe. Once you reach the inside of the casino and hit the brick floor the vibes are a little better. The casino offers plenty of options for eats from a steakhouse to a cafe and bakery, a grille and the above mentioned spots and more. The game room is OK. We played Halo the entire time since it's our favorite game. The drinks in the bar are cool depending on the bartender you chose. Asia serves some good eats, they are pretty expensive but the chefs are legit. I have hit-n-miss experiences with the bakery/cafe when trying their selections, so venture at your own risk. I really only come here when the BF suggest and it's just a pit stop for us to either begin our night or end our night.

However, there are some standard issues. Service is spotty at best often leaning toward flat out rude. The side salad is awful, but the cessation delicious. The potato soup is terrible and flavorless and there have been few times this has not been the case. Today however, I ordered my usual and genuinely enjoyed it. My dining partner ordered a BLT and potato soup. The person who dropped off the food was flat out rude and didn't want to be bothered. Our waiter, John S was terrible. It was brought to his attention that the soup was ice cold and the BLT was on toasted bread when specifically it had been requested that it not be. It took less than two minutes for him to "fix" it which meant nuking the soup and loading it with cheese which hadn't been in the original bowl and it had too much cheese and as always was gross. The BLT he took the top bread off and replaced the top with non toasted bread and left the bottom toasted. It was not made correctly and he knew it. An entire bowl of soup was left and not once did he ask if we'd like to take it to go, or offer drink refills. He was terrible! The ambience of the place is always nice but the greeters are equally unfriendly on most occasions. It's a shame because their main menu of steaks is delicious but I don't go as often as I used to because staff does not know how to perform even mildly courteous customer service. This visit was substandard in many ways and we left very unhappy with the service received and one person still hungry. For a nice restaurant that charges what they do, I would think they would want to perform better.
