I would say their forte is the sushi dishes. Poke bowl and sashimi lunch presentation is very nice and delicious. The Katsu don was OK and doubt I'll order that again. Service is fine, but it seemed kind of slow since it was not crowded at all. The music playing in the background didn't create the ambiance that I would've preferred while eating Japanese food (Motown music). Super stoked to see an authentic sushi restaurant open up in this part of town. It's located in a plaza off of Peachtree Industrial Blvd and Abbott's Bridge Rd. It's picturesque when you walk in. Love the style and decor in here especially the variety of lights coming the ceiling. The light fixtures over the tables are dreamy. You can tell a lot of love went into their menu, food, and rustic interior. It's a small mom and pop restaurant which I always love supporting. The owners are friendly and kind. The sushi we tried was fresh and had a nice presentation. I really enjoyed my udon too. The broth had good flavor. The chirasidon was beautifully displayed on a large plate opposed to the traditional bowl that it typically comes in. I actually preferred it displayed this way. Definitely check them out. Great atmosphere, great food, and great Sushi & Company. Located off of PIB and Duluth Hwy is Sushi & Co. The restaurant is just about the right size, not too big and not that small either. The interior design has a rustic/steampunk kind of feel to it. Lots of thought was put into the decor. A few of the decorations were actually done by the sushi chef. You can either sit a table or at the sushi bar. I could see this place filling up easily based on the layout and limit number of tables. The size is just about right, any bigger than they would need a bigger staff. The menu is authentic in terms of variety. Lots of traditional Japanese dishes beyond the sushi and sashimi. The sashimi is very fresh, nothing tasted too old or fishy. Everything was prepared just right. Overall, a great experience! Definitely planning on making this a regular spot for sushi. read more

I was so excited to try this spot after so many recommendations. First thing we noticed was the hike in prices for majority of items by an upward of $3. The prices from 2020 was already higher than other competitors with similar menu and quality. Now this just put it over the line of not worth it value. I ordered the takoyaki, the dragon roll, and the monster roll. The takoyaki batter seems off, was not crispy on the outside, but they did give 2 pieces of squid instead of your typical 1 piece. The dragon roll had shrimp tempura on the inside, sad to say, it was not crispy at all, the batter soon became soggy. The eel on top was similar to many other places, not outstanding and not that bad. The monster roll was much smaller than expected. The fish quality was supposed to be excellent based on previous recommendation, but it did not stand out from other sushi joints. The sushi rice did not help the roll stay one piece. Which made it difficult for me to devour them. Overall the food quality is average for the price, the portion is less than average for the price. The chair was not comfortable due to the aesthetic they try to pull off. The decoration makes me feel like it was a fine dining restaurant, but very sad to say it is not. read more

My husband and I have had a hard time finding a neighborhood sushi place. I noticed this place while in the shopping center and decided to try it. I have now been here twice and loved it both times. The first time I went alone and got a tempura roll and soup and salad. I am not really a raw sushi eater so I wanted to go back with my husband who is. The shrimp tempura roll and soup and salad were all delicious and artfully placed on the plate. The ginger salad dressing was home made and outstanding. The miso soup was tasty. The roll was also really good and fresh. It was clear that they did not use old shrimp and it was crunchy which indicates that it was fresh. It was served with the standard ginger and wasabi and eel sauce, but also a little sriracha and yum yum decorating the plate. I hate when they smother it in eel sauce they did not here. I came back with my husband and got the same thing and it was just as good. We shared some vegetarian gyoza which were very good. He got a tuna roll and some chicken teriyaki which he loved. We did not have room for dessert but the green tea cheesecake sounded like a yummy choice. It was also spotlessly clean. We will definitely return. read more

I don't really write reviews but I think this place deserves some good attention. My husband brought me here for my birthday dinner last Friday. At first I didn't have much expectation of their food because I have pretty high standard to sushi/sashimi. Soon we arrived, we did have to wait for a few mins to get seated even though we had a reservation but it wasn't too bad. As we sat down, the server immediately asked us what to drink and we ordered the hot sake and waters. The drinks came out very quickly. Then we continued to order the assorted sushi deluxe, assorted sashimi deluxe, combination tempura, and miso soups. The soups and tempura came out pretty quickly unlike other reviews have mentioned of their slow service and wait. I was quite impressed with their tempura because the batter was on point - not too thick or thin, just thick enough to hold and cover the ingredients; and they weren't too salty. After the appetizers, it did take some time for the sushi and sashimi to come out while there were only few tables of customers. Maybe I was in a good mood so I didn't feel agitated with the wait. Finally the food came and we were impressed. The quality of the fish and tamago was up to par and authentic. It reminds of a sushi place in Symna where the owner is a real Japanese from Osaka. I wondered if the owner here also ordered their ingredients directly from Japan? Plus we heard the servers communicated in Japanese... We were full and satisfied so we didn't plan to order any dessert but the boss lady (I guess) gave me a free dessert to celebrate my birthday. What else can I complain about? Definitely will come back again for the same orders and probably other food items. Last to mention is their price is decent and location is convenient. First impression of this place was positive. The restaurant is filled with modern decor and the atmosphere is relaxed. This place is clean and the server is so sweet. The server is an older woman and she constantly checked in on us to make sure everything was okay. Plus, her sushi recommendations did not disappoint. The sushi had a really nice filling to rice ratio and the presentation of it all was beautiful. What makes this place not just another sushi restaurant is how they made and placed little details with the sushi to make the plates aesthetically pleasing. Great new sushi spot in Gwinnett - I had the sashimi without rice, which can with an assortment of 9 fish and octopus, rice (which I declined), miso and salad. The fish was of good quality, relative to the price. I'm not too familiar with octopus quality, so I can't speak on its freshness, although I did genuinely enjoy it. I also had a sparking jelly sake - which was surprising delicious and refreshing. The decor and service was really nice and I really enjoyed the experience. I love this place and that's an understatement. The restaurant has a very rustic contemporary feel to it which also has dim lighting to set the mood. It's a great place to take your date. The interior design was well thought out and executed precisely. The food was fantastic and portions were generous. I ordered the poki(poke Typo?) bowl and once it arrived I knew I was in for a treat before I even dove in. The presentation was very nice with avocados, diced tuna and salmon, and some other sauce littered on top of a perfectly made bed of sushi rice which clumped together just right. It was too chewy. The breading was not crispy enough. I was craving tonkatsu and it did not hit the spot. The fried squid legs was good, portion a bit small.
